I have been taking my children to Dr. Bashara for 8 years! My boys love him and staff! I LOVE them and the staff!! They have seen my boys grow into the young men they are becoming, and are always quick at everything. Neither one of my boys have any fear of the dentist thanks to them! My children (ranging from 1-8) have been patients of Dr. Bashara for a year and a half and this is where they will continue to go until they no longer can go to a pediatric dentist :) I am always impressed with Dr. Bashara and staff from the phone conversations to the in office visits. The waiting area is clean and fun for the kids - they have puzzles, a train track suspended from the ceiling, a few video games, TV screens playing movies, etc. The x-rays and patient areas are clean, well kept and comfortable. The staff is genuinely happy to see you and has always treated us with the utmost respect and friendliness. We LOVE this dentistry. My oldest went to another dentist before this and he left a bad taste in our mouths (literally, haha). A friend told me about Sweet Tooth and I am so glad we gave it a chance. Super friendly staff from the time that I made the first appointment for my daughter to the day after, they called two check to see how everything went. The front office staff was very friendly and helpful. While they did x-rays on my two year old (with my permission this was not mandatory) they made sure that my baby was outside of the room and one of their staff members played with her. The dental hygienists that we had was Jessica she was great with my daughter she was great answering questions. The doctor came in great demeanor, great attitude and he was wonderful with my daughter. Both of them were all so wonderful answering so many questions from a first time Mom going to the dentist for the first time with her little ones. I called them for the first time after a recommendation from my sister-in-law. I now I completely understand why she loved them so much! Great place! read more

This morning at 10:50 my son was set to go under have some dental work done. We were informed that we must be there 30 minutes prior for paper work, so 10:20. It is now 12:00pm and they have not seen my son. I was told after I finally went and asked when he would be seen by the doctor that I have another 45min to 1hour and 30 minutes wait before he even goes back. Mind you I was told this would be a 3 hour visit tops.. In and out in 3hours.. Well it will be 3 hours before my son even gets seen.. Did I forget to mention they didn't even begin to bill my 2 insurances companies till Monday 4 days before and then tells me several different stories and when calling both my insurance companies find out Sweet Tooth dropped the ball.. We've been going to Dr. Bashara's office now for a couple years. My pre-teen kids just love visiting the staff, especially their favorite dental assistant/hygienist - Jessica. She is awesome and so caring. They are very professional and take great care of my kid's dental needs. My wait times are never long (longest I waited was 15 mins). I absolutely love Sweet Tooth Pediatric Dentistry and so do my young kids. I have 3 boys ages 4, 3, and 1. They aren't afraid to go to the dentist because it is geared towards kids. They have a train circling the waiting area with movies and video games. They have movies play while their teeth are being cleaned. The staff are wonderful to work with. I would definitely recommend this dentist to any parent looking for a dentist for their children. This is a Christian business so you will see a scripture on the wall. We have never discussed religion during any of my visits though, so you don't have to worry about it feeling "churchy". I have brought my kids about 4 or 5 times and will continue to use them. read more

I LOVE this place, and I wish that Dr. Tim could take adults as well. Every time we have been in there he and his staff have been AHHHMAZING!!! I brought my 19 month old daughter here, this was her first dentist appointment. They really made her feel comfortable they asked us if we wanted to take a tour of the office beforehand so she wouldn't be so nervous going into the back. She did cry throughout the whole process since this was her first appointment but they really tried comforting her, and they didn't seem at all bothered with her crying. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star is because we were waiting in the lobby for about an hour before getting called back. Staff and dentist are great office was very clean. read more

I'm surprised Sweet Tooth Pediatric Dentistry doesn't have more reviews because of how excellent they are. My daughter actually enjoys going to the dentist because of how welcoming and warming the staff is. They certainly make it a fun environment for the kiddos. Also, Dr. Bashara always does an excellent job and we are always in and out quickly. Recently my daughter had a cracked tooth and the staff got her in immediately. She has had other issues, they get her in same day ALWAYS. We have never had to wait long at all, as soon as we check in, the staff calls us back immediately and Dr. Bashara does not keep us waiting either. I've had to leave two messages because it was after hours and staff calls back immediately in the morning. I recommend STPD to all my friends and family and who ever is reading this review. My only complaint is how far the drive is from my house but well worth the drive. Knowing that my daughter is in good hands makes it so worth it! I took my kids to Dr Bashara a couple days ago, I was going in to the office with very high expectations!! I have been a dental assistant for 17 yrs but have been a stay at home mom and a dental assistant sub for 6, My kids have never been to another Dentist beside The Dentist I worked for. Due to insurance changes, our family DDS and former boss referred me to Dr Tim. I was very pleasantly surprised and happy!! In my head I was nit picking everything & they did a superb job! The front staff was very helpful, you can tell the Dental assistant we had really enjoys her job! She & Dr Tim really work well together!! He is has a great personality to work with children. My daughter and son have been patients at Sweet Tooth for their whole life and we have nothing but positives. Our most recent visit was because of a sore on my son's gums and when I called the receptionist she was very accomodating and got us in soon. I found the whole staff to be smiling and friendly and we had one assistant that basically walked us through the whole visit from xrays to the exam chair and finally to check-out. Dr. Bashara explained everything without making us feel rushed. The waiting room is fun with animal paintings, movies, and a train to keep kids' minds occupied if they are nervous. I will NEVER EVER take my child to them. My 3 1/2 year old son had very sharp pain/swelling in his tooth. He cried all night and could not sleep. My wife took him to this place and they demanded $1700.00 upfront to give her appointment. She asked if you please can do installments but these MONSTERS said NO. She called me while I was in the middle of teaching a class in High School. I told her to pay them. They gave my son 3 appointments in a month period so they can do the complete treatment. On the last appointment I took my son and the front office lady demanded $150.00 from me. I refused to pay by telling her you took all the money in advance and she told me how about $80.00 after your insurance discount? I refused to pay and she told me you want to talk to the Dr. I said NO. When I took my son to the Dr. inside the room, he asked me you want to talk to me? I said NO. Then he asked me, I heard you have a problem with the front desk lady. I told him NO, I don,t have any problem with her. I told him you guys are not human beings. You guys have no ethics or morals. If you made 3 appointments, why you did not make 3 payment instalments? How you expect us to pay you in advance $1700.00. He never said a single word. This is the most incompetent, unprofessional business I have ever dealt with!! They told me my son had 7 cavities, two of which needed mini-root canals. I scheduled two appointments in March 2011 and since June of this year, they have cancelled and rescheduled his appointment four times! They have no good explanation for me, other than saying that one of their dentists abruptly quit (which also raises a red flag for me). I spoke to two different office receptionists (Sharon and Dan), and both were rude and condescending toward me when I questioned the competency of their business. I have never before felt as angry and insulted as I did while dealing with this place. Never take your children to this dental office!!! Something strange is definitely going on with this business. I am shocked to see one of the previous reviews. All I have ever heard about Sweet Tooth has been phenomenal even prior to going there. We used to live in San Tan Valley and several people told us to drive into Gilbert to go to Sweet Tooth. Once we finally went we realized just how fantastic they are! I wish we had gone to them sooner. We went to a place in QC that is now closed and it was really nice but in no way as personable as ST. The staff was so nice to my children and both dentists are very patient and fun for the kids to talk to. Don't wait to take your kids there- just go.
