Looked good but waited too long to order anything. Just left. But it still looked pretty good though options were limited.

The bakery store is literally located in Westchester, and there's limited parking in the rear, shared with other merchants. All the pastries are made in house, and they serve seasonal special items like Halloween themed cookies. The cashier is friendly and patient, and they offer cash discount. I've had their Florentine cookie, sugar flower cookie, and peach pie, generally great.

I popped in here for the first time after running other errands in the area and Westchester Bakery is a solid OG bakery! Not a huge space or a tone of frills but delicious and delectable old school pastry options along with some delicious looking pies and other sweet treats. The employees were super friendly and thoughtful with packaging and I would definitely pop in here again for some sweet treats!!

Absolutely love this place. A calm, small, clean & inviting bakery with friwnnldy staff. Plenty of trades readily available. I can appreciate the filling custard options available. I brought in a photo of a cake for Inspo, and it was executed perfectly! Thank You Westchester Bakery for not only the quick next-day turn around, but doing so with the best customer service ever!

Love this bakery. We come her all the time and for all birthdays they make the best cakes. We get the macarons, éclairs and more

Went to order a chocolate First Communion cake for my daughter, and a vanilla cake for non-chocolate fans. They never disappoint. I also showed them a picture of an adorable nature/whimsical cake I found online that I wanted, with no qualms, they duplicated it beautifully. Won't post a Pic of that, I'm not sure if there are Baker Covenants, or copyrights, but they did a tremendous job. The First Communion Cake was their idea. Both cakes were delicious, and absolutely perfect.

SoulTrain cake

I ordered a themed SoulTrain marble cake. The cake melted in my mouth! Everyone was impressed. Unfortunately, they couldn't make the cake topper I wanted, so I ordered a cake topper from Amazon. Other than that, I would order again. Pricing was reasonable. Thank you Westchester Bakery for making my 50th birthday celebration memorable. I wanted to give 4.5, (points off for cake topper) but no half star rating available!

7in cake This is my first time ordering a cake from here haven't tried it but when I got home I noticed the cake was lopsided and it looks like the inside filling is coming out

Ordered a cake for my sons first birthday. I thought the design looked pretty good and overall was happy about it, unfortunately couldn't really say the same about the taste. The frosting especially on the cupcakes tasted very artificial and the cake just basic, nothing really much exciting about it. It was their marble cake with buttercream and it somewhat tasted like something from a box. For 190$ I think it was quite underwhelming. Definitely was a pretty cake but won't come back due to how it tasted.

Graduation Cake

Just want to say how amazing this place is and what a deliciously incredible white cake with fresh strawberries, whipped cream and custard. I needed a half sheet graduation cake for a 1 day turnaround. I called Friday afternoon for a Saturday noon pickup. Jose was nice enough to accommodate my last minute order and it was a lot cheaper, for a much better cake, than some other well known bakeries nearby. Anyway, took it down to Orange County for the party and everybody was in love with the cake and raved about the cake and how they decorated it. Definitely a top notch bakery and will be a go to for events! Thank you to all at Westchester Bakery!!!

Took a stroll through Westchester Center while my car was getting fixed and stumbled upon Westchester Bakery. I've heard good things about this small neighborhood bakery and it did not disappoint. I ordered a caramel cappuccino, a cinnamon apple pastry, and this chocolate chip and Oreo cookie. The coffee was very tasty with the perfect amount of caramel. The cookie was extremely soft and satisfying and the combo apple danish was very good with an apple pie style apple slice in the middle. This bakery definitely satisfied my pastry craving. The staff was friendly and very welcoming as I walked in as well.

Plain croissant

I just moved in the area and decided to give this bakery a try. Everything was great, service, ambiance, etc. except for the croissant or something called that name I had..omg it was stale and a little bit on the salty side. I had to throw it away. Forget about it being flakey, more of being 'bready' in my opinion. Now, I dnt like to write negative reviews about small businesses, but wow, that croissant left a bad taste in my mouth, literally. Luckily, it wasn't expensive!! But then, I'd still give them another chance, maybe that's not their speciality. I haven't tried their other items. Hope they won't be stale though.

Price range for a simple Smash Cake?

About how long does it take to get a response if we send an email? Or, what's the best way to place an order? I'm trying to do it by email but I'm afraid my emails are not getting to them.

When I first emailed them (on a Tuesday), they answered. I emailed them back and got no answer, so I called. I spoke with a woman who said that the decorator was out and she would make sure that he returned my call when he returned. No call back. I… Read more

I've seen people here working on their laptop and groups of people around one table so the vibe is chill and friendly. It also depends on what time of day you come. Weekends usually get packed. As for the drinks and food. What we've had here has always been good. Best to eat their Croffle and baked goods there. Although Matcha is not for my liking, I'm more for their Taro Drink. B says the Matcha here is one of the better ones she's had. I have to agree even their Matcha Ice Cream is good. We get is the Matcha Croffle + Ice Cream, Matcha Einspanner, Taro Einspanner, and their cakes. Only thing I knocked down a star is because Not all the workers know the answers to your questions of what is in what food item or if you can substitute the milks. So that's something Cafe Upper should train all staff. Especially if people have food allergies.

Personally, I don't like that style, I was hoping the original would change that for me! Long story short, I didn't like the Walnut Chocolate Chip. I personally just don't like that style still, so I'll chalk it up as a "me" problem. The cooked part was good. The Rocky Road was cooked through. It was an amazing baked good with good flavor and add-ins. Between the roasted almond slices and fudgey chocolate chips, I was enjoying it immensely. A highlight of my day for sure. If you love underbaked cookies, Levain is your cookie shop! I don't and they had something for me too!

Based on my memories, this LA location keeps it consistent with a similar taste and texture as the NY location. 3.5/5 Chocolate Chip Walnut: This cookie was tall and slightly undercooked in the middle. The middle was a bit on the squishy side, and crunchy on the outside. Due to the undercooked quality, it's not a cookie I'd get regularly, though I am a big chocolate chip cookie fan. 5/5 Rocky Road: This was delicious. I'm not usually a marshmallow fan, but the addition of this ingredient formed a nice chewy consistency that I expect from a cookie. Chocolatey tidbits were well melted into the cookie texture and produced some fudgey notes. The cookie sizes are large and potentially shareable, and feel like an every once in awhile treat.

We've seen all the viral fruit pastries online, and were so excited to try them. When we got in, we were able to see all of the options on display and they had a big menu telling you exactly what was in each one. You order off of a kiosk, which makes it incredibly easy to order. Almost all of our pastries were ready before we had even left the kiosk, which was great! I went with the mango and the peach, both of which were fantastic! The shortbread cookie underneath both was delicious, the mango mousse and filling tasted so fresh and amazing. The peach had an Earl Grey cream and fresh peach chunks as well. Both were in the classic white chocolate shell. These are so cute, fun to eat, very refreshing, and not overly sweet. The shop itself is adorable, plenty of seating, great decor and the staff was super friendly and very nice!
