You walk into a spread of musubi and onigiris on the right side; on the left - shelves of Hawaiian spices, ingredients, snacks, and other specialty items with a row of fridges along the back wall carrying all kinds of Hawaiian and Japanese drinks and other delights. These visual delights lead you right up to the counter. IMPORTANT TO CHECK YOUR HEALTH AT THE DOOR! Not for the faint of heart or those with medical considerations. The dishes are loaded with flavor and that means a generous helping of salt and fried options. This recent visit was to grab some boxes as holiday gifts. I did my best to just grab what I needed and can proudly say that I did just that. Normally, I get in line and grab some faves which include the dark scotchmallow, dark almonds, dark almond nougat, scotch kiss, and rocky road.
