It's my new favorite restaurant now with comfortable seating, extensive menu and cocktails! I tried the fried chicken which was so tender and crispy outside. First time here and I have to say they have the best cocktails I have ever had! My husband and I have been to so many restaurants and love all their cocktails, but the cocktails here are just so good and standout that by far is our number one favorite place with the best cocktails!! I got the What the Duck with a cute little duck and my husband got a basic magarita. Both taste so good and great for pictures as well! I also love how they have the list and pictures of all their cocktails on the ipad. For food, we got the chicken sliders (tastes good but does not stand out as the must try dish for me), side of fries added on garlic permesan, and a fried cat fish plate. The cat fish plate was so good! We both love the sauce and mac and cheese that come with it, and the fish was cooked perfectly. The portion was also big that it's perfect for two of us. We even ordered one to take home and it still tasted good for later! The service was nice and friendly. We love the atmosphere and the decorations a lot. The restaurant is nicely decorated (not too much or too little decoration). One thing is I wish the AC worked better because it was kind of hot inside the restaurant. While visiting a friend recently, we went to dinner at Sweet T's in Windsor. This restaurant is a Southern food restaurant complete with barbecue, gumbo, hush puppies and deep fried okra. I ordered their halibut dish which was a good sized halibut steak, dusted with Panko and pan seared. It was served on top of cheesy grits with sweet peppers, red onions and jalapeños. While the wait for our food was long (the restaurant was packed) the food was served hot. Our waiter was attentive and made sure our dining experience was a good one. The portions are huge and the others in my party ended up bringing a lot home. I can't recommend this restaurant enough and if you like halibut, you need to try their dish. You won't be disappointed! Food is great, the service you get when you order a meal to go is horrible! Totally unacceptable! I ordered a chicken plate and a barbecue sandwich with two sauces. The incompetent person that packed my meal packed a brisket plate instead of the sandwich. When I brought it to his attention, he caught an attitude and I told him it was supposed to have two sauces. He opened the chicken plate points at that sauce count it as one, and then shows me one other one in the bag! Apparently he didn't understand. The sandwich was supposed to have two sauces and the barbecue plate comes with a sauce.! Then Emily shows up and while I'm trying to explain to her, I already went through it with him so I said let me run and get my phone so I can show you exactly what I ordered and when I come back they've got three sauces in the bag cold fries, cold okra because of course they had it sitting in the bag the whole time they're trying to figure out if they want to give me a sauce! The service and the aggravation is not worth the money spent! but Emily will sure give you all the sorrys you could possibly fit in your pocket!!!! truly not worth the money or the aggravation or the trip over there! needed to come back and edit this post to say there was so much salt on the fried okra. It's not edible never mind the fact it's cold. I called Emily and of course she had another sorry, and explained that they have always salted their fried okra! I've never seen fried okra salted like McDonald's french fries.!!! go on Instagram look at their videos... tells you a lot about the people serving your food. Went in with our service dog did not allow us to sit at the bar for 1 drink. They offered to sit us outside and said yes. But then they told us oh we can only sit 4 of us not 6. Made me sad because my sister was turning 40 and only wanted to have drinks and food. When I got sad about not being able to sit. My only complaint is the spicy margarita felt more like jalapeno extract was added and it took away from the flavor of the actual drink. Normally I like spicy margaritas but this was a bit much. So I went back yesterday, and yeah everything still hits. This wonderful lady at the bar said "Get the rib salad, I always get it". So that is exactly what I did, and it did not disappoint. The rib salad had tender pork ribs, it was similar to char siu (Chinese BBQ Pork). The dressing was a sweet and tangy balsamic, it was so good I wish I could've bottled it up and taken it home. The brussel sprouts came with a mayo based sauce; while they had great texture, they were a bit salty. It's upscale, modern, rustic, and chic. I Loved it! I've come here many times for brunch and some delicious lunches. My favorite is the chicken and waffles. My husband and I were passing through Santa Rosa and decided to eat at Sweet T's. We had our dog with us as well. We found the service to be friendly and accommodating. The food was crazy delicious. My husband works in the restaurant industry and he is a huge fan of BBQ. He ordered the French dip and a plate of baby back ribs. I enjoyed their fresh and tasty house salad. Omg- this is NOT your standard Bbq/southern food joint. While located on the same strip as a Safeway, this swanky little haven calls to the family as well as the formal with beautiful dining area, classy bar, and perfect southern style covered patio, complete with slow moving fans and lush plants. Go in the evening and sit on the patio so the sun can just make your food flow! The menu was fantastic and fresh and easily accommodated my food sensitivities. This is a difficult review to write. The food was good. Some of it a bit overpriced - for example, a small side of mac-n-cheese is $7.00. The portion was about 1/2 cup. The service was great. Angela was friendly, asked the right questions when taking our order and checked in. The downside - the fees. I had called to make a reservation for our group of 5 adults and one toddler. During the call it was mentioned that groups over 5 people are considered to be large parties. This prompted me to ask if they do an automatic gratuity. The person I spoke with said yes - 20% for large parties. When the bill came, it had the 20% auto-gratuity. BUT - It also had a "Kitchen Living Wage" fee of 6%. This was not mentioned when I had called, granted I had specifically asked about gratuity, but it is disappointing that information was not offered as part of the answer. I want to reiterate that I would have tipped Angela at least 20% anyway. So I have no issue with the amount of the tip. I don't like that it was mandatory and I definitely don't agree with the 6% on top of that. read more

I was so happy when Sweet T's found a new place to reopen. Yummy, yummy, yummy! And the service is on point! Just bring cash to avoid a credit card fee and tip generously because it's worth it! Tuesday evening dinner. 7:00pm reservation. 4 of us. Got seated quickly at a booth next to the bar and kitchen. Actually a good table, out of the noisy and crowded hub-bub of the main dining room. Cocktails: strong, tasty and expensive. Cesar salad: crisp romaine lettuce. Perfect dressing with obvious anchovy flavor. Goodly portion to share with one other person. Pan sauteed Catfish: Moist. Tasty. Kind'a skimpy portion. Sides of mac 'n cheese had a kind'a runny sauce. Collard greens were way too sweet with a balsamic vinegar sauce. Overall, My dinner was just okay. I would not order the catfish again. I guess one comes here for the ribs or fried chicken. The original Sweet T's located on Parker Hill Road in Santa Rosa cooked much more satisfying food. That place burned to the ground in the 2017 fire that destroyed 5,400 buildings. I'm on the fence if I'd ever return to this location. If some one invites me and pays for dinner I would agree, but it's unlikely I'd pay for another meal. read more

Every time I've visited Sweet T's, I have not had a bad meal or bad experience. The mac & cheese, the riblets those are all appetizers. My husband is a big eater, but couldn't even finish his. The biscuits come out fresh and hot. The mac & cheese is amazing. Noodles are cooked. Perfect meat is tender. We tend to sit at the bar because it's hard to get seating at times. The bartender was very attentive. My husband's mac & cheese didn't have as much bacon as mine did and he joked about that that I had more bacon thing the bartender walking out with bacon for my husband. read more

My son and I come here to celebrate our birthdays as it is a place we have been going to for a number of years as their Fried Chicken dinner is second to none we travel about 1 1/2hrs to get here and as its going to be a tradition. Last night we arrived at the resturant at 6pm at the time of our reservation and was seated right a way. Every thing was good up to taking our order and we had the same dish Fried Chicken Dinner and I wanted the fantastic cream corn and to my surprise it was not offered anymore big let down so I just had the garlic mashed potatoes and my son had the cold slaw which I'm not a fan of so I did not have another side. Dinner came and my sons plate had 4 pieces of chicken including Chicken Breast and mine came with 1 chicken wing 1 drum stick and I don't know what the other pieces were but looked like just two chunks of chicken leftover something. The Chicken was fine at best but my plate was different than my sons. I did not want to start something with the waitress, so I let it go. We had no drinks just water and no desert but had a $88.00 dollar bill not including tip, come on I could have gone to a take out place and gotten more Chicken than I got here. So on the way home I stopped at Oliver's Market has great fried chicken that I bought to satisfy my hunger. I guess that I will not be recommending Sweet T's any more. read more

It is tucked into a shady, quiet neighborhood shopping center. You can get all kinds of gourmet barbecue but also a Beyond Meat burger and salads. We made reservations on a Sunday at 5pm. To no surprise it was pretty booked. We sat outside, fortunately they have heaters outside so you couldn't tell that it was 50 degrees outside. I was intially a little bit nervous to sit outside because of the car noise and it being cold, but sweet t's does a wonderful job at ensuring that it is warm outside and have somehow managed to block out the street noise. Our server, Anthony was amazing! From the moment we were sat he came over and offered us drinks. We kept it simple with some diet cokes and placed our order. I went with the 2 way smoker combo & my bf went with the pulled pork sandwich. Both plates came out quickly, the tri tip was cooked to a perfect medium rare, the potatoes were tasty and so was the Mac and cheese. The biscuit comes with a lovely honey butter that balances the biscuit perfectly. My boyfriend's pulled pork sandwich was also very good. The coleslaw had a good taste and crunch (very fresh). Anthony was an amazing server, not only was he extremely nice but I noticed him touching tables with water (very important) and offering refills. He also checked in with our table often to see if we needed anything else. Amazing! I did not get the name of the employee dropping off our food at the table but he was also very pleasant. He ensured that we had all the correct sauces and asked if we needed anything else. We did not try dessert because we were already full. The servings are pretty large! I've come here a few times and enjoy the food every time! This place always gets packed, even with reservations there's a little bit of a wait, so be sure to call head or reserve online! I love southern food and can't believe I didn't know about this place until recently. The fried chicken platter is amazing -- just perfect with crispy, flavorful chicken. It comes with mashed potatoes and slaw but I usually swap them for Mac & cheese + collard greens. Don't forget to ask for some Louisiana hot sauce also! I've also tried the BBQ/smoked items as well like brisket, sausage, etc. The brisket is good, meaty and flavorful, I wasn't as much a fan of the sausage however. As for drinks, I've tried a few but would have to say the Poloma Romero and Orange Creamsicle were good, I unfortunately wasn't a fan of Better Together. Overall, drinks are very strong haha (which is good). The service is always friendly, attentive, and overall great. Like I said, there's usually a bit of a wait (one time I had to wait almost 30-45 mins WITH a reservation), but last night luckily we were able to be seated right away for 6:30pm dinner reservations.
