I'm very sensitive to nail nippers so I always feel nervous when someone cuts my nails but I just gotta get it done. I found this nail spa and I saw Yelp reviews to be pretty good so I gave it a try. Today I had the pleasure of getting my builder gel manicure with the sweetest women on Early names Elaine. She was so sweet and friendly, I felt an instant connection with her when I met her today. My nails were looking pretty rough, so not only did she do a great job she game me some times on how to keep nails healthy and to get them to grow. Mary was also there today, also very sweet. I plan to come back next week for a pedicure with her. Salon is very quiet and clean and very beautiful. I love that I can come on my lunch breaks and be helped out right away. They were so cute, gave me a water bottle and some chips. I got their basic pedi. With regular nail polish. Not gel. The reason why I stick to my spot is because my pedi can be stretched to a month if needed. Given my budget. No chipping. I wanted to wait at least a couple weeks before my review to ensure that my nail polish wasn't chipped by the first week like other spots.....it's still going strong! Staff is kind. Not sure why this place has 4 stars. I only came to this place out of desperation. Walking in the vibe was unfriendly. I asked for dip powder and she tried to convince me to get gel 3 times. When I denied she said something to her friend in a rude manner. She proceeded to do my nails in such a rude manner: I should have walked out but I was desperate and had a short child care window. Anyway i would rate my dip powder set à 6.5. (Color was uneven, nails were uneven) but literally 2 days later they 3 of them are off already!! There are like cheap press ons. She didn't do the proper prep and now theyre all falling. I would go back for a refund/fix but fear I will be met with the same awful energy and I prefer my peace. She was so friendly, very professional and gave me my space. She wasn't too pushy or tried to sell me anything further. Very professional. The place was clean, the staff was all friendly, I was able to make a last minute appointment on a Friday afternoon and she was so quick to take me in. Parking is ample. they're located in the big plaza right off the 71, so that's convenient. The prices are a little higher than what I'm used to paying for gel, but she did amazing! Dropped in for 2 gel pedicures and 2 gel manicures. My mom asked for cat eye that they offer and her gel manicure alone took over an hour because they didn't know how to use the cat eye magnet! Her back was hurting by the time the finished and they didn't do the design in the same direction and skipped a nail! For my French tip, I had to ask to get it fixed because the white tips were uneven and they gave me square round instead of square nails. For the price we paid and the amount of time we spent there(2 1/2 hrs), I definitely expected better. We won't be returning. read more

I decided to try Amy Nails 2, while visiting California, and I'm glad I did. I ended up getting a dip manicure and spa pedicure for a decent price. I made an appointment right at 9:00am when they posted their hours of operation, and they were a little late coming and opening the shop. That was fine but the positive things about this shop is that they have a great selection of dip colors, it's clean, and the staff is friendly. called and was able to come in as a walk in, but service felt super rushed, which was weird since there was nobody there but another lady. what I didn't like was that they don't use single use tools - i didn't see her disinfect tools at least since she jumped from another pedicure straight to mine & lastly, a tool she was using fell to the floor and she just rinsed in my dirty water & continued using. bacteria can spread in feet really quickly, won't be coming here again. the prices are the same as another shop in chino hills and they use single-use tools & are very clean & never made me feel like they were in a rush. This was one of the worst places I've been to. I visited with a friend, and while they did her pedicure, I was left with my feet in cold water. Meanwhile, the staff were on their phones, chatting amongst themselves. They were also very pushy about which pedicure options we should choose. When we went to pay, we left a 15% tip due to the subpar service and pedicure. The staff member laughed and sarcastically remarked about our American Express card, implying we should leave a larger tip. I do not recommend this place to anyone. This is the only nail shop I know that turns people away so rudely. YELP says they open at 900. I arrived at 900 the door was open and the lights and signs were on for "OPEN". There was a couple waiting inside and another lady getting her nails done. The lady said "we're not open until 930. I then asked if I could wait inside until 930 for the others to arrive. The worker said "no." If you're not open why are the lights on, doors open, and why is someone getting their nails done and others waiting. Won't be going back here simply because their customer service was rude. The business should update their hours if they don't want to work. read more

I've been a regular here and LOVE getting my nails done here with Linda (who is amazing). Super accommodating to scheduled appts and walk-ins. They have a big variety of colors, effects, gems, etc. and love that they have chrome in so many different colors. I bring a reference picture of what I want but have also asked for specific things outside of the reference picture which they're happy to accommodate! 1st and 2nd picture are my most recent nails, where I asked for white and blue/black chrome background to flower accents and rhinestones. Great pricing for the quality of nails! 3rd picture is a french tip with rhinestones at the base of the nail. All are gel nails, super cute and have lasted super long 2-4 weeks. I've also gotten pedicures here which are super relaxing. The salon is super clean and feels so relaxing, they usually have a lot of airflow and also have a bathroom in the back too. This location has gotten revamped and looks the best it's ever been! Now, they give you a complimentary 8oz bottle of water along with your back massage (from the massage chair you sit on during your pedicure). Love this place and how great it looks now!
