Such a fun ice cream shop with classic favorites as well as yummy unique ones. I highly recommend the ice cream sandwich with homemade chocolate chip cookies.

Great spot for this historical shop to serve love and ice cream to another generation of Taft families. They serve Umqua ice cream and home baked cookies and Marionberry cobbler.

You must stop here if you are in Lincoln City. Hands down the best warm Marionberry Cobbler in Oregon. And Vickie and Tom are the sweetest owners, full of local history and treats served with love. Even though I'm a grownup want them to adopt me !

Holy cow! This is the best Marion Berry Cobbler I have ever had! Went back again the second day of our trip for more! The people are great! Very nice and you can tell they are proud of their food! Some outdoor seating. No indoor seating. Great for takeout! Make sure you aren't taking out too far though if you get your cobbler with ice cream. You can go across the street to the food carts for some indoor seating. Bring cash! No cards are accepted! I will definitely be back next weekend.

This place is awesome!!!! Such a cute little place. The current owner's mother and grandmother started it in the 1920s and it's been going strong. They have great hot dogs and ice cream, but they do close early so think lunch not dinner. They also have a fun arcade if you like that. And they have fun activities to help you get involved in the other local business. I love when local business help each other out.

What a gem. We were greeted by the owner who proudly boasted her families ownership over the place for several decades. She was friendly and charming. She listed off the specials and house made goodies but seemed to instantly know we were here for the chowder. Now this chowder has a buzz about town. It's rather amusing Eleanor's is located across from Mo's who claim that they have the best chowder on the coast. I wholeheartedly disagree with that claim as I have found their chowder about as unappetizing as chowder can come. Eleanor's on the other hand, now this is chowder. It's creamy, heavy on sweet clams, light on potato and the flour has all been cooked out! Delicious! We also had some halibut sandwiches and their special sauce which was slightly spicy, a weclomed change from traditional tartar sauce. Prices are under $10. You order up at the counter and they'll call you when it's ready. We didn't wait too long. They have an ice cream shop too with malt shakes. Eleanor's only accepts cash and seating is limited. They have whimsical items for sale and two pool tables in the back. The rumor is that the chowder sells out quick so she recommends coming early because once they are out for the day you'll have to wait for a fresh batch the next. Oh, and the monstrous fresh baked cookies are sweet, chewy, soft with crispy edges and 100% perfect. Don't miss out.

    Banana split. Delicious!

I have only gotten ice cream items here, so can't speak for the food, but what we've had is delicious, reasonably priced, and the owners are very friendly. Highly recommend.

Amazing, fabulous ice cream and treats menu. Long time family business. Very friendly owner and staff. Lots of happy customers!

We are taste testing chowder along the coast so this review is for only a cup of clam chowder. This is truly homemade. Celery, onions, potatoes, and of course clams, lumpy, bumpy, stock full of goodies. Not necessarily creamy per se but it doesn't need to be. Husband really enjoyed the homemade qualities of this soup, saying clam chowder isn't necessarily flavorful. Personally I found it to be more like potato soup (gritty like potato soup) and would prefer a bit more spices.

Families with kids will…read moreespecially appreciate the creamery and all the interactive activities, sights, and samples the place has to offer. My wife and I participated in the ice cream tasting experience and for $45 per person, it's an experience that can't be topped. Without spoiling the experience, the included ice cream samples and souvenir cover more than half the cost of admission. From start to finish, the experience lasts 1.5 hours. You'll definitely want to book this a week or two in advance because walk-ins are not typically available. If you want to avoid crowds, I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to arrive sharply at 9:00 a.m. right when they open. Not only will you be able to park close by, but you'll be able to do the self-guided tour, walk through the store, and order from the cafe and ice cream shop, all without having to compete with a Disneyland sized crowd. I tried out a grilled cheese sandwich with a side of cheese curds and for cheese lovers, there's no better combo. The grilled cheese is rich and decadent and the fried cheese curds are deliciously crunchy. Definitely come hungry if you're doing one of the tours that include a tasting, since you'll also be collecting cheese samples at the end of the self-guided tour, and you'll want to save your appetite for something from the cafe as well. If you're able to slot in a drive out to Tillamook Creamery in your travel itinerary, you will have the time of your life. Be sure to check out the gift store on your way out, because there are so many cute plushies to take home.

Overall, I have been here so many times and always leave purchasing something.
