I loved how crispy the crust was! The strawberry tart was delicious, it wasn't too sweet! The tartness of the strawberries balanced out the sweet custard very well, and, again, I loved the crust!! Delish. The peach galette was similar to the strawberry tart, only it was more mushy. It's fine. First time there. First think I noticed was most cars in the lot had out of state license plates so I'm not sure locals go to this place. It was 930 on a Tuesday morning and they were on a wait for tables plus there was a line at the baker and some items were already sold out. The food is fine not great but not bad either it's the type of place I wouldn't try to go back to but wouldn't contest if someone else did. The bread was also fine but much better to be found in Santa Fe. The price was a little high for what you got. So basically average food for about average price. read more

It started out to be a new experience for me and my husband. Well when our waitress came to bring our drinks, she spilled all the ice and water in my lap and went down into my shoes. I know accidents happen. I tried helping her but she never picked up the ice melting under my feet. So I moved, and she never came back, So a while and I mean a while, a different waitress came to take our order. And they never removed the half spilled water glass or bought me fresh water. This French bakery was recommended to me by my brother and a friendly local at this past weekend's art fair. By the numbers... 5: number of pastries we walked out with. Bakery/café with options for days. I was both excited and overwhelmed. My daughter and I loved the ham and cheese omelet. It was buttery with just the right amount of cheese, and for a dollar more you can get it made with egg whites. We also shared an apricot/berry clafoutis, a puff pastry with crème, and a salmon sandwich. I could have skipped the puff pastry and salmon sandwich. They weren't bad, they just weren't as good as the omelet and clafoutis. There was ample seating, and you can tell this is a place the local retirees love. It stayed busy even around 1:00 pm. I appreciated the server/chef splitting the sammich onto 2 plates for us, but it made it hard to split only one egg between the two plates. Thankfully, the egg was perfectly cooked! Unfortunately, the sammich itself was bland and boring. We were glad we split it because neither of us would've wanted a full sammich. Came up in my research for my trip and I'm so glad we were able to make it. We stopped here for breakfast on our last day before we headed back home. The atmosphere was definitely bustling, even for a Wednesday morning. We passed the pastry case on the way to the table and I was very tempted to get something on the way out, but didn't. Prices were very reasonable for the quality, which makes it a place I think we would frequent if we lived here. I ordered the coconut french toast along with a large orange juice and both were excellent! The OJ was fresh squeezed and so good, a perfect start to the morning. The french toast was phenomenal. Moist, lightly caramelized in spots, and topped with seasonal fruit and a generous sprinkle of coconut flakes. I devoured it and loved every bite. I love french toast but I'm usually hesitant to order it because it can turn out too dry or too thick, but this was exactly right. Our server was quick and efficient, and we didn't wait long for our food despite how busy it was. The only drawback for me was the design of the two person tables. The legs were so close together that it was tricky to sit comfortably without bumping into them. Not a dealbreaker, but something I noticed that made it sort of uncomfortable if you're in a slightly bigger body or like to sit closer to the table. Otherwise, the space was very cute. This is hands down one of the best breakfasts in the city. The customer service was excellent, and the space is nice and cozy inside. The bakery itself is amazing, and the lattes are absolute perfection. I ordered the pistachio latte, and it was so creamy, topped with whipped cream and chopped pistachios, which really took the flavor to the next level. Our server was great and recommended the Quiche Maison with artichokes, prosciutto, tomatoes, feta, and spinach. Chef's kiss. It came with a side salad and a delicious dressing that tied everything together. The crispy hash browns were also amazing. I will definitely be back and highly recommend giving this place a try. It does get extremely busy in the morning. We waited about 35 minutes, and they do not take reservations. I did notice the crowd died down around 11:45 a.m. to noon. My first visit ever to this lovely establishment was September 6, 2025. I'm in Santa Fe visiting family, then came for breakfast. I needed to look up the definition of clafouti and I'm glad I did. It's a charming name for a restaurant. There's plenty of parking. Very friendly staff seated me right away. Interior decor is relaxed and earthy. Wait staff uniforms are very appealing and professional looking. The menu has many nice choices and is clearly French food oriented. In addition to the restaurant, there is a bakery in the display case shows an incredible array of delightful looking pastries. I had a ham and cheese omelette that was cooked to perfection. With that I had a side of hashbrowns. They were very interesting in the way that the potatoes were prepared into more of like a Julianne cut. They had a distinct crunch to them and I found them to be quite appealing. Coffee was dark black for me and was excellent. Prices are fantastic for the quality of the food. This will become a regular spot for me when I visit Santa Fe. read more

My daughter and I took a trip to Santa Fe for the weekend. We drove up and came right here for lunch. A coworker highly recommended Clafoutis. The restaurant decor is French countryside. They were very busy with a constant stream of patrons coming and going. They really pack people in with little space between tables. The servers are all in white shirt black pants, very French. I had the asparagus ham quiche. It came with a side salad with a vinaigrette dressing. The quiche was very good but not hot. The crust was delicious and just melted in your mouth. I only wish it was hot when served. My daughter had the Brie veggie sandwich. It was full of Brie and veggies. It was very good. She also had a cup of onion soup. The soup was very tasty. The sandwich was on a baguette. The baguette was delicious! The meal was affordable as well. The bathroom was very clean. Be aware there are only 2 single serve bathrooms for the restaurant. So I love this place but the last couple times it has been a disappointment. I am 7 months pregnant and asked for over medium eggs. When I got my plate, the whites weren't cooked at all so I asked for it to be corrected. Instead of making me new eggs, they just threw the eggs from the original plate onto the grill and then she brought the same plate of hash browns, bacon, and same eggs (now over hard), just flipped over from where I had pierced them earlier to check the whites and yokes. Not only is this a heath code violation, but when I said something to our server all I got was a lousy sorry. Very disappointing... I did speak to the manager and told her what happened, she was very kind and took the dish off our bill. Overall I will come back for bakery goods but probably not going to be sitting down for a meal. read more
