A quiet little spot in the outlet fashion mall. The chocolate truffles and chocolate covered strawberries were delicious! A little pricey, one truffle for $3.95. *We went with a group for lunch and the lunch food was unimpressive. I would come back for the chocolate but not the cafe.

On our way to Meow Wolf from Albuquerque, we stopped by Sweet Santa Fe to get some of those famous biscochitos (New Mexico's official cookie) we've heard so much about. The shop is cute, and bigger than expected. It's conveniently located near the restrooms of the outlet mall, and the entrance is advertised visibly from the parking lot. (You know how some shops in outlet malls are impossible to find and you just have to hope you parked at the nearest entrance? No guessing here!) They serve much more than cookies! We only came for sweets, but they serve sandwiches, pastries, and quiche, etc as well. The lady behind the counter was slicing freshly made fudge when we came in. They did not have cupcakes or French macarons if that's what you're looking for. The biscochitos did not disappoint! No worries see they are award winners! They're like a shortbread cookie lightly flavored with anise and sprinkled with cinnamon. Even better, they come packaged in cute little 3-packs for $3.75 that are perfect souvenirs to take home! They come in a bigger box too, but I'm a sucker for cute packaging. Oh- and they have gluten-free biscochitos and other cookies too! Speaking of cute.... The truffles! So many different flavors to choose from. We ended up getting a pre-packaged (again, perfect for gifting!) 4-pack of the favorites: pistachio, traditional Mexican chocolate, espresso, and raspberry. I'm usually not into truffles because all the ones I've had have been solid on the inside, but these were so creamy, smooth, and delicious! I was most excited to try the pistachio, but surprisingly, that ended up being my least favorite of the four. Something just didn't taste very pistachio-y, but I couldn't put my finger on what it DID taste like. It wasn't bad, just not what I expected. In another twist, the raspberry was much better than I expected. Raspberry in sweets tends to taste fake to me, but this was just right, and the chocolate didn't overpower it. The traditional Mexican chocolate had a bit of a kick to it; I loved it! The espresso truffle was good too. If you happen to be passing by, definitely stop in and pick up some sweet treats or even brunch/lunch!

A fantastic place for sweet lovers. The ice cream and pies are fantastic. I also have a coffee that was great too.

Stopped by for some coffee. The coffee was good and energized me for the rest of my day. The cashier was very sweet. There's a lot of seating space with comfortable lighting. Very cozy spot.

I stopped by here was not disappointed. I will say the location is in a strange place since this outlet mall is mostly empty. He bakes goods are great and the breakfast sandwiches are tasty. I would recommend the prickly pear iced tea

They had exactly what I was looking for: biscochitos in a gift box. Glad I stopped. They made a perfect gift for my out of town friends.

    Gluten free options?

Yes! When we were there April 2022, they had several selections of GF cookies (including their famous biscochitos!). Not sure about availability of GF sandwiches, etc but worth calling to find out!

We definitely preferred to European style with almond milk, but I think that we would like the more traditional ones if they were made with milk. We also really liked the brownies, though the Aztec brownie + ice cream gave me an intense caffeine overload--my fault! Our first time here we each got an ice cream, both with fudge and whipped cream. As I said, while the Aztec was delicious, it really was too much for me, but I still ate the whole thing! I was surprised by how much I enjoyed my husband's mint chocolate chip--the peppermint flavor was real--it tasted like they soaked the milk with peppermint leaves to make it, and it was so refreshing! We liked the chocolate truffles and bon bons so much that we ended up buying them as gifts. Our favorite flavors were the sage/goat cheese, peanut butter bar, Aztec round, bourbon pecan, and lavender. Finally, the service was outstanding. The servers were so kind, patient, and helpful. Our first trip the server took the time to write each flavor on our box of chocolates so that we would know what was what. The second server listened as we decided which treats were for which friends, and he wrote their names on each box before wrapping them. So very kind!

Though the chocolates are quite costly, $4-5 per piece. I also had a mint chocolate ice cream. The mint flavor here is so unique, of fresh mint, which might not fit well with people who likes mint chocolate ice cream. I like it though. The ice cream is soft and smooth. Chocolate pieces are creamy Mango smoothie is refreshing. I recommend checking this unique place out when visiting Santa Fe.
