The edibles and consumables I consumed here are quite scrumptious. The egg fried rice is quite the exquisite option pared with the dragon rolls. The ambiance of workers is quite pleasing. I rate this dining experience 8 Alyce's out of 10.

The hospitality from walking in the door until I left with takeout was superb. I didn't see shrimp udon on the menu, but the lady helping me had them whip it up. I waited about 10minutes and my food was ready. The udon noodles were so fresh. The dish wasn't skimpy as full of veggies and jumbo shrimp. Every bite was bursting with flavor. I also ordered the crab rangoons. Note: before going here I checked the tell menu. It was blurry so I was unable to read the description, but I saw they had rangoons. After opening them and seeing they were yellow I was really taken back and scared to try them. I opened up the menu again squinting really hard to read that there is curry powder in them. After trying it has a unique flavor, but it's not bad at all. Paired with the pineapple ginger sauce it was different but in a trying new things delicious way. I'm not a local, but if I ever travel back this way I would stop back!

Grabbed a quick dinner after shopping at the nearby Merrimack outlets. Just a regular Thai place, nothing too special.

It was edible, but did not seem authentic- and the smell of one dish was so bad my kid gagged.

The soft rolls of fresh vegetables arrived beautifully plated complete with a flair of real banana leaf. It was fresh and delicious. The chicken satay arrived beautifully plated as well in a reasonable time thereafter. I was pleasantly surprised by the four generous chicken breast filets. The lightly marinated meat was very tender and cooked to perfection. The peanut sauce and pickled cucumber were perfect accompaniments. As other meals were delivered to nearby tables I couldn't help but notice the delicious smells and equally impressive presentations. I must also mention my wonderful sever. Her genuine smile and pride in the food she served made my day. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant. I think it could very well be the best in the Nashua area.

Pluses: Super friendly staff, fast service (10-15 minutes) which could also be interpreted as a negative depending how you look at it. Food well packaged for transport home. Minuses: Cost/value. Bland. 1. Summer rolls were wrapped in rice paper with the ends open so filling fell out while eating. Tasted ok. Missing something... basil or cilantro? 2. Golden bags. Tasted ok. Crispy tops, soggy bottoms and dense bland pork and shrimp insides. 3. Papaya salad. Generous portion. Tasted ok. Fresh. 4. Pad Kee Mao. Overdone beef slices but generous portions. Flavorless and dry. Clumped flat noodles. 5. Red curry with chicken. Overdone dry chicken. Flavorless and soupy. 6. Fried rice with crispy chicken. Tasted ok. Meh. 7. Pad Thai. Flavorless. Overdone chicken. Missing something. 8. Salt and pepper wings. Sogged out breading falling off the chicken wing. No salt or pepper to be found. Most disappointing item from the order. For $167 including tip, highly disappointing.

It also "gets it" when it comes to food preparation and taste. And finally, the place is such a beautifully cozy place. I fell in love with the restaurant as soon as we entered and things got better as time went on. The day started with a visit to the Currier Museum with a group, and afterwards, we all decided to go to Daw Kun Thai. We live an hour away from Manchester, so with little breakfast, we were ravenously hungry came lunch time. Having visited Thailand many times in my younger years, I developed an affinity to Thai food as nutritious, healthy and delicious. As well, Thai culture and people are as wonderful as you can think of. So when a Thai restaurant was mentioned, I gave it a big thumbs up. The folks in our group from Manchester were singing the praises of their food too We entered and were immediately seated. The owner greeted us courteously and it took a while for everyone to decipher the menu offerings. I had the Yum Talai, a succulent chicken salad with all kinds of vegetables and an unforgettable sauce. Superb menu. We left fully satiated and thankful for such a wonderful place existing in New Hampshire. We'll be back.

He was very helpful. very pleasant informed us that all the ingredients were fresh and cooked to order. The restaurant was medium and size nothing spectacular but the food made the atmosphere very worth going in! Due to the ingredients being freshly made at order time, it took a little bit longer for us to get the food, but I am willing to wait that time for our next time there the portion size was enough for me to have my dinner and take home and have a lunch. It was piping hot. I thought the flavors of the food were very fresh tasting. I could've used a little bit more flavoring on the steak, but I just chose to eat it as is. The price for two meals plus an appetizer and no drinks was $47 and that included the tip very very reasonable Here's a little update we did return and at the second seating we had the drunken noodle which was absolutely wonderful and we also had the peanut pad Thai with beef and there was beef added to the drunken noodle again I can't say how excited I am to come back and try more options

But unfortunately it misses the mark for my standards, having lived around the country in larger metro areas where competition forces restaurants to try harder to succeed. The only conceivable reason this place has survived thus far is because the locals don't know good Thai food for comparison. It's convenient to Bedford and Amherst, but the flavors are muted. I've tried multiple noodle dishes and they are all too similar with some reused sauce that tastes blah and almost burned. The chicken is almost always dry and the ingredients don't seem fresh at all, more like old produce scraps from Hannaford. Everyone I ask has the same opinion about the food here. I will say that the bao buns are actually good, but I'm there for the entree that consistently disappoints despite the prices suggesting it's at another tier. The owner is defensive about negative reviews as well, so that tells you all you need to know. They say that tastes are a preference and their prices are reasonable because nothing is "premade." I'm sorry I thought freshness was implied for a sit down restaurant and I also thought owners would consider improving based on critical feedback. Maybe offering incentives to return. None of the above, I'm wrong evidently. So, go see for yourself if you have $18 to burn on lunch takeout (including tip).
