This little bakery is a gem. In addition to sweet confections, they offer a few savory items as well, which I always appreciate. I had a chicken salad sandwich which is served in a croissant with lettuce ac tomato. The chicken salad was pretty good with decent sized chunks of tasty chicken. I also had a coffee that was quite good; they use Stumptown. The woman was working alone, so she completed one order before taking the next so it took a bit, but she was kind and attentive. I'll be honest. Service was amazing. She was extremely sweet. The treats were pretty awful! In my personal opinion, it tasted as if everything was frozen and brought in from somewhere and then served. Nothing had a homemade taste to it. The jalapeño scone was a 5/10. I added a little bit of clover honey to it, and that boost the taste overall but not by much. It was definitely underwhelming. there was a chocolate tart, my wife enjoyed it and she gave it 7/10.. I personally thought it was maybe a 4/10. There was a crème brûlée medallion... and it was 2/10. I was really excited for that one and it turned out to be the worst one. Ultimately, I thought this was gonna be a great place, but it just didn't turn out to be that way. I don't think I'll be giving it a second try but again it could just be me. I've tried the chocolate crossiant $5.50, very good Cupcakes: I appreciate the none generic buttercream topping. Cake was a bit dry but still delicious I would pass on the mousse desserts for $8, BUT it is worth trying, I don't regret it. The coffee cake was also good but I'm use to other versions of it. Stopped by the other day to check out their cheesecake (as that is what my husband wants for his birthday) First surprise was that there was NOTHING in their display case I wanted (which is not like me, what being a "sweet-a-holic" and all-I never leave a bakery without buying a cookie at least) It just all looked rather unappealing to me. But I bought a piece of their (not cheap) cheesecake to see if this was the place to buy for his party cake-and NOPE, it wasn't. This was my first time here and my husband and I tried a lemon cupcake, vanilla cupcake, strawberry mousse cake and an order of beignets. Now onto the review: Cupcakes: the flavor of the cake is good but the cake itself is incredibly DRY and way too dense. And the frosting is bland and tastes like something you would get from the store. And when I say bland I mean has no flavor whatsoever except maybe a shortening grease flavor not even butter. It's really disgusting and we didn't even finish the cupcakes after trying them. Based on how the cupcakes were we will never buy cupcakes or a cake from here. Beignets: were the fruit filled ones and honestly they were also very dense and dry. We would not purchase those again either. The saving grace of this visit was the strawberry mousse cake which was actually very good. Tart, flavorful and beautifully decorated. I have tried mousse cake before and was a bit mediocre on it but this place changed my mind. And the mousse cake is the only thing I would purchase from here again. read more

My hazelnut crunch bar was 10/10. They had many gluten free options for my friend. Service was not exactly fast but this is not the type of place you'd usually be in a rush at so it was no big deal. I visit Sweetly almost daily, and I have to say they wonderful in every way! The staff are kind and patient, and always do their very best to help or recommend another store if they haven't got quite what you are looking for. They listen to their customers and care about your opinion. They are constantly updating their menu and have some of the very best ( if not the best desserts and sandwiches in Battle Ground) The coffee and tea are great, and very important to some, they have a marvellous selection of Gluten free products, made by a certified gluten free kitchen. We discovered Sweetly a month ago while house shopping. Great coffee, pastry and sandwiches so we knew we'd be back. My birthday was this week, 54th, not a huge milestone. But I wanted something special so we headed to Sweetly to see what they had. Growing up Grandma always made a Coconut Cake for my birthday, so they hold very fond memories. I'm a Southern boy who owes Grandma an apology because this is the best Coconut Cake I have ever eaten. It's AMAZING. Not too sweet, great butter texture in the frosting, and the most incredible balance of moisture and density I have had. From their other pastries I knew they were a great choice, now I'm hooked. So, so, so delicious. They offer both sweet and savory goodness. The deserts we got were the cheesecake brownie (or cream cheese brownie?), lemon bar, and caramel something. So decadent and hits a sweet tooth cravings well. The inside area was very clean and the bathroom was very nice. I am definitely going back. I am on my moon cycle and this hit the spot. I highly recommend people to bring this home to there loved ones who are craving sweets. It's hard not to buy everything! Parking was also plentiful on a Saturday around noon. I was very unsatisfied with my experience here. My friend and I were very excited to try some sweets. I got the confetti cupcake and she got the s'mores tart. The tart was very interesting, and did not taste like a s'more. The chocolate was not very pleasant and the tart had no s'mores flavors. The cupcake, was even more atrocious. The cake was very dense, wet, and flavorless. The frosting tasted like shortening and had no flavor! Very disappointed. I'd rather make my own cupcakes from a box. read more
