The combinations of flavors, such and the lemon and ginger, blended smoothly with the chocolate I was shocked that those combinations could come out that well. I initially had a taste for a brownie or a cookie but when I spoke to Chef Andrea on the phone, she recommended her Midnight Passion to do the trick. Well she was right! My brownie craving was curbed and I was one satisfied customer. Sweet vegan has great customer service. I called them on the fly, told them what I was looking for and they literally took the time and had patience to figure out might best suit my needs. Chef Andrea was very warm and engaging on the phone and in person. OH MY GANACHE-NESS!!!! My boyfriend knows that I am a dark chocolate fiend and that I've had difficulty finding purely vegan chocolate as many dark chocolates have or are made in facilities with dairy. I bought Sweet Vegan Chocolates to have delivered to my in-law's home in NYC for their 65th Anniversary. When I called to place the order, I was able to speak directly with the owner, Andrea, who was super helpful and very friendly. She helped me to pick the perfect gift for them and the box and bag were festive for the special occasion. My mother-in-law said that "the best part of the day were the chocolate truffles...oh my goodness, they were heaven on earth!" Wow !!! If you are a lover of chocolate these dreamy truffles are for you !!! Bursting with flavor super smooth and light. The four flavors I tried today were luscious Lemon it was sunshine in your mouth the perfect balance of lemon and chocolate. Next up was Spicy Ginger it had the perfect punch of ginger. Then was Midnight passion a dreamy morsel of creamy cloud like goodness and last was Energizing Espresso the balance of coffee and chocolate was divine!! I received a box of the Dreamy Bites as a wedding gift and tried my best to make them last at least two days before consuming them all. They were indeed very dreamy! The espresso and ginger flavors were my favorite but they were all delicious and my husband I savored every bite! The only slight complaint I have is that the chocolates that arrived in the box didn't look the same as the chocolates shown in the box photo on the Sweet Vegan website, they didn't look quite as fancy as I thought they would. I just wish that part was advertised a bit more accurately. This however did not at all take away from the delicious flavor or how much I enjoyed them! read more

I got the chance to meet Andrea and buy some of her chocolates. It was so lovely getting to speak with her and see her passion first hand. The Energizing Espresso became an immediate favorite of mine. As a lifelong vegetarian with a lot of vegan friends, I've tried lots of vegan chocolates but am always a bit disappointed with how they're sometimes a bit grainy in texture and bland. The delivery was on time and the service was amazing. Very easy communication as I am from Los Angeles and very quick responses from Andrea. As someone who has a nut allergy and vegan diet, I finally feel seen! The texture is consistent, the flavors are artful and explode the moment you bite into the chocolate. My favorite flavor was passion considering I am big lemon and ginger fan. Even if you are not looking for alternative chocolates, the chocolates are impeccable. Better than any major commercial brand. The packaging is full of love and care, Andrea the owner is kind and thoughtful. Chef Andrea is a chocolate fairy, she thought my boyfriend and me how to make a Raspberry Royal Ganache and dipped Strawberries in Raspberry Royals Drizzle. It came out so masterful, I couldn't believe we were making it ourselves! I have ordered from Sweet Vegan on several occasions and their chocolates are the best! Having once lived in Switzerland you become very disenchanted with the chain chocolates you encounter here in the states, so it was very nice to have a real option. Amazing flavours that you don't typically get from or find when you're looking for plant-based chocolates (I find most chocolate shops that have a vegan line have a very limited range of flavours/fillings).
