Stopped by right when they opened and purchased two cuts with sweet sauce. Not sure if it was the owner working, but he was very nice and brought the pizza out to me when it was done in the oven. This is like a hybrid of old forge style but with sweet sauce which is amazing. Crispy dough, perfect sweetness to the sauce, and the cheese wasn't as rich/greasy as some Old Forge pizza in NEPA. Perfect pizza IMO. Bonus, Guers in the old school box. Highly recommend this pizza shop! They also do par (half) baked to go and finish cooking at home. read more

Sweet Pizzz is AWSOME! I love their pizza. Keep in mind, this is not a traditional NY, Chicago, or Detroit style pizza. It is totally unique. The dough is a little heavy. The sauce is sweet but not weird and the cheese is super flavorful. It is a quite unhealthy feeling meal but once you start you can't stop eating it. It comes with a hot dippinh sauce similar to a finely ground salsa that pairs well with the sweet, cheesy slice. I've only ever had plain and pepperoni and bothered were fantastic. Brought here by a friend just to try the sweet pie. Not a fan of sweet style sauce but this is pretty well balanced. Really though the crust made the pizza for me. Not to thick nice an crisp. Right amount of cheese so the crust could cook well. Wasnt sure I was going to like this place but am happily surprised. If your travling through the area I would stop through. read more

This place is not good...I mean really not good. I went out there yesterday, took a trip to the local area from NJ to check out the different sites. I had heard that Sweet Pizzz Pizza had an interesting take on pizza and that I should check it out. I heard wrong. Listen, if you are out in the area and you don't plan on swinging back through any time soon, don't waste one of your eating experiences here. The place is completely forgettable, except for how bad the pizza is. You will tell stories about how bad the pizza is. It will act as a reference point any time you come across bad pizza. You will say to yourself, "This pizza is pretty bad, but not nearly as bad as the pizza I had at that place in Frackville...the place with the funny name?" I am confused about the positive reviews that this place gets. Either the people who frequent here have never had pizza anywhere reputable, or they have some weird nostalgic tie to the place that reminds them of their childhood every time they bite into a slice of this weird tasting, overly doughiness. They offer two sauces, one sweet and one traditional. They also offer two pie styles. A sicilian square pizza and a hand tossed round "thin crust." The sicilian was not a sicilian pie like any I had ever had. The crust wasn't crispy at all. The thin crust had a thicker crust than any of the "normal" pizzas that I have had in NY and NJ. The sweet sauce is definitely sweet, I'll give it that. So sweet in fact that you wonder if the sauce is actually a ketchup base. The traditional...well, it's traditional if by traditional you mean completely flavorless. So here is some extra weirdness...maybe they know how bad their sauce is. Both pizzas that we got came with a extra mini cup of a different sauce that they plant right in the middle of your pizza. So not only do you get to sample the horrible sauces that they put on the pies, but they allow you to taste this other garbage that have decided was just too good to bake onto a crust. Three of us visited Pizzz Pizza. We had been road tripping all day. We had not had one sit-down meal. Our day started at 6 am and we sat down for this meal at around 5 pm. We ordered two large pies (14"). When we ate all that we could stomach eating, there was still more than a whole pie left. That should tell you how bad it was. The worst part for me is that I like trying different foods. Out in this area of PA there are a ton of local ethnic places. You could probably find cool Dutch or German restaurants that serve authentic old timey cuisine. Instead I wasted my time and money on this place. Fortunately, I now have a litmus for bad pizza. The waitress was really nice...that's a plus. read more

I came to the restaurant with my husband and small child about a week ago. When we arrived we were very confused as there was no one at the counter, and no waitresses around. There was only one table of people there and they had already had their food and were hanging out. The waitress got up from the table, and told us to sit wherever we wanted. We sat down and she brought us a menu. She then went back to the table to chat. We decided rather quickly and waited for quite a while for her to disengage from her conversation. She took our order, and went back to the kitchen. When our food was ready she was still talking to the other table, and took our food with her to talk. She talked over our food for a good five minutes, and then brought it over to us. At this point, she just walked out of the restaurant with the others from the table. We were left completely alone in the restaurant. She never asked about our food, never came to see if we needed anything (which we did) and the phone was ringing off the hook. At the final ring someone came in and answered the phone, at which point the caller had hung up ( I don't blame them) the guy who came to get the phone then disappeared as well. The food wasn't all that great. I got a cheese steak, and there was hardly any meat on it. I asked that it be in the garden and it wasn't. My husband's pizza was barely warm. We actually went to another restaurant because we left hungry. We waited for about 15 min for our waitress or anyone to give us our bill so we could get out of there. When she came back in, she yelled to us from the kitchen to ask how we were doing. We asked for the check and she said no. She would tell us our total when we were finished (we were done.) Overall, if you are looking for terrible service and sub-par food this is the place to go. If you are looking for a decent meal and don't want the waitress talking over your food and being more interested in hanging out than helping you, I would go somewhere else. read more

I was on my way to Scranton from Baltimore for a political rally (GO HILLARY!!) and I stopped for gas and a bite to eat in at this place along I 81. I highly recommend this pizza. I got the original sauce with extra cheese and onion, it was amazing!! I actually ate it while I was driving without napkins so it was quite a mess, but a wonderful, delicious, scrumptious mess. If you are traveling on I 81, do yourself a favor and pull over in Frackville, I highly recommend that you stop there, you will not be disappointed!! read more

I always hit this place up when I'm in town. The sweet sauce is a little too sweet for my taste, but overall great gluten free pizza.

There large square cut is good, but after dealing with them on their delivery I will probably never order from there again I ordered a pepperoni pie it came plane I called they came and picked up my Pizza took it back put pepperoni on it put it in the oven and brought it back to me instead of just making a fresh pie and then they had the nerve to say well we didn't charge you for the pepperoni I said I wanted a fresh pie not s*** that was sitting in your pizza delivery guys car and the oven the same amount of time. There are two kinds of pizzas you can get: the regular Sweet Pizzz Pizza, and Rocky's hand-tossed pizza, and guess what? Both are fabulous.

Frackville for a town of 5k or so has some decent pizza places and this one is pretty good and unique. I believe it is owned by the Former Rocky's owner. Its unusual pizza but very good tasting. read more
