I told her that I had to leave because I had to get to work and went to Starbucks instead, which I really didn't want to do. But this has been a pattern with this place- either they're not hiring enough staff, the staff that they have is overwhelmed or something is going on. I've been coming here for almost a year- and I definitely would prefer to patronize a local Shop, but not if it's gonna take five minutes to even just get my order taken when I am literally the only person in line. I was killing time in between events and so the pour over came in the glass carafe it dripped into but came wiith a nice stoneware small cup to drink out of. The stoneware kept the heat but couldn't contain the entirety of the pour. So the remainder in the glass cooled pretty quickly that way. Also I had the crossaint warmed but it fries the brie. That's on me for the request but it would have been great if someone could have caught that for me.
