I was really satisfied with my bowl from Sweet greens, I got the garlic steak , sweet potatoes and broccoli . I requested for the crispy onions to be added on top. After being away for a week for work I wanted something on the healthier side and I definitely found that meal at sweet greens. One pass through Quincy Market on my visit to Boston was all I needed to know this light lunch girl wasn't eating there. Pulled out my phone and saw there was a sweetgreen location not too far away. I used to eat there occasionally back when I lived in Chicago and knew it would be a better option. I created my own salad (spinach/romaine) with chicken, apples, sweet potatoes, avocado, and pesto vinaigrette and despite saying yes to the staff suggestion of adding more dressing, this thing was dry enough to be bunny food. Had the added bonus of listening to the most painful conversation of somebody really fired up to "partner" with the person they were meeting up with to gain some great "synergies". Uyyyyy. I think if they just put less lettuce really, it wouldn't require so much dressing and would taste a lot better. Next time I would request that. I placed a pickup order at this location on Sunday afternoon around 1:30 PM. While they usually put the pick up orders on the shelf by alphabetical order, it was just left on the counter next to the cashier today. This was a bit confusing as it was outside the normal process you usually experience at Sweetgreen. I got the Kale Cesar with chicken and it was pretty on par with any other location. I added sweet potato and quinoa to mine to help it be a bit more filling. The inside of the store was a bit messy. For example, the trash can was completely full on one side of the store and I had to walk over to the trashcan on the other side to throw my stuff out after my meal. It wasn't a big deal, but I would expect that the trash wouldn't be overflowing on a day where the store isn't very busy. I have been a fun of sweet greens for some time but lately I've been disappointed. I am vegetarian and usually order the shroomami bowl but I've grown tired of the same thing and wanted to try some of the other bowls. They have an option to substitute protein which I was very excited to try but every time that I order tofu as substitute for meat, the order will get delivered with the meat instead. I also have friends with allergies who have asked for things like nuts not to be in bowls but that will get disregarded in the order. Very disappointing. I was a delivery driver for Sweetgreen (independent contractor) for 5 years and delivered to basically the same places. They sold there delivery side of the business to a 3rd party. I was paid $500 Mon-Fri and once the new company took over the delivery routes and drivers (over 650 drivers nationwide) we were paid half what we usually were making each week. Of course I was never notified of the pay decrease until 8 shifts. I really do hope this company goes downhill! I wish nothing but bad karma to come to them, big investors, CEO and the owners. You had altered my livelihood overnight and that will never be forgotten. This place is more miss than hit. Few weeks ago I went to this location and found hair in my food. not a good start for a first experience I tried again a week or so later and the salads were fine. Yesterday however I ordered multiple meals, and the Pickled onions were rancid, like really bad. Had been left out for far too long and definitely not edible. Soon as i put one in my mouth immediately i spit it out. Dont think i've ever tasted anything so vile. Also The balsamic vinaigrette I ordered came with Balsamic Vinegar instead I think as it definitely wasnt what i ordered. I think quality control is an issue and maybe take some safety measures so hair doesnt get in peoples food or ppl dont eat expired items. I go to many Sweetgreen's and am a regular at three other locations i visit weekly which ive never had any issues with in years, they are all 5 stars. This particular SG though I am going to skip, ive tried only 3 times and had 2 bad experiences yet this one could have made me really sick, hopefully they get better in the future read more

Wow. Super popular at lunch time on weekdays. We waited about 15 minutes with easily 20+ people in front of us. The lines moved quickly. The people working were flying!! Typical bowls start at 9.95 and go up to 11.95 with extras costing more. There is a separate process with an additional 5 people working strictly in online orders which was crazy busy too. Salad was huge. Way more than I am going to eat. Flavors are delicious. Everything looks and tastes fresh. Yes, kale can actually taste good if you mix it up with enough other stuff and load it with dressing. I got my salad to go for dinner and watched the young lady behind the counter add the ingredients and the dressing, mixing it all up nicely before putting it back into the recyclable salad bowl, adding a cover and I was on my way. The Harvest Bowl is a warm salad and had plenty of chicken and apples and goat cheese to make it interesting. And it's huge - enough that I was able to split it in half to make two meals. The food is fine be it a bit overpriced, but good lord no one and I mean no one speaks basic English at this location at any time of day. I don't mean to be rude. I whole heartedly support immigration and giving new immigrants jobs, but being in a food service job in the US where everything is made to order should require some basic English skills. This may not be the best job for someone new to the US. I've gone to this location dozens of times but I am done. I just can't anymore. Ordering a simple salad is a long frustrating work out, especially if you need any adjustments like Kale vs spring mix or double of something. I speak as slow as possible but end up pointing at the pictures and the food containers every visit and hold up fingers for serving sizes. Even this method has its issues many days. read more

I visited this location for the first time a few weeks ago as it has been so busy since it opened. There always seems to be a crazy line (same for all sweetgreens, I suppose) but it moves pretty quickly. I ordered their seasonal salad with brussel sprouts, which was awful. It had a strange chemical taste and I had to avoid eating them after giving a couple a try. Most of their salads have a lingering aftertaste and while their falafel is good, I always feel a bit sick after eating it. I really want to love sweetgreen and keep going back to give it a try. It was a pretty long line around 12pm and we had to wait about 10 minutes before we got to place our order. During my wait, I was looking at the menu and noticed how pricey the salads and bowls were. Nothing really stood out besides the harvest bowl or customizing your own bowl. I was saying to myself that I made the wrong choice coming here. Sweetgreen use to be so busy before COVID with lines out the door at this location at lunch time and let me tell you they still have an abundance of orders even if it's mostly take out. I came here after I did some shopping downtown and I was yet to be disappointed the pictures don't do justice because they mix up your salad dressing after they put it in but if you could take a picture before you can see all the goodness they put into their eco friendly bowls it would be beautiful. I think sweetgreen has a great concept as far as fresh produce and putting that into a fast food kind of style restaurant. They don't just offer salads but also offer warm bowls and plates if you want to add an extra element into what your eating. The price is about right for what you get it ranges from about $9-$13 but it is a great portion of food that can last you hours and even though it may seem like a lot it is a healthier version of what you might can get on the go anywhere else. Whether if you want to try one of their own menu items they have created or want to do the create your own bowl option it's a must try. Their food is actually good and healthy, but their service (especially if you order online) is very bad. I ordered online during my lunch break and arrived there on the time by order was supposed to be ready. I have to wait an extra 30 minutes just to get my order and they forgot one of the dressings I ordered. There were about 20 people waiting just like me and there was absolutely no one who was assigned to talk to any customers, so you are left thinking "did someone just jack my salad?" , "Who do I ask if they even still have my order?", "What is life and why am I here?". Eventually you will choose to either be a coward and wait with a pouting face until your lunch hour ends and you need to go to work or to be an asshole and angrily grab the attention of a distant employee and ask for a refund just to get some salad. I'm a bit picky with food and I was hesitant when I saw the meal options but was happy to see that they had a build your own option. There's a place back home that similar that offers unlimited options, so it was a bummer that the build your own only came with four toppings and dressing, but overall after adding chicken my meal only came out to be a little over $10 with tax so I felt like I got a pretty good value. This place is great for lunch. The salads are around $10 (a little on the pricey side) but it's totally worth it. They tend to have long lines during the lunch hour but they keep the line moving steadily. My go to item on the menu is the Spicy Sabzi. They COVERED my salad in caesar dressing. It was sooo gross. I get mistakes are going to happen, but this salad had so much caesar dressing on it that it was inedible.
