Loved this place. Located 12 or so miles off I5 I came specifically for the coffee flight. You can go in back or walk up the steep stairs to what was a church in the past. The flights were hot chocolate, energy drinks, and 2 coffee options (seasonal or standard). I got the seasonal which had 3 coffees and 1 energy drink. The banana was fantastic (and I normally do not like banana flavored things), thin mint, & pistachio/white chocolate. The staff was fast and very friendly. I will be back asap. read more

Decided to check out this place because they had a vegan breakfast sandwich. It was pretty good: bagel with sausage patty, cheese, and a hashbrown (phenomenal idea to add). The coffee however was not my favorite. It had a burnt taste to it and I did not end up finishing it. If you're looking for a breakfast spot, I would recommend this place because they have nice seating options, but maybe grab your coffee elsewhere. read more

Food is AMAZING here if you order it the way they have on their menu - I got a classic Sammy with French toast bagel and fancy cream cheese - maple. SO GOOD!! Better yet, I ordered the wrong drink thinking the huckleberry was the blue one in the picture and the staff was so sweet to make me the drink I actually wanted even though it was me who messed up! So nice of her to do that! God bless this place and the nice ladies who work here : ) - also it's very cute decoration inside and nice seating. Best bagel breakfast sandwiches! Definitely mine and my husband's go to when we want a quick breakfast while we are out. I always get the classic with bacon and a Parmesan bagel, it comes with cream cheese on it. They offer between bacon or sausage, you can even do a sandwich with both! You can also add a hash brown or avocado on your sandwich. They also have a vegan breakfast sandwich option. Unique and charming little space that appears to be an old church. Friendly and welcoming staff. They also have good drinks but we typically go for the food! It's awesome how they offer all sorts of drinks from their originals to seasonal. We hosted my daughter's sweet 16 birthday here and it was so much fun! The owner Austin was great and he was very accommodating! The space was perfect we had about 50 people great seating we were able to have our own private DJ brought and our own food. They also had a barista there serving drinks for purchase, which was great. Our guests really loved that! we had a party starting at 6 PM until midnight perfect amount of time for food cake, entertainment! Really cool having the extra seating in the loft area upstairs . Enough parking in the back of the building in their parking lot felt like a safe venue 10 out of 10 I definitely recommend and would definitely have another event here again! Thank you! read more

Good coffee & thats it. Sandwiches are cold. I Cheese isn't even melted- unlike all the pictures you see them advertise. Had high hopes but was disappointed. I got the classic and was unsatisfied. My husband got the squatch and said it was decent. The interior is nice and the service was too. But would not recommend. read more

I wish I could say the customer service was bad, but it would have had to exist in order to be bad. I accidentally spilled my drink ($9 down the drain) at my table, and the three people working couldn't even break up their conversation to acknowledge what happen literally right in front of their faces. I got up to ask for some towels or something, and one of them just put some paper towels on the bar without even saying anything, or interrupting their conversation. They didn't help, they didn't offer to make me a new one like 99% of other coffee shops would have, they didn't even stop their little chat to handle the slipping hazard that happened right in front of their faces. After my wife and I spending a couple of minutes cleaning up, I had to go over and interrupt their super serious and important conversation and tell them that maybe it's time to go get a mop or something. Who cares how their stuff tastes when their staff can't even be bothered to pay attention to what's happening directly in front of them, much less do anything about it? Well, I contacted them two ways a week ago and nothing so I will just put it here in public. I simply described the problem and was hoping to just resolve it quietly. But since they didn't reach back out, public shaming time. I pretty much gave them the story below through two different paths. I go in there last Sunday, first customer of the day. I order a 20 ounce latte. What ended up on the counter when my drink ready to pick-up was a 20ounce cup that was so light that when I picked it up I nearly hit the ceiling with it. I go sit down and take the lid off and the foam job was pretty sloppy. Not dense and nice but more like you shook the soy milk up in a jar. I had to dig into at least 2 inches of loose foam before I reached the top of the drink. In a cup that holds 20 fl ounces and is tapered that is a lot of volume of drink I didn't get. I take get home with it and massed out the amount of drink and foam I got. Apparently you get half of what you pay for. My 20 ounce latte had 10.8 ounce of drink in it. By the time you account for the double espresso shots and syrup that means that woman that made it used maybe 8 ounces of soy milk for a 20 ounce beverage. I can see 10.8 ounces in a 12 ounce cup as that does leave space for foam, but a 16 or 20 made that is so low on your beverage and completely padded with barely a foam that looked more like the foam that ocean waves make. FYI - they charged $1.08 extra for the plant milk. Seems like they also took 1/2 of it away too. I guess you gotta make money somehow. Founders makes great coffee right across the street, but this was Sunday and they weren't open. Next time I want a coffee on a Sunday I will just go two minutes down the street to Starbucks or one of the two drive through coffee huts (Espresso Express and Coffee Creation). If you want a small drink for the 20 ounce drink price of over $9 with tip (this is why I hate tipping when you pay rather than after!) Then Dev's is your spot. No excuse and I don't know how this could have even happened without being on purpose! The cup was so light! I mean it was 10.8 fluid ounces in a 20 ounce cup. That is not a mistake. That is more like a very sloppy worker or did it on purpose. The bagels are good so stick with food OR check your drink right at the counter and have them make it right if they pull this move. Of course, they get busy so who will always have the time for that? read more

I'm so surprised that I'm the first person to be writing a review on this hidden little gem of a coffee shop in our town of Battle Ground, Washington! This was our first time in there and it will definitely not be our last! First impression, it's in an old church building that wasn't being used (kudos to them for restoring and respecting the history of the building). Walking in, the ambiance is very welcoming. The young lady that took our order was very accommodating while patiently answering our questions about the different types of coffees on the menu. They have a great selection of coffees, hot or cold, plus smoothies too. My son had "The Granny's Cobbler", which consisted of, blueberry, hazelnut, and espresso (he opted for cold). He loved it and I took a sip of it and it was just like having grandma's blueberry cobbler!! I had one of their Spring specials, "The Pistachio Charlie Sheen", which consisted of, white chocolate, pistachio, house coffee and double espresso shots! I liked it hot and It was awesome! We also ordered some bagel breakfast sandwiches, "The Squatch", sausage, double bacon, egg, cheese, cream cheese on a Parmesan crust bagel, and "The Classic", choice of bacon, sausage or ham, (I chose the bacon but I'm getting the sausage next time because I had a bite of my son's sandwich and the sandwich was amazing, not that the bacon wasn't but just to change it up), egg, cheese, cream cheese on an everything bagel. The sandwiches were amazing, cooked to perfection! The eggs not overcooked like some places where you get rubbery eggs (yuck), bacon was crispy, not burnt, bagels toasted just right, hot and crispy with the right amount of softness. I'm telling you, if you haven't been to this place, you are missing out on some really good stuff!! Try it, you won't be disappointed! read more
