This is a slice of cake I ordered from the Sweet Shop Bakery. Notice how unnecessarily thick the icing is. The cake itself was thin and uneven, and I have a feeling the icing was plastered on so thick to hide how crooked the cake was. When I called up there to tell them I was unhappy about it, they hung up on my face. I wouldn't recommend this overpriced trash to a homeless person. Save your money and get a Walmart cake. No one at the party was happy about this pitiful pathetic cake and I felt let down because I was recommended this bakery and tried my best to impress my family with it. Never again do not support these people

Simply the best! I don't know how else to put it but this is the only bakery I'll ever use. Best customer service and everything tastes amazing! Thank you so much for this amazing cake!

Cakes are awesome! Love the icing - not sure what they use but it has a slightly different flavor I've never had anywhere else and it's yummy (would love to know what they use if anyone does know)! Cookies are ok. Skip the macarons - don't think they make them in house anyway. The other stuff I have had, which is limited because I usually get cake or a "someone special", is ok.

    Daughter's birthday cake. Delicious!!

Absolutely the best cake in the area. Also the cookies and creme horns are crazy good. One good thing, I don't live to close or my ass would even be bigger. Love this place. Great people, great service. Give it a try you wont regret it.

There are few pleasures in life that exceed the wonderful taste of High Point, NC Sweet Shoppe Bakery's "French-Apple Pie." This pie -- with sweet apples, cinnamon, raisins and a delicious crust with topping -- is over-the-top good, and it has been made the same way for decades! I first tasted it when it was offered as a desert option in the early 1960s at Bob Burleson's Kepley's Barbeque, and it left an indelible impression on me then; it still does today 60 years later! What an incredible testiment to a great tasting pie! It's the best, but you should order this special pie in advance!

Old school and the best. Their cakes and pastries are fantastic as their longevity proves. They are on the pricey side but worth it.

First of all, I don't know what's wrong with me! I don't know why I've spent the last few years in…read morethe dark about this place. I went in one day after lunch about a year ago and was completely overwhelmed because everything looked so good and I didn't order a thing. Stopped by yesterday and now I'm hooked! If you read my other reviews, you'll see where I tried another bakery's cinnamon buns twice and just was not a fan. Biggest critic was the lack of cinnamon in the cinnamon bun - this one is the opposite. There is cinnamon in every single bite - they even do the cinnamon-sugar on the bottom of the pan to ensure the crusty sweet goodness on their buns! This is definitely in my top list of cinnamon buns. The dough is so good and soft, the icing is to die for, and you know you'll get cinnamon in every bite just by looking at it! This is where I'll be going from now on when I don't want to make a batch at home! I also got the cookie butter cheesecake - how have I lived my life this long without trying this? Cheesecake, caramel and cookie butter in every bite! The cheesecake is super fluffy and I can't wait to try more of their flavors. I got my husband an ooey gooey chocolate chip cookie and we were both delighted with the flavor - it's the perfect balance of browned butter and bittersweet chocolate! He can't wait to give their oatmeal raisin cookies a try. For five in the evening, this place was hopping by the time I left. There was initially one person ahead of me and one behind the counter and as folks came in, two more came out the back to help! Everyone was super friendly and helpful! The shop itself is cute! I love walking in to see display case after display case of baked goods - all of them looking amazing! They also sell ice cream and coffee here! Definitely a bakery I will be frequenting often!

We stumbled upon this bakery on a whim when walking around the parking lot looking at other things…read more Even though we were about to go eat dinner, we stopped in for a treat. I was pretty taken aback by how many dessert options they had. Not only did they have a plethora of types of desserts, but they had sooo many flavors/varieties of each one. A dozen different variations of cheesecakes, several cupcake varieties, a dozen different kinds of macarons, several different cakes, tiramisu, tres leches, banana pudding, edible cookie dough, more cookies than I could name, brownies, eclairs, and more that I'm sure I have forgotten. If you can name it, I'm sure they have it. I've been looking for somewhere nearby to get a proper macaron (as opposed to a hard, macaron shaped cookie without the traditional texture) at a reasonable price point. This definitely met those criteria, so of course we tried a flower shaped macaron. It had the perfect, delicate cookie and that classic, light almondy flavor. We also had a brownie batter cookie, which was delicious and reminds me of something I would have saved on Pinterest a decade ago but never gotten around to making, much less as well as they do. Though there was a line inside, we were served super quickly by friendly staff, and found a nice seat outside in the sun. They also had abundant indoor seating. Maybe I'm the last one to hear about Sweet Dough and everyone else has been a fan, or maybe it's a true hidden gem. Either way, I will 100% be back.

We got to roll out the dough and then add our own personalized toppings! The other restaurants here are great as well. I got to sample the smoked mac and cheese from B3 Smokehouse and it was super flavorful and smoky. Some of the best mac and cheese I've ever had. Although sitting anywhere in the food hall is great it's a particularly great place to go if you're seeing an event at Truist point stadium. Their outdoor patio looks out over the stadium and the field so you'll have a perfect view of whatever event you're watching.

There's a nice selection of a variety of food vendors, nothing is duplicated and it's all super unique to the others. We sampled four of the vendors and all of the food was amazing! There was nothing going on at the park so it was relatively slow for business which we thought would make our visit easy without a lot of waiting in line (which there were none) or waiting for our food. The reason for the 4 stars is the wait time and friendliness of the vendors. They all looked very tired and dare I say grumpy?! No greetings, no smiles, no interaction other than taking the order and pointing to the pay scan. The orders took absolutely forever! One sushi roll took about 15 minutes and the birria bites took about 25 minutes! Crazy wait times for such a small crowd. We will definitely return for B3 Smokehouse and probably some sushi, they were both phenomenal, just wish the vibe was a little more friendly and fun.

Lately though, the brand in general has been letting me down, and this location was no exception. The doughnuts appear to be around 10-25% smaller than they used to be (thanks, no doubt, to corporate, not this location). But, they were also stale and rock hard, which absolutely is the fault of this location. After warming them up in a wet paper towel, they were still pretty good, but I shouldn't have to do that. That said, the interior is clean and the staff nothing but friendly. Better quality control and moving products faster (or just throwing out day or multi-day old doughnuts) and I would still have complaints about corporate, but I'd give 5 stars to this location.
