Food is good, haven't had a bad experience. Service has been great as well and the ambiance is cozy.

We love getting brunch at Brothers Cafe! My order to is always the same- Kids Brioche French Toast, side of seasonal veggies and freshly squeezed apple juice. You order at the register and then sit down. Everyone has always be very kind and efficient. Can't wait to visit again!

Didn't know that this little cafe was hidden behind the Trader Joe's and Living Spaces plaza even though I've been here a million times. They have a similar set up to Crepevine where you order and pay before finding your seats. Their menus on the wall look similar too! I am not a fan of tipping before you even get your food, especially because if you want a drink or refill, you do have to get up and pay again... The food itself was good, portions are huge! It will definitely put you in a food coma for the rest of the day haha. We ordered the biscuits and gravy with sunny side up. I wish there was more gravy on the biscuit as it was just the top layer that had gravy. The eggs do have a heavy butter after taste. The chicken and waffles was my favorite. It's pretty much half a chicken, and fried well. All pieces were juicy and I love that they give you gravy on the side in a cup! Too bad they didn't give that for the biscuits. Waffle was light and fluffy. We couldn't finish the chicken so there was a little to take home. The mimosas were with freshly squeezed orange juice which was nice. It was a bummer when we went to get our second drinks the cashier told us we should have just gotten the mimosa kit. We didn't know that was a big bottle with OJ...but too late. I would definitely come back to try some other items. Food came out quick too.

    A rude server

This was the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The lady refused to provide me with a receipt. She was extremely rude and unprofessional and told I would have to wait she service everyone else who came in after me. I asked for her name and she told me it was none of my business. Her entire demeanor is a reason to avoid this establishment.

Love the 2x2x2! I haven't tried anything else on their menu, but the pancakes alone are worth going back for. They're so fluffy and soft!

I always have a great breakfast at Brothers cafe. My usual is the 2x2x2 which is always made perfectly. Service is always great as well. Today I tried the carnitas breakfast, holy cow it was good. Hope they keep this one around!

We came here for brunch on my husband's birthday and it was a great choice! His burrito was DELICIOUS! My waffle was probably one of the BEST waffles I've ever had too! It was so fluffy and the chocolate cream was so light and not too overpowering! I was "mmm-ing" the whole entire time and my husband said "I've never seen you so excited over a waffle before" but once he took a bite, he understood why! The workers were so attentive and knew exactly what they were doing! We will definitely be back!

We always see the line going out the door and the table is full so today we decided to get some takeout from brothers café. The woman that was working in the cash register was so kind! We ended up getting pancakes, chili, and hashbrowns. Everything was amazing and the chili was so plentiful with meat. The ambience of the restaurant was very happy. Lots of happy chatter. Lots of tables filled great local restaurant.

If you love hearty brunch without the chaos, Brothers Cafe is a must. Absolutely delicious! Neal's has been our go-to for a less chaotic vibe than Millbrae Pancake House, but Brothers Cafe is our new favorite brunch spot. They have 3 locations, and while SSF is closer, we happily trek to Millbrae for its quick turnover and easy parking - behind Trader Joe's or along Magnolia near the library. Family-owned (same folks as Boulevard Cafe in Daly City), Brothers offers generous portions, sweet staff, spotless restrooms, and surprisingly fast service. How it works: Line up on the right, order and pay at the register, then wait to be seated on the left. At peak times, don't even try to grab a table before ordering. Service can slow after food arrives, but just flag someone or pop by the pickup counter for your needs (water refills, extra napkins, condiments, etc.). Highly recommend: * Bloody Mary - bold, peppery kick with a crisp finish (I love a Bloody Maria but they only carry Vodka) - $8.00 * Bananas Foster Brioche French Toast - thick, buttery brioche drenched in caramelized banana goodness - $15.95 * Kid's Basic with Bacon - crispy bacon, soft scrambled eggs, and golden toast - $10.00 * Basic with Sausage, 2 Eggs, & Hash - savory sausage paired with crispy, golden hash browns, 2 eggs any style - $16.95 * NY Steak & Eggs (Med Rare) - tender, juicy steak with perfectly made to order eggs - $25.95 * Alexandra - delicate angel hair tossed with flaky salmon, sweet tomatoes, fresh spinach, capers, shrooms, and a luscious lemony white wine-garlic cream sauce - $19.95 * Alfredo - spaghetti coated in a rich blend of butter, cream, nutmeg, and a hearty side of Asiago cheese - $16.95 Optional Add On: - Chicken +$5.00 - Salmon +$8.00 - Prawns +$8.00 - NY Steak +$10.00 - Broccoli +$2.50 Perfect for brunch lovers who appreciate hearty plates and a clean, friendly spot!

Went here yesterday for a friend reunion! Such a nice cafe to eat at. You walk in and you look at the menu that's on the wall or look at the handout! I like that there's options it's very accessible and accommodating! I ordered the chicken club with no tomatoes and I asked if I can have pickles with it instead! They were able to make the adjustments which was very great! After that they give you a number and you sit down at the table. There's choice of table or a booth. It's a very spacious room. Everyone around us seemed to be enjoying their food and the atmosphere despite the weather pouring. It also gave it a very cozy vibe too. I probably like to come back and try their tuna melt because I've heard good things about it

Delicious Scramble with Chicken, Spinach, mushrooms, and Swiss cheese. Order of fruit and wheat toast to bring it all together.

Always a five star experience here. I love the way. The ordering is set up, the menu choices, the customer service, and the location. They mix it up with hearty yet healthy options. Each time in the area this is one of my go to places. Looking forward to another stop here.

Food was good and homey, the meats were tender and flavorful. It also came with a warming side of clear broth with fried pork fat, so yummy. Hard to describe but the taste wasn't appealing to me... kind of seemed like the rice noodles had been stored for too long in an old cabinet. (1/5) The pork lumpia was inedible. I don't know how you mess up lumpia so badly but it tasted off and after a couple bites I didn't want to risk it. (0/5) The soup that comes with the meal is a light mostly clear broth and it's tasty. This is officially my new airport dining choice when available. I'm not a coffee drinker but they spend an equal amount of love on their matcha and chai!! This warms my heart! Both times I went for the breakfast burrito. Big fan of the veggie breakfast burrito with added bacon :) The chipotle sauce is the liquid gold! The first time I came was about a year ago when it first opened and was remodeled and I was not impressed for the price point so I never came back. Recently some friends said they really liked it, so I thought why not give it another try? I have to say, I really did like it and they changed up their menu so that it was reasonable and you order from the menu the way you want eat. For example, pick a salad; or a salad and a protein; or a salad, protein and two sides. There is a lot of versatility so you should be able to get something for everyone. I got the apple salad and the chicken cutlet (really a chicken katsu). Felt like it was a nice combination of healthy and a little bit bad so a good compromise hahahah. The lady at the front counter was very nice and explained how the menu worked since I was initially confused. There is a sign saying they don't expect a tip because they want you to come back and they make the tip screen disappear quick so you don't feel guilty but there is a cash tip jar if you want to leave a tip. Lol. Still some pressure but not as much! The restaurant has a nice soft ambient lighting. Since you pick up your own food from the counter and help yourself to water you don't feel rushed to eat and run. So why the 3 stars since it sounds like I enjoyed it? Honestly, and I hate to say this, but it's cuz the people putting the your food on the plate (you can watch them) either didn't have gloves on or had one glove on but moved things on the plate with the ungloved hand. Fixing this would make the place 4 stars. I'm hoping when I go back I will see this because I do plan to go back!

Quail + Crane is situated on the 3rd floor of the airport connected hotel. If you can get a seat close to the floor to ceiling windows; one can see the airport and even some planes. But it's a nice spot if you are staying at the hotel or are looking for a unique experience nearby. I just don't live close enough to justify it.
