Didn't get to try the Sweet maple restaurant in SF so wanted to stop by at the airport. My sister and I ordered the breakfast burrito to go which was very thick and filling, came with lots of eggs, bacon and sausage. Not that many tater tots inside but it also came with a side of potatoes which were super crunchy and flavorful. A bit pricey at $25 read more

Stopped by this location in the airport to grab a breakfast burrito. It was tasty, thick and filling, and had lots of eggs, bacon and sausage. Very little tater tots inside but it came with a small portion on the side and they were delicious, hot and crispy. The burrito was big enough to share between 2 people though pretty pricey. It's not an absolute necessity that I patronize airport venues when I can patronize a nearby venue for far less than what the airport venues are gouging passengers for and Sweet Maple helped me to decide to not ever patronize any venue at SFO.  After arriving at Terminal 2, I was in search of a venue for only a drink, an Old Fashioned, since I just had a fabulous meal at a venue near SFO.  I came across Sweet Maple and decided to give it a try. The atmosphere had a nice vibe and the server, Robin Ra, was very pleasant. The Old Fashioned was mediocre and the cost, like most airports, was outrageous but the straw that broke the camel's back was the EE Ben Surcharge that I noticed on my receipt. The EE Ben Surcharge is, "The "EE Ben Surcharge" or "SF Mandates" charge at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is a surcharge added to restaurant bills to cover the costs associated with San Francisco's employer mandates, primarily healthcare for employees. This surcharge helps restaurants offset the expenses related to the Healthy San Francisco program and other city-mandated benefits" Since, I didn't have a choice whether or not to contribute to this, I will no longer patronize any venue at SFO. read more

Some of the worst servers I've every encountered. They will be in the back on their phones and never look up and you will be standing at the bar for like 5 mins waiting until you walk and interrupt their phone scrolling to order. I've only had good service once here from a tall African American fella who was great but every other time I ended up just leaving to go somewhere else because no one came to take my order and they are sitting down at the back on their phones. read more

Hi, when I came back from my trip, I went looking for a place that serves breakfast and found Sweet Maple. The manager was very kind and helpful in serving breakfast. The food tasted great, and overall breakfast was the best part. The bartender was not very helpful, but other than that everything was still good. I will definitely come back on my next trip. This sit down casual restaurant is in Terminal 2, D gate. I got the nachos with pork, and they were delicious. It was $16 (no drink), which was one of the more reasonable options in this terminal. Sitting at the bar gave me quick service and they have outlets under the bar. Waitress was very nice. Was a good place to wait for a flight. read more

Located in the airport, like any food and drink in these type of locations it was seriously over priced. The breakfast sandwiches were fine as were the side of tater tots. The server made a mistake on order, which was no big deal. Did not bring water I requested. $50 plus is a lot for two breakfast sandwiches and two cups of coffee no refill. read more

This was my second time visiting this restaurant. During my first visit, the service was good, though it was a much slower day. Unfortunately, the service this time was very disappointing. When I received my order, I noticed the eggs were not scrambled with cheese but instead had a large slab of cheese placed on top. When I mentioned this to our server,Earth, he stated that this is "the way it's done here" and that they don't scramble their eggs with cheese. Rather than offering an apology or attempting to correct the issue, his response was dismissive, implying that everyone else eats it this way and enjoys it, and questioning why it was a problem. In addition to the eggs not being scrambled my sausage wasn't cooked all the way so much that they still had a pinkish color and they gave us dirty glassware. The only attempt to resolve the situation was removing a soda from the bill, which did not feel like a genuine effort to address the concern. Based on this experience, I would not return. The food and service did not meet expectations, and customer service clearly needs improvement. read more

Pork nachos were ok, not melted cheese but cheese whiz type liquid dip, which is disappointing for $18. Also having nachos served in a bowl ensures coverage of toppings on chips is inconsistant. I don't usually leave one star reviews, but I just had the worst experience trying to get a drink before a flight. This was a management and setup failure at Sweet Maple at SFO, not the server's fault. I sat down and ordered via QR code as instructed, and 20 min later, the single server still hadn't started on my drink. Turns out the drink menu offered online (not easy to navigate) is not the same as what they actually have. Then, it took another 15 minutes to get a drink off their limited menu, which I didn't even really want, but I was already set up there. Finally, they couldn't figure out how to cancel my online order to avoid the automatic card charge since you have to put down a card for online ordering. The offered to comp my drink but then still billed me for it. Ultimately, they set up the poor server for failure. They had more staff in the kitchen in the back, cannot have a single person running the food, in house orders, to go orders, checks, and bar drinks at a busy airport at 5pm, especially if your online ordering is completely erroneous. I felt really bad for the server. read more

Echoing what another reviewer said, if you're deciding between this & other food options in T2, just go to Lark Creek Grill, Napa Farms Market or Wakaba, and thank me later! If you recognize the Sweet Maple name because you've dined at the restaurant in San Francisco, don't be mistaken -- skip this. It's nothing like the food you'd get there. Millionaire's bacon (their supposed specialty) wasn't even available when I dined on a Friday morning. I get that's its supposed to be a fast casual setup, but the prices are high (which is expected!) for what you get. At least serve me my food hot & on an actual plate with silverware. If you dine here, expect a compostable plate, salsa & guacamole out of a jar with an average (at best) breakfast burrito. Food was fine, but not worth $20+, even by airport food standards. I chose this place over Lark Creek Grill right across the hall due to my familiarity with Sweet Maple and because it seemed less crowded. However, it's nothing like the Sweet Maple in Lower Pac Heights. I ordered the regular breakfast, which included scrambled eggs, bacon, and tater tots. The scrambled eggs were dry, tasted like they had just come out of the microwave, and the portion was small. To top it off, they served my food on a plastic plate despite me dining in the restaurant, which was disappointing. At least at Lark Creek Grill , you get a full plate of food with proper plates and silverware. read more

Got a coke and chips and dip. The amount of chips in the bowl for 14$ was pitiful. I assumed that for the price we'd be getting refills of chips or they'd be freshly made. Neither was true. Usually you have a little dip left over from the chips, the dips were half full by the end of the chips. The coke was a Pepsi product, no big deal, but it had an off taste, almost as if it were diet. We asked if it was and the server just said no charge for it and walked away. It's an airport so I assumed there was some price gouging going on but this is ridiculous. read more

I normally don't write reviews, but the overall food/service of this place is so bad, I had to write one. * $30 (with 18% tips) for a bland bowl of scrambled eggs, topped with tater tots, sausage, avocado, and tomato chunks. I don't like wasting food, so finishing the bowl felt painful. * Despite having very little customers and the place being quite empty, the lady appeared to be rushing me to leave. * Lady shoved the check to my face less than 20 minutes after I got my meal (I have time-stamps on my phone). I was only mid-way into eating my meal. * After I finished eating, I had to check my work laptop for e-mails, and the lady told me to leave and go sit in the food court. She used the excuse of having a rush of customers, so I had to leave. There was nobody waiting in line, only 5 other customers were in that restaurant, most tables were empty. * There was a customer in there for way longer than I was, he was never told to leave. He was also on his work laptop. If you're going to tell me to leave, tell him to leave too... * I've been to many restaurants before and I've never had a server this rude. If you're in the airport and need to eat, avoid this place. I wish I went to another restaurant. read more

The food is very good here ! A bit of a wait but worth it. Try the hot pot. They mixed it for me didn't ask they offered. Ask the mimosa flight is good so great spot for brunch. They close at 2:30 so make sure to get there on time. Outside setting is recommended read more
