I recently ordered a cake topper from Kelly, prior to ordering I was emailing her back-and-forth about design options and potential date pick ups to ensure that she was the right one for the job. After speaking with Kelly and sending her designs of the Nike Air Jordan Shoe I wanted the toppers to replicate I was sure that she was the right person to take on this task. I was not wrong! I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Kelly, as I arranged for a friend to pick up the order for me when it was ready. But wow! I was completely blown away when I opened that box and saw the shoe cake toppers. It was exactly what I had wanted and my boyfriend was so impressed with the design once I finally surprised him with his birthday cake! We still haven't even eaten them and refuse to throw them away. So happy I ordered from Kelly's Cakes! It was my first time ordering a custom cake, so I really liked how Kelly's website has a comprehensive menu to make pricing and flavor choices simple, and also had the gallery showing all the other amazing cakes she's made in the past (and there are lots to view!). I contacted Kelly on Facebook - she replied really quickly, and after a few messages and suggestions, we were able to get the cake order put together. I got the lemon cake with American vanilla buttercream - tasted great! For a design, I asked for Coco and Moana characters, with a Disney castle on top, and for the outside to be a blue/purple like the night sky. Kelly nailed it! For the amount of time and effort Kelly must have put in, I think the pricing was very reasonable. We'll definitely be ordering from Kelly's Cakes in the future! read more

I just bought some of Kelly's cookies at a bake sale to support the Capitol Confectioner's Club and their annual cake show. There were so many cute and beautiful cookie designs (all luau-themed), and they tasted just as great as they looked. Other commercial cookie shops around town have delivered cookie bouquets that look better than they taste, and now that I think about it, their designs weren't anywhere near the level of Kelly's artistry.
