Warnings of shady practices

Very shady and outdated business practices. Waiting for cavity fills since May, rescheduled multiple times due to their error. Finally got in for October! and confirmed that parents are allowed back for cavity fills. We were told they prefer not to, but can if we insist. (Routine, no general anesthesia). So that morning, we did insist and were refused. Then they brought my husband paperwork for him to sign. It was the most ridiculous paper that they never showed us until the morning of (pictured below). You are not allowing me back with my child, then pre-warning me that I may hear them in distress?! Yeah right. I told my husband not to do it, but he missed my calls and messages with all the commotion from my anxious daughter. He asked again to please go back with her. They refused. Took her back sobbing in the wheelchair unable to hold her head up. Then they told her she needed to calm down. She's been terrified for months for this appt because they keep rescheduling since MAY! They said if she didn't calm down she would need to reschedule with general anesthesia. My husband said if you just let me hold her hand she will be fine. They finally gave in after her fears were taking a toll and she was totally fine with dad there, big shock! She just needed a trusted adult with her. Too many things happening in the world today to refuse a parent. Now after sharing my experience, people are telling me that this place makes up cavities and other reviews say the same. I pray she actually had cavities, as they told me they weren't visible because they were between her teeth! Avoid at all costs and spare your children and yourself the heartache. We have gone to them for 6 years, but no one gets my loyalty after an experience like that! PS-I called numerous other local offices...they ALL let parents back for routine procedures and cavity fills. I was even told by two that not allowing us back is big red flag and the paperwork was beyond alarming. This coming from other professionals. Something has changed at this office, and it is not good!

Colorful S.

I would give all the staffs and dentist here 100000 Stars if I could. Everyone are so friendly, kind, and gentle on my 2 years old daughter and they are very informative and explained to me everything in detail. Beside that, they have a nice and clean play area while we wait and keep the kids entertained. I'll recommend Sweet Tooth Pediatric to all my family and friends.

We just finished up a round of dental work for our two boys, 5 and 2. The professionals at ABC…read moreDentistry had the tools and experience to keep my children happy and comfortable, despite the drillings and fillings needed. Dr. Michaud was excellent at keeping my 5-year-old engaged and distracted while he did the work. Dr. Happy did a wonderful job with my 2-year-old and helped me feel at ease.

The fact the ladies were nice up front is why I'm giving them some stars. But we just had two…read moredifferent opinions on our almost 4 year olds teeth. They wanted almost 1700 worth of work including the syrup to sedate our son to fill 3 "cavities". They instantly wanted a down payment for this work to be done and my husband told them that he needed to go over it with me prior to agreeing. So we made an appt at dentists of gilbert crossroads and it was a night and day difference as far as opinions go. Mind you we never were asked to get X-rays the first day at this location so all they did was clean our sons teeth. Gilbert crossroads did an X-ray and they all have separate rooms so you aren't sitting next to a bunch of kids is what my husband said. He said it was very odd the way the set up is between the two he didn't care for the huge bay of 7-8 kids sitting so close to one another. So second opinion today at the other office we selected only wanted 65 dollars to disc between his two front teeth, X-rays, and noticed the cavities he did have were so small it didn't make sense to fill it when they are just going to fall out. The back "cavity" we were told at this office didn't even show up on the X-ray at the second office on his images. Why tell someone they have a cavity if you don't have concrete proof in an image?? Seriously. Thanks for making parents worry/panic. Glad we didn't come here after all and won't be recommending to others.
