SweetT's is absolutely, wonderfully warm & inviting inside. Great place for the family, friends, and a intimate date night. Once seated we were quickly greeted by our waiter who was "Johny on the spot"with gettng our drinks and appetizers in. I could easily drive back just for the Crispy fried Brussel sprouts and a Shirly temple alone. I loved how they set up thier restroom area with gender neutral stalls and a big public sink. I even got caught by one of the owners wiping down one side of the sink after finishing washing my hands. He turned to me and asked if would like to come work at the restaurant. Ha! Wish we had known about this amazing spot before! Always busy so reservations help... set in a shopping mall in Windsor it is very unique...a southern/Texas barbecue with amazing food delicious cocktails and excellent service. The choices for dinner are amazing... fried chicken pulled chicken/pork ribs brisket that just falls apart..., plus steaks and amazing sides to go with any thing you choose... we split a mudpie for dessert and there were 5 of us. My wife and I made a trip to Windsor over the weekend to babysit our grandkids while their parents attended a work event. While there, we all went out to dinner at Sweet T's to celebrate my upcoming birthday (which is today, 12/10). My wife made reservations prior to going to Windsor and indicated that we would be celebrating a birthday. When we arrived for our reservation, I was greeted with a warm "Happy Birthday" before being escorted to our table. After being seated, we were greeted by our server, Joslyn, who also wished me a "Happy Birthday" and took our orders. We ordered three strawberry lemonades, one honey ginger spritz, and one STS Pilsner beer. For our entrees, we had two kid's burgers with cheddar cheese, one kid's ribs, one apple salad, and one fried catfish plate. We all enjoyed our dinner, and there were no complaints about the food. Despite the "Happy Birthday" wishes, it was disappointing that they didn't comp a simple dessert for the celebration. The disappointment was compounded after spending $147.37 (plus tip/totaled: $167.37) on the meal, and a $12 dessert seemed too much for the business to absorb as a gesture of customer goodwill. Frankly, we nearly wrote off this place after our last visit in August due to a 4% Kitchen Fee added to supplement kitchen staff wages; however, we gave it another chance. That was the last time! One would expect them to value loyal customers, particularly after bouncing back from the fires, rather than passing on the cost of paying their workers to the customers, which is the management's obligation. Although we have no complaints about Joslyn, who probably adhered to policy, it's disappointing that the management/owners do not demonstrate greater appreciation for the patrons who sustain their business. We have patronized this establishment since its 2019 reopening at the new Windsor location, yet we have decided not to return. The food here is definitely good, but it comes with a hefty price tag. This probably isn't the best spot if you're celebrating something special. Oh, and be prepared to feel like you're pitching in on their payroll costs! read more

Made reservations and checked out menu in advance. Ambiance is nice, friendly staff. I checked out some reviews in advance too, just for conversations sake. We liked the name. Upon arriving, the staff is very attentive - they both greeted us and bid us farewell. Very kind. My son and I daringly ordered the Sweet T's Brussel sprouts for an appetizer, and when the Brussel sprouts arrived, they were surely the finest Brussel sprouts I have ever tasted. Just amazing. The sauce that came with these was a tangy mayonnaise style dip that complimented the appetizer well. My son ordered the fried chicken sandwich and said it was perfect - outstanding. The staff were very gracious in offering him more tea which was nice. I ordered the French Dip with thin sliced Tri Tip. This was very tender, evenly flavored. I have to say the bun for the sandwich was so soft - crispy when it needed to be, and an absolute masterpiece from the bakery! Fantastic! Gotta love sweet t's! Such a great place to take family and friends when celebrating a birthday, holiday or when you are. Just in the mood for some comforting food. The staff is so attentive, accommodating, and friendly. The menu offers so many dishes that definitely remind you of some good home cooking just like grandmas. I love their hush puppies, the chili (which has pieces of brisket in it), the brisket sliders (which literally melts in your mouth) , and their fries which are crunchy on the outside but soft as you bite into them. The restaurant is super clean and diners have a view of the cooks doing their thing in the kitchen. I can't wait to come back to try more of their delicious food! read more

Best to make reservations on open table since it's a popular restaurant. It's my new favorite restaurant now with comfortable seating, extensive menu and cocktails! I tried the fried chicken which was so tender and crispy outside. I probably shouldn't have paired with another fried item which is fried okra but everything tasted so great. Fried okra is crispy and seasoning is great. First time here and I have to say they have the best cocktails I have ever had! My husband and I have been to so many restaurants and love all their cocktails, but the cocktails here are just so good and standout that by far is our number one favorite place with the best cocktails!! I got the What the Duck with a cute little duck and my husband got a basic magarita. Both taste so good and great for pictures as well! I also love how they have the list and pictures of all their cocktails on the ipad. For food, we got the chicken sliders (tastes good but does not stand out as the must try dish for me), side of fries added on garlic permesan, and a fried cat fish plate. The cat fish plate was so good! We both love the sauce and mac and cheese that come with it, and the fish was cooked perfectly. The portion was also big that it's perfect for two of us. We even ordered one to take home and it still tasted good for later! The service was nice and friendly. We love the atmosphere and the decorations a lot. The restaurant is nicely decorated (not too much or too little decoration). One thing is I wish the AC worked better because it was kind of hot inside the restaurant. Our server was wonderfully warm and friendly. All I can say is that we all just loved Isaiah. I brought my friends here because of the delicious food and ambiance. It's upscale, modern, rustic, and chic. I Loved it! I've come here many times for brunch and some delicious lunches. My favorite is the chicken and waffles. If I could, I would be here every Sunday for brunch. Yes, it is that good! Our friends from Brussels loved this spot, raved about the food, and loved our server. He was a joy. So I went back yesterday, and yeah everything still hits. This wonderful lady at the bar said "Get the rib salad, I always get it". So that is exactly what I did, and it did not disappoint. The rib salad had tender pork ribs, it was similar to char siu (Chinese BBQ Pork). The dressing was a sweet and tangy balsamic, it was so good I wish I could've bottled it up and taken it home. The brussel sprouts came with a mayo based sauce; while they had great texture, they were a bit salty. Sadly, I did not save room for dessert, but I will be back for the butter cake and the key lime pie. read more

My only complaint is the spicy margarita felt more like jalapeno extract was added and it took away from the flavor of the actual drink. Normally I like spicy margaritas but this was a bit much. Tuesday evening dinner. 7:00pm reservation. 4 of us. Got seated quickly at a booth next to the bar and kitchen. Actually a good table, out of the noisy and crowded hub-bub of the main dining room. Cocktails: strong, tasty and expensive. Cesar salad: crisp romaine lettuce. Perfect dressing with obvious anchovy flavor. Goodly portion to share with one other person. Pan sauteed Catfish: Moist. Tasty. Kind'a skimpy portion. Sides of mac 'n cheese had a kind'a runny sauce. Collard greens were way too sweet with a balsamic vinegar sauce. Overall, My dinner was just okay. I would not order the catfish again. I guess one comes here for the ribs or fried chicken. The original Sweet T's located on Parker Hill Road in Santa Rosa cooked much more satisfying food. That place burned to the ground in the 2017 fire that destroyed 5,400 buildings. I'm on the fence if I'd ever return to this location. If some one invites me and pays for dinner I would agree, but it's unlikely I'd pay for another meal. read more

I ordered the barbecue dinner and it was awful! The BBQ was like mush. I would never recommend anybody to eat there.

I placed an order to go from Sweet T's a half smoked chicken with coleslaw and mashed potatoes that was supposed to be ready at 7:15 PM. I arrived around that time, paid for my food, and sat in the bar area waiting for the server to bring it out. I went home, enjoyed my meal, and everything was fine. The next day, I checked my bank account and noticed I had been charged twice for $37.10. At first, I thought it was just a mistake or pending authorization, but it turned out I was actually charged again after I had already left--without my authorization. I called Sweet T's and spoke to a girl who said she would have the manager call me back. I waited about three hours and never received a call, so I called again and got ahold of Ann. Instead of trying to help, she answered with attitude. I explained that I had been charged twice for the same meal, and she tried to accuse me of ordering another meal. I clearly told her I only ordered one meal, paid my $37.10, sat at the bar, and waited for my food. She eventually said she would refund the extra $37.10, but I still have not seen that refund posted to my account. I ended up disputing the charge with my bank. What I don't understand is why no one bothered to call me and confirm whether I had placed another order--which I absolutely did not--before taking it upon themselves to charge my debit card again without my permission. That is completely unacceptable and very unprofessional. read more

Went in with our service dog did not allow us to sit at the bar for 1 drink. They offered to sit us outside and said yes. But then they told us oh we can only sit 4 of us not 6. Made me sad because my sister was turning 40 and only wanted to have drinks and food. When I got sad about not being able to sit. While visiting a friend recently, we went to dinner at Sweet T's in Windsor. This restaurant is a Southern food restaurant complete with barbecue, gumbo, hush puppies and deep fried okra. I ordered their halibut dish which was a good sized halibut steak, dusted with Panko and pan seared. It was served on top of cheesy grits with sweet peppers, red onions and jalapeños. While the wait for our food was long (the restaurant was packed) the food was served hot. Our waiter was attentive and made sure our dining experience was a good one. The portions are huge and the others in my party ended up bringing a lot home. I can't recommend this restaurant enough and if you like halibut, you need to try their dish. You won't be disappointed! My husband and I were passing through Santa Rosa and decided to eat at Sweet T's. We had our dog with us as well. We found the service to be friendly and accommodating. The food was crazy delicious. My husband works in the restaurant industry and he is a huge fan of BBQ. He ordered the French dip and a plate of baby back ribs. I enjoyed their fresh and tasty house salad. Every time I've visited Sweet T's, I have not had a bad meal or bad experience. The mac & cheese, the riblets those are all appetizers. My husband is a big eater, but couldn't even finish his. The biscuits come out fresh and hot. The mac & cheese is amazing. Noodles are cooked. Perfect meat is tender. We tend to sit at the bar because it's hard to get seating at times. The bartender was very attentive. My husband's mac & cheese didn't have as much bacon as mine did and he joked about that that I had more bacon thing the bartender walking out with bacon for my husband. read more

First thing I thought was wow this place is really nice! I thought it was more casual in my head. Well it's definitely beautiful inside. We were seated outside which was lovely. Our service was excellent and we enjoyed ourselves a great deal. So here is the meat of it, omg those ribs from the finest beef in the land! They're so good I can't wait to return for more. Food is great, the service you get when you order a meal to go is horrible! Totally unacceptable! I ordered a chicken plate and a barbecue sandwich with two sauces. The incompetent person that packed my meal packed a brisket plate instead of the sandwich. When I brought it to his attention, he caught an attitude and I told him it was supposed to have two sauces. He opened the chicken plate points at that sauce count it as one, and then shows me one other one in the bag! Apparently he didn't understand. The sandwich was supposed to have two sauces and the barbecue plate comes with a sauce.! Then Emily shows up and while I'm trying to explain to her, I already went through it with him so I said let me run and get my phone so I can show you exactly what I ordered and when I come back they've got three sauces in the bag cold fries, cold okra because of course they had it sitting in the bag the whole time they're trying to figure out if they want to give me a sauce! If you are on US 101N in Windsor, California and you'd like to have a late lunch like I did recently, this is a very nice establishment just a few blocks away. It is tucked into a shady, quiet neighborhood shopping center. You can get all kinds of gourmet barbecue but also a Beyond Meat burger and salads. There is a vast array of specialty cocktails on the menu. The staff is quite friendly. This is an award winning restaurant and a favorite of one of my family members. read more
