In honor of Hispanic Heritage month I wanted to write about this amazing little shop in East Harlem that has the best tres leches I've ever had outside of home made. The owner Ronaldo Felipe is originally from the Dominican Republic and used to help his grandmother make tres leches which was the inspiration behind opening up his shop. While I love a good story and supporting a minority owned business the main thing I care about is the taste. The tres leches from here is always delicious, moist and just the perfect amount of sweet. My absolute favorites are the guava and passion fruit options. If you've never tried tres leches then this should be the place to do it but be aware you might become addicted.

Heard about the cake from my friends a couple of times and finally had a slice of the tres leches! They had different flavors but I got the original. For someone who is lactose intolerant, this was worth risking it! Haha Cake is super moist and was soaked in this sweet milk moisture. The cream on top was light.Perfect dessert! They sell other cakes as well and would love to try them!

Comfy vibes. Many tres leches options. Many flavors to choose from. They even make huge tres leches cakes for parties which was very interesting to see. Service was vibrant and friendly. I'd love to her business prosper. When in the area, I'll definitely be back for more. We also tried the regular and guava options all very delicious.

YES! i finally got to go here. cuz whenever i decide to run it's always a sunday bruh. and then the bakery is closed and then i can't get the cakes that everyone raves about. anyways i got a passionfruit one and then a cuatro leche one because people said it was good. i liked the cuatro leche better than the passionfruit. the passionfruit tasted too curdy like it was too sweet and strong. my friend got the tiramisu and it literally just tasted like straight tiramisu. anyways i honestly like the tres leches here and i would go again if i am ever in the area but it is SO out of the way for me which sucks but isn't their fault. 4.5 stars!

The women working here is amazing and kind. Please be patient with them when it gets busy. the service is 10/10. small place, no seating. they work quick so if there's a line, don't get discouraged . in the last 3 years, i have tried all their tres leches flavor, guava is my all time favorite.

Can they make a big cake for 20 people? and would the milk be separate from the cake so you can pour it over when its cut? help and thank you.

They can make different size cakes and also tiered cakes. They will give extra milks on the side if you request.

The Mango and Pistachio looked so realistic and mirrored the flavors perfectly. I love the size of their cakes which are perfect to share with a group of 4. I indulged in their Black Sesame Mochi Cake and Blueberry Chiffon Cake which both have the fluffiest sponge cake base, a fluffy vibrant cream, and fresh ingredients and fruit. Give their drinks a try too. I enjoy their matcha here! The Traffic Lights is a strawberry matcha with a mango cream top. And I also tried their Black Sesame Latte but substituted the espresso for matcha and loved this customized pairing. FYI, there is no bathroom!

It felt like items weren't made with care and mass produced at a factory or something. I went 10 minutes before they closed and there was still 10+ of each dessert. I'm not convinced that they will dispose of them. Even if they do, it means they didn't do a good job in forecasting demand especially after being in business for multiple years. I ordered mango and yuzu. Both were too sweet and had one dimensional flavor and textures, not refreshing per their stated flavors. Even if their appearances take effort, they don't look pretty enough for me to forgive what goes in my mouth. I'm used to having patisseries with many layers and elements. Mango's sponge probably only took up 20% of the bottom, because I barely had bites of it. Most of my bites didn't have any. I didn't like how liquid the filling was. It didn't exactly ooze out but just melted into a puddle in my mouth. Yuzu looks pretty with the pink and yellow glaze, but it didn't go with the realistic fruit theme. I chose it for the flavor combination which is strawberry, yuzu, and guava. This was slightly better in terms of flavor variety in the mouth. The flower on top had a weird off putting flavor. The bottom crispy rice apparently is supposed to be chocolate but it came out plain. It was tasteless anyway, so not effective in terms of flavor or texture.

I had to run to work after an appointment so I ordered for takeout. The person taking my order was friendly. I opted for the Lumberjack and a black cold brew. I received the drink very quickly, with a short wait for the sandwich. While waiting, one member of the staff stocking up supplies on the side started chatting with me and then she offered to check up on my sandwich. She came out with it shortly thereafter. She was very friendly and helpful. The sandwich held up well during my 15-minute commute to the office. It is a really indulgent sandwich, with each bite revealing the sweetness and butteriness of the maple crueller, the saltiness of the thick cut bacon, and the savoriness of the cheese and the eggs as the yolks popped. I sipped the cold brew in between bites to cut the richness. It was a very satisfying meal. The Lumberjack is not something I would recommend you eat every day, but it's good as an occasional treat. In the past I've ordered lunch from Daily Provisions via delivery (the "Chefy" salad and the chicken milanese with arugula salad are my favorites), but I might start adding other breakfast sandwiches to the mix.

I had never heard of the place before, but I was happy to give it a try -- and I'm so glad I did. From the moment you walk in, the experience feels special. The place was bustling with people, and everyone seemed happy and excited -- from the customers to the team behind the counter and the baristas. The cookie case was overflowing with so many amazing choices that it was hard to decide! I ended up getting the Rocky Road cookie, a Double Chocolate Chip cookie, a Two Chip Chocolate Chip cookie, and a blueberry muffin to enjoy for breakfast the next morning. The service was absolutely impeccable, and everyone I interacted with was warm, friendly, and delightful. When I got home, I had half of the Rocky Road cookie with a cup of tea, and it was incredible. The cookie was large and chunky but still perfectly enjoyable -- not heavy or overwhelming. It literally melted in my mouth. The chocolate was rich and smooth, and every bite was just delicious. The next morning, I tried the blueberry muffin, and it was just as impressive. It was light and airy, not overly sweet like many blueberry muffins can be. It truly felt like a breakfast pastry. The blueberries tasted fresh and burst with flavor in every bite.
