Cake tasting was by far my favorite wedding planning activity! The Sweet Treets team made our appointment so fun and educational. They have so many different flavors and combinations to choose from. We were able to choose the flavors we were interested in and actually try them at our tasting. We stopped at Sweet Treets this weekend since we were picking up sandwiches next door. I read about the cake balls in the paper so wanted to give it a shot. The cake balls were absolutely delicious, moist and flavorful. We tried lemon, andes mint and chocolate. However at $1.75 a piece or $20 per dozen, not sure it's worth it for basically one bite. If the price was a bit lower, the rating would be a lot higher. read more

We used this bakery for our wedding cake, and it was very nice. We have use them for other things such as baby shower and birthday cakes, and they've been nothing but difficult, not to mention incredibly expensive. I would never consider going back to this bakery because everything is always a huge pain in the ass with them. And make sure you order weeks in advance. Apparently you cannot even buy cupcakes on the same day at this place. I had chosen a bakery close to home in hopes of being able to get a cake every year for our anniversary, but honestly they seem to work hard at driving their loyal customers far away. read more

The cakeballs for NYE were a huge hit and a special order tiramisu Jackie made for my family Christmas was such a hit, I was tempted to lie to everyone and say I made it to take all the credit! i hadn't had the pleasure of eating any sweet treets before. by luck, we ran into the storefront sat morning. it was great atmosphere w/ the owners/staff being so very friendly and genuine. the food was de-li-cious. i had the egg, cheese, ham croissant (not pre-made; made when u order) and my daughter had the sausage kolache. i had a mocha which was excellent. while they settle in, don't be fooled by the small menu (they just haven't put all the pieces in). eventhough their breakfast was yummy, i can't wait to try their sanwiches for lunch. we'll be going back for much more. ps. they're located in oak hill, next to counter culture, subway and where the old goodwill used to be on 290). read more

This was a very bad experience, we came in and random people from the outside were just going in and out of the bakery, and they sounded like they were drunk with he amount of laughing and noise. When we finally came to pick up the cake on the day of the wedding, we noticed that it was very lopsided, which was fine, so we asked them about it and they tried their very hardest to make excuses about why it was lopsided, saying that the decorations just made it look like that and that it's perfectly straight. But when we finally insisted that it was lopsided, the took it into the kitchen for half an hour, and we needed to get to the venue in an hour. It was just overall a bad and super unprofessional experience, and I would not recommend them to hold any responsibility for you or your family and friends. read more

We got our wedding cake here a few years ago and not only was it incredibly delicious, the experience was wonderful as well. They worked with me through several revisions when we had to make some budget modifications to get the perfect cake for us at the perfect price. All correspondence was kind, helpful and prompt. My sister-in-law also used them for her wedding earlier this year and she had a great experience, too. I'm looking forward to using them next year for my son's first birthday. Sweet Treets is now my bakery of choice after my wedding. I live no where near it but will continue to use them for all celebrations because of their level of service and for their amazing little pastries. Jackie and her team just did the desserts for my wedding and people were bowled over at how amazing everything was. She made us our small wedding cake, cakeballs, cupcakes, and pecan & key lime tartlets. Very little was left to take home and the number of guests I had her make them for was 30 more people than needed. We also had the bakery make cookies for our welcome bags. WOW! Sweet Treats is excellent! We used them for our wedding in October 2016. The whole process leading up to the wedding, they were very professional and hospitable. During our meeting and tasting,we tasted several flavors that we have never even heard of and saw cakes that were formed into all sorts of extravagant shapes. We selected a traditional brides cake and the grooms cake was in the shape of a yeti cooler. The staff kept in constant contact with us prior to the wedding on our desires for the cake and worked out a reasonable payment plan that worked for us. On the day of the wedding, they delivered the cake in a timely manner and were very friendly. My only complaint was that I ordered some beers that were supposed to be made out of cake and on the top of the cooler, but those never came - there must have been some miscommunication down the line. That was slightly upsetting but easily fixable. But the cakes were delicious and a beautiful additive to our wedding. I would definitely recommend them to anyone! read more

I sent them a picture of my boyfriend's drone that I wanted on top of his cake and the did an awesome job. It looked exactly like the drone in the picture down to the tiniest detail. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Horrible service and they don't even make what you ask and pay for. I was very specific with how I wanted my cake and when i went to pick it up it didn't even have writing on it. They said they could fix it very quickly so they went back and wrote happy birthday Everett on it as requested. The writing looks terrible it looks like I did it myself and if I wanted it to look like that I would've done it myself instead of spending $100 on a 10 inch round cake that's not even what I wanted. We love having Sweet Treats in our neighborhood. The baked goods are fresh and everything we have tried has been tasty. The cupcakes are standard size as opposed to the gigantic cupcakes at another local cupcake bakery. I actually prefer the smaller size since I can enjoy the cake without less guilt. I also think the texture is better. Those big local cupcakes seem really dry to me. These are moister and more flavorful. The cakeballs at Sweet Treats are better than most I've had elsewhere. Again, the smaller size works in their favor. I really enjoy the decandence for about 2 bites. More would be too much for me. The only downside is since everything is baked fresh, the later you get there the less there is to choose from. But if we call ahead and they have our favorite available, they'll put it aside for us. YUM! I'm also surprised to read about the sketchy customer service. My family as always received friendly and helpful service at Sweet Treats. Our favorites, for the record, are the dark chocolate with raspberry frosting and the banana with nutella frosting. We also LOVE the smores frosting. Delicious! read more

They made the most delicious cake for my recent wedding! Every part of the process was smooth from the out of town take home tasting and the decision making process. Although they were sometime difficult to reach by phone due to their popularity they would return my calls! The day of everything was delivered on time and it was magnificent and people complimented us on the taste of the cake. We sampled several mini cupcakes. Usually I am not a fan of mini cupcakes since they are usually dry. This was not the case here! Chocolate chip cookie dough (hubby's fave), strawberry cheesecake, vanilla, strawberry (made with amazing tasting strawberries), and OMG chocolate (OMG). I don't even like strawberry cake and am a huge fan of both of the strawberry flavors. Will be getting cakes and treats here in the future. Tried a few cake balls too, not a fan. I think the cake wasn't moist enough and the choclate wasn't that great of quality, good, but not worth the price for me. Go for the cupcakes! This makes me consider coming South through the Y just to have an excuse to stop by! read more

There products are super yummy and the price was below any of the other places we looked at. We ordered our cake balls from here for our wedding and everything was delicious!
