We had a reservation made in advance which was a must as it was very busy. The service was super friendly and kind! The food was delicious and good portion sizes. We ordered the afternoon tea set which was beautiful however it was advertised in a bird cage tier set but when they served our set it was in an average tier set which was fine. The only other thing that was a little disappointing is that the afternoon tea set is supposed to come with tea and our server never brought out tea which is supposed to be included when ordering that menu item. Wow what a gorgeous restaurant in the Seaport Coquette is! I have always wanted to dine here but never had a chance until now. We stopped in for a drink and an appetizer and I was so impressed by the ambiance of this place. The bartender was very knowledgeable and helpful which was very nice. I ordered their Life in Pink cocktail and my husband had their signature drink. We also had their Spring Rolls to start. I came to this restaurant to celebrate my 3-year anniversary with my girlfriend and had high hopes for the evening. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing on multiple levels. When we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty. Despite this, the host seated us in a corner near a window with curtains, while clearly better seats with nicer décor and flowers sat open throughout the dining room. What made this particularly uncomfortable was noticing a pattern: my girlfriend and I are both Asian, and we were seated next to two other Asian women already in the corner. Shortly after, a white couple who arrived after us was walked to one of the nicer center seats. Then, 15 minutes later, another Asian couple was guided to the open table directly beside us. I want to be fair and acknowledge I cannot say with certainty this was intentional, but the pattern was impossible to ignore and left us feeling unwelcome on what was supposed to be a special night. The service continued to fall short from there. With the restaurant still mostly empty, it took 15 to 20 minutes before our waitress came to take our order. I also noticed the white couple nearby was checked on twice before our table had been seen even once. The most frustrating part of the night involved the anniversary cake I had pre-ordered through the reservation system, which I had specifically noted was for a 3-year anniversary. After our meal, the check was brought out without any mention of the cake. I had to go up and ask about it myself. The waitress seemed surprised, checked her system, confirmed the order was there, and told me it would be out in 5 minutes. I waited another 30 minutes with no update before I got up and walked toward her myself. Only when she saw me approaching did she come over to let me know the cake was still defrosting. When it finally arrived, it was still frozen and nearly impossible to cut or eat. This was supposed to be a meaningful celebration. Between the seating experience, the slow and uneven service, and a pre-ordered anniversary cake arriving frozen after a 30-minute wait, the evening was a real letdown. We came here the other night to meet a friend, who thought we would like this cocktail bar and he was correct. When we arrived, they were fully booked out and the wait time was over an hour for a table, but thankfully we were able to snag some seats at the bar. The ambiance of this place was wonderful with dim lighting, really nice tables and a great bar area. For drinks we ordered the La pistola and the love potion #9, and all of the drinks were complex and very well made. I would definitely come back here again the next time I'm in Boston. read more

Just gorgeous! Huge booths and tables in a very large space. The food was amazing. We especially loved the salmon, autumn vegetables and Brussels sprouts. Unfortunately for our visit the service was very slow. We waited over 20 minutes for dirty dishes to be removed and then the check. So my experience here was overall positive, inside is beautifully decorated. The restaurant is actually inside a hotel which I didn't know. We had reservations and were seated right away. It was a week night so it was far from crowded. I ordered a steak medium well and it came out medium rare, I asked them to cook it longer and instead they made me a new steak which was a generous offer but resulted in extending our meal significantly. We decided to split the sweet sausage pizza and the lamb meatballs between the two of us which was the perfect amount. We were both able to get 2 slices of pizza and 2 lamb meatballs. Coquette is definitely one of the prettiest restaurants in Boston - it's perfect for a girls night out or date night. It's also conveniently linked to the Omni Hotel, just take a left from the main lobby entrance. In terms of food, we really enjoyed the majority of our dishes. The brussel sprouts were perfectly roasted with a tinge of tanginess. We also couldn't consider it a proper meal without getting croquettes from Coquette. They were crispy and filled with creamy potato goodness inside. The sausage pizza was yummy- it was crispy, savory, and filled with melty cheesy goodness. The only reason I'm docking a point is because they gave us the wrong pizza even though we repeated our order twice. We had to wait a long time to get the right one and the waiter was nonchalant about the mistake. Despite the pizza, Coquette is still at least a 4 star. It's a tad expensive, but you're paying for delicious food and a beautiful experience. You honestly can't go wrong with any of the restaurants by the COJE group. The background music was playing at the right volume. Coquette is a beautiful restaurant, having been open for over three years. Recently they did an update on their menu. One of the most important things for a great meal is to have a great server. Enrique, who worked my table, has been on staff since the opening. So he knew the menu cold and offered great suggestions. I started with the Borek Spring Rolls, which were delightful. Enrique said the Duck Chichons is another great starter to try. For my entrée, I went with the Flat Iron Steak. Tender, flavorful and sliced. Perfectly cooked. I heard raves for the Brussels Sprouts and they were worthy of recognition. Loved the spicy agilata, pecorino and calabrain chili crumb. It was a large serving, that I only could finish half myself. For dessert, I went with the Pistachio & Almond, with frozen pistachio mousse, almond cake and Cherry Garcia ice cream. Yum. The presentation includes some flamed toasted meringue. The cocktails are worth the price of admission. We ordered a Life in a Pink and La Pistola. My boyfriend liked the La Pistola but it was a little too smoky for my liking. The Life in Pink was the perfect combination of gin and rose. Slightly sweet but not overpowering. Overall the experience was great. Everything was truly so delicious. I opted for the dry aged burger which was one of the best tasting things I've ever eaten. It was hot, hearty, and was complimented very well by the hot cherry pepper mayo. The bun was to die for. The frites on the side were deliciously seasoned, and the sauce to accompany those was very nice as well. We split the Double Chocolate Torte for dessert which was a very interesting combination of chocolate slices, mousse, and guava. It wasn't what I would expect, but it worked very well.
