    Blackened Catfish
    Stevi B.

I came in for dinner after a day of travel, exhausted but crazy hungry. I had a reservation for a bit later but was able to grab a seat at the bar quickly. I made the reservation because I love me some good southern food! Given the area, I wasn't sure what to expect, as dining in wine country seems to follow a pattern of cuisine leaning more French/Italian. Looking at the menu I was so disappointed to be traveling alone because there are appetizer items I would have loved to try with my order (but share with someone so nothing went to waste!) The PB&J wings sounded fire... so I'll have to get back around to trying those! I decided on the blackened catfish with the help of the bartender. The catfish was blackened nicely, the smokiness of the tomato mixed in and the collards full of flavor/cooked to perfection. I'd order this dish again for sure. I also opted for the zero alcohol cocktail, which was a nice refreshing end to the evening.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a great spot for a date night and a yummy meal![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My boyfriend and I made reservations for a Monday night and it didn't seem too busy, but several tables were still filled. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience felt classy but comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was excellent. To start, we ordered the fried chicken sliders. These were a nice size for an appetizer and came out hot and fresh! The crisp and the flavor were pretty textbook for a fried chicken sandwich, and the sauce was tangy and tasty. I ordered the blackened catfish which came with collard greens and mac and cheese. The catfish was flavorful and the sides were pretty good as well. My boyfriend ordered the 3-way smoker combo with ribs, sausage, and pulled chicken (they were sold out of pulled pork). For the two sides he got potato salad and grits, which were both quite yummy. The meats were all pretty tender, though I do wish they had a little more flavor/spice themselves; I suppose they were meant to be dipped/covered in sauce. The biscuit that came with the smoker combo was also great! For dessert we ordered the sweet potato bread pudding, which our server told us would take about 15 minutes in the oven. I appreciated the time to rest and digest, because this dessert might have been the highlight of the whole meal! The warmth of the bread pudding was worth the wait and paired really nicely with the ice cream and caramel drizzle. I would definitely come back for that dessert, and probably to try some of the other menu items as well!

Service was friendly and attentive, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the atmosphere was nice overall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the tri tip and sausage link with mac and cheese and a side salad. Portions were solid and everything looked great when it came out. The sausage was probably my favorite part of the meal, and the mac and cheese was creamy and good. The food overall was a little underwhelming flavor-wise compared to what I expected, but still a good experience overall. Would come back and try other items on the menu.

Driving up from San Jose with some friends and we decided to introduce them to Sweet T's. A wonderful meal again with awesome and attentive service. Some new items like the tender and juicy brisket and potato salad were delicious. But we had some old favorites like the fried chicken, pork Spareribs, and fried okra.

Mh I love this place it was an exceptional dining experience. I had the brisket, which was so tender it literally melted in my mouth, accompanied by honey butter biscuits that were absolutely irresistible. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was lively and energetic, making it a bit noisy, so it may not be ideal for a romantic evening, but perfect for a family outing in town.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall enjoyment. After a day of zip lining, this place was the perfect way to unwind and end our adventurous day. It truly met all our expectations and left us eager to return.

We booked last minute early dinner reservation for Monday. Service was great! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior was clean and cozy, think "date night" ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We order cocktails before dinner. We enjoyed four delicious meals: loaded mac n cheese with brisket (hits the spot) - appetizer enough for dinner, gumbo (nicely seasoned), fried chicken (tender meat and crunchy skin). We even saved room for a Mississippi Mashed Mud Pie! We will be back.

I used to really enjoy coming to Sweet T's, but over the last year I feel the quality and service seem to have taken a dip. I've been twice recently and both visits left me disappointed. The beef brisket was overly salty, the tri-tip came out cold and our nachos barely had any meat on them. The food just wasn't as flavorful or fresh as I remember and the service felt very slow and inattentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's still a decent spot, but not quite what it used to be.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm hoping they can get back to the level that made it a favorite. 3/10.

Ate here the other day and everything was wonderful, i oove they have smaller versions of the BBQ available on the starter menu because somtimes you just want a little bit of something in addition to your other food. My dog is always welcome on the patio and he is also a big fan of the BBQ.

Our friend wanted to celebrate his birthday here. Our first time and birthday boy's second time. We had reservations for 1:00 and their automated system works great. They send a confirmation text as soon as you make the reservations. They are located at the end of a shopping center. It was a bustling place when we stepped inside. People checking in and others picking up their to-go orders. The tables looked pretty full and the ambiance was lively. They sat us next to a large party and near the door that leads to their patio dining. I was happy to sit by the door as it brought in some cooler air whenever the door opened. I thought it was a bit on the warmer side inside the restaurant. We were very fortunate to have Karen as our server. She was funny, friendly and personable. Servers must work together because someone else brought us our food and another refilled our waters. We decided on: Rib salad Fried catfish plate BBQ brisket sandwich Brisket chili Potato salad I give them a 10/10 for their fries. They are thin, crispy and perfect. My brisket sandwich was okay, better with the bbq sauce. I chose to have it with the burger fixins' which was a nice accompaniment to the brisket (lettuce, pickle and tomato instead of coleslaw). My husband enjoyed my leftovers the next day. Our friend devoured his catfish plate. He had subbed sautéed veggies and avocado for the fries and coleslaw and he inhaled every bite. My hubby enjoyed his rib meat salad, chili and potato salad. He ate everything too. I saw others ordering their fried chicken plate and it looked delicious but some comments I had read discouraged me from ordering it. Perhaps next time. The interior is big enough to accommodate large parties. They have nice patio seating as well. Employees work hard to bus tables, sweep up when necessary and I was impressed that they wipe down the seats too. Everything looked clean and tidy afterwards. Nice job!

Something for everyone with an emphasis on comfort food. Friendly staff. Modern, clean facilities. Recommend their Bloody Mary, Mac and cheese, and crispy chicken salad. Their wings are just okay. Recommend ordering them extra crispy.

I know I don't even need to write the review because everyone knows Sweet T's is delicious. The problem is how hard it is to get a table because of how good it is! Make a reservation as early as you can! Honestly though their Shishito Peppers appetizer is one of the best I've ever had and I dream about it. Everything on the menu is great, the atmosphere is great, if you haven't been here you're missing out. It is expensive but totally worth it.

The ambiance is casual, and the service was great to throw some tables together for our large group without advance notice. Our server was Heather, and she took great care of us the whole meal, which lasted almost three hours! Never a rush for a birthday party. For food, we always have our favorites here: the wedge salads (whole and half!) and, for appetizers, the Frickles, Kin wings, and calamari. We also had some other great dishes, such as the YBC burger (Certified Angus Beef patty, sharp cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, on a toasted brioche bun), the Dip (Thin sliced, slow-roasted top round, melted Grand Cru Gruyere cheese, smoked horseradish cream, toasted hoagie, garlic au jus), and a Michelangelo (two 4oz burger patties, American cheese, house aioli, house-made pickles, lemon pepper bacon and onion jam, crispy potato strings, lettuce, and tomato on a toasted brioche bun) - truly a masterpiece! I also grabbed two pizzas to take home: the Mac Daddy and the Smokehouse. Their mac n' cheese as an entree is great too, but not this visit! We tried some adult beverages as well, and the margaritas this visit were a disappointment - very bitter. The Mai Tais were amazing, by comparison, and soon several of us found a new beverage to enjoy. All the food was great, and the Frickles were well-fried and hot, but not greasy at all. The wedge salads are substantial, so a half for us is usually enough as an entree when taken with all the appetizers. And again, Heather was a great server for our needy group! Thank you! Looking forward to the next road trip to Windsor.

This made the environment fantastic and entertaining! Apparently, they do this every Tuesday at 7pm. Be sure to check them out. I ordered the 9th Street Chicken Parmesan sandwich with a side salad. This sandwich had yummy crunchy and warm bread filled with chicken. The sauce wasn't overwhelming which was good and the cheese wasn't too much. It was a very tasty combination. The salad was a spring mix with chopped tomatoes and ranch dressing. I didn't eat the spring mix. We don't prefer each other. The tomatoes were super fresh and I dipped them in the sauce and ate them. Every Tuesday is also Taco Tuesdays and the tacos are $2 each. I ordered a tri-tip street taco. See the pic. The vibe here was friendly and the patrons spoke to each other. I suppose dogs are welcomed at patio seating. Unfortunately, one of them kept barking and dogs and people walking by. That part was annoying. Other than that, everything was good and because KC's closed early this place got some new customers. We look forward to returning. Thanks

7/7/19 Looks like…read morecertain days of the week or month they open up Oliver's Grill Central Station on the side of the market, outside. Sorry I am not sure which days this happens. Anyway this was a Sunday, so there you go. So, this is a confusing thing. Is this place for to-go only?--or do they want you to eat here? I'm not sure cause everything points to them wanting to get rid of you, but then they have picnic tables right next to the stand so....????? I mean, first off, when you order they give you a ticket and tell you that you have to pay inside the market. So I do that. Then you're supposed to come back and tell them you've paid and they will "make" your meat (which you can see them grilling in the smokers a dozen feet away.) Then after sitting for 10min or so, they'll call your name and hand you a bag with your meats wrapped tightly in aluminum foil. You can grab utensils and napkins on the side. So we got us some ribs, specifically an uncut slab of ribs, which yeah are easy to peal away with your fingers, but also tri tip... that was NOT SLICED, a half pound chunk of meat. Um..... so...... was this meant to be taken home and prepared?--sure seemed like it... 1. Choice Half Tri Tip $10.99: Yeah, so like I said, this is a chunk of meat that you gotta cut. If you wanna eat it there, good luck cutting it with their cheapo plastic knives. And of course, good luck not cutting through the foil and getting juice all over your lap. But perhaps that's good?--cause yeah, can't get juice on your lap and thigh and crotch without it being.... juicy right? Maybe not perfectly medium-rare, but I'd say it was just about medium to medium-well, which was fine. It wasn't particularly smokey, but I did like the nice crust outside too. Anyway... LUCKILY I had with me my 4" folder (with a beautiful damascus steel blade btw, if you're into that stuff) which was sharper than f, so yeah I got to eat it. 6/10 2. Pork Baby Back Ribs Half Rack $9.99: It was alright. Not really smokey, and maybe could use a bit more cooking to be more tender, but it was fine. Not much better than reheating Costco pre-made ribs in your over, but whatever. (And like I already said, came unsliced.) 5/10 So.... yeah, that's just about it.
