Why isn't this store advertised more? When searching for candy or sugar on Yelp by Stonestown, this place does not show up. I was visiting apple store so found it by coincidence. I was pleasantly surprised by the well-organized categories of candy. The store is a great place to find gifts and easy to locate what you're looking for. Also, there is a fun seasonal selection located by the front of the store. Much more pleasant that it's sugar by pier in my opinion to browse. read more

This place is heaven for sweet tooth's! That's me! At first I was attracted from the outside seeing the colorful displays. I enter and it's even better than I imagined. Rows and rows and walls and walls of candy, chocolate, fudge, gummies, caramels, popcorn, rice crispy treats, vintage candy like Zagnut and Pop Rocks, cotton candy, cookies. They also have International candy from Japan like Meiji and Pocky, Australia which makes Violet Crumble my ultimate favorite when I was a kid and Tim Tam. Also chocolates from Europe, Hawaii and yummy Mexican candy why hello Tomalitoz and Picositas Belts. You can also get bulk candy son full your bags to your hearts content, combine your jelly beans, gummies and chocolates. This place is pricey but you're not meant to have candy all the time anyway so come here to treat yourself or buy a gift for a loved one. You can also get a LOLLI JAR to fill up and next time you come back you save when you refill your jar. This place is magic! read more

I noticed on this trip that the layout of the stores is exactly the same as the other stores I have been to including where the bags for loose candy to where which candy is displayed. What a fun and modern candy shop! I haven't seen one in a long time so it was nice to spend some time browsing their selection. They had a lot of stuff. Some of the candies were by the pound while others were packaged. They had a lot of giant gummies (like a foot wide type gummies) that looked super unappetizing to eat but maybe it's fun for kids. I saw some packaged chocolate bars that could be fun to try. I was surprised by the amount of anime candy here. I bought my husband some Senzu beans from Dragonball Z because I thought it was cute and funny. And surprisingly they tasted pretty good - they were small green bean shaped candy that was slightly sour. I was also interested in the Naruto snack box but it was like $50! I also tried a chocolate truffle from the front counter and it was expensive $4 for one but I thought it was very rich and tasty. There's also a rewards program that you can join. read more

**A Visit to Candyland Heaven: As narrated by my 8-year-old** Once upon a sunny Saturday, I went to this super-duper amazing candy store in Stonestown Mall called Lolli and Pops with my parents to celebrate my first goal for my soccer team! It was like a double-treat day! When we got there, I couldn't believe my eyes. The store was so colorful and beautiful from the outside. There were huge lollipops, giant gummy bears, and massive chocolate bars in the windows, making me even more excited. We stepped inside, and a super-friendly worker greeted us. They offered to show us around, and we eagerly accepted. They took us through rows and rows of candies, from classics like chocolate bars and gumdrops to fancy candies from Japan and gourmet truffles. But you know what was the most awesome part? It was the candy wall! It was like a magical candy forest! There were lollipops of all sizes and shapes - some as big as candy canes and some as tiny as hearts. And guess what? Cotton candies were there, too, and they had ALL the rainbow colors! There were chocolate bars with all sorts of fillings, like caramel and peanut butter. I couldn't help myself; I just had to try some of the free samples. I picked out a giant lollipop, a bag of cotton candy, and some gummy bears to taste. When I took a bite of that cotton candy, I felt like I was flying in the sky with unicorns. It was so sweet and tangy! And those gummy bears, oh boy, they were so soft and chewy, like little bites of happiness! As we continued exploring the store, I spotted the perfect souvenir to remember this special day - a giant chocolate bar with MY name on it! I knew my friends in school would be super impressed when they saw it. After we finished our candy shopping, we thanked the friendly worker for the tour, and my Dad paid for it all. As we left the store, I couldn't stop smiling, thinking about my first soccer goal and the amazing trip to Lolli and Pops. What I don't understand is why, from time to time, the staff aren't friendly or helpful. It's hit or miss. Last time my friend came in wanting to buy a bunch of jelly beans for his girlfriend, and the staff didn't want to help him, and instead wanted to chat around the counter about their weekend. They also weren't willing to let us have samples, and that's why this place is 3 stars. Depending on the day, the staff is super cool or super lame. Also, the prices are super marked up, and watch out for stale chocolates, I've bought a couple before and they taste very old and I had to throw them away. read more

This is my favorite candy store! So many different types of candies! I always get the mint mojito gummy bears, strawberry lemonade belts, these big apple sour gummies, and my absolute favorite which are the peach chamoy rings! (Pass on the chamoy gummy worms and the apple chamoy rings) I would recommend getting the reusable jars that they sell here. Before when I would bring the jars back to refill my candy it would cost around $6-8 which is super worth it, but now they changed it so you would get a certain percentage off if u refill your jars. I'm not sure how much they determine the price of the candy to the weight since I feel like if I fill up the candy bags they don't feel that heavy but it ends up costing more than I would expect. You do get points when u sign up for their rewards so that's a plus too. read more

Luckily for me, I have a candy fairy. That's right. One of my good friends always thinks of me when he's out at candy shops. For my birthday, he got me a treat from Lolli and Pops. He gave it to me on Wednesday, September 19th around 6:15pm. It was a very cute bear jar filled with gummy bears. I'm not exactly positive on the flavors, but I think they were the Champagne Light and Champagne Rose. The gummies were soft and chewy, but I found them to be too sweet. And I wished there was a sour element to cut into the sweetness. Cute concept for a candy shop as they have a bunch of alcoholic flavors. But for me, I wished the gummies weren't so sweet. On 6/28/18 I came into the store to look around. I was advised by a sales person on the floor that their gummy bear mason jars just arrived. Fill it up and you can return at a future date and refill the jar for $5.00. So I purchased a jar and filled it up. Paid $12.50 total for candies plus the jar. Today 7/13/18 I returned to the store with my emptied jar. Immediately I'm advised the cost to refill has increased from $5 to $6. In just two weeks time the price has gone up 20% in two weeks. There's different sections depending on what you're looking for - sections like Asian snacks, alcohol infused chocolates, Germany sweets... etc. One thing I do enjoy about this place is the fact that you're able to grab a bag and fill it with whatever candy you want like the Sweets Factory used to do, although I do think it's pricier here. They even have these cute canisters that you can bring back to refill - but they're small and pricey and I just don't think it's worth the money. You can buy a bigger canister at Michael's for less than what they sell it for here. Smh. I was so caught up in their beauty that I barely checked prices which is a personal problem, I know. For aesthetic, nostalgia, and instagramable moments is why anyone would come here. At least that's what my reasoning is for ever checking in here. When I have time to kill I usually come here to take pics, get free samples, or look at old candies from childhood. Lolli and Pops is located inside Stonestown Galleria right by the Apple Store on the 1st floor. There's really nothing wrong with this store in terms of customer service or content. The employees are very nice and attentive. The store looks really clean and organized, the ambiance is that of a Willy Wonka come to life. The main problem are prices. The items here are super overpriced. The DIY Japanese Poppin Cooking are $12, which in a Daiso or even a regular Asian store you can get it for under $5. Kit Kats are 2 dollars more than regular pricing as well. Some of the candies that you can get per pound look quite old as well. There was one time I was here craving for gummy bears and as I reach in with the candy shovel, it was all stuck together and kind of hardened. Same with the chocolates malt balls as well. Their mochi freezer looks like my grandmas old freezer, there was so much freezer burn, you can tell it hasn't been touched or replaced for a long time and not fresh at all. Overall, you go here for the nostalgic appeal more than anything or to find candies you don't usually find in stores. In terms of coming here for just some cheap snacks, Id skip it. This store is set up more for kids, and reminiscing adults, than an everyday candy shop. You're better off at a Daiso for cheap and quality candy snacks or even a Target. read more

Here's another brand new store of Stonestown next to Miniso, Lolli and Pops. By golly! Coming into this sweet shop kinda takes me back to the 1950s! Most of the staff members wear cute working clothes, and at least one female staff member has a double hair braids. Not here to just stop and stare; I'm after one or few particular sweets throughout the entire cute atmosphere. Alot of customers, even kids, came here to shop to satisfy there sweet tooths. Of course, I too am so eager to shop as many sweets for myself. A box of Hello Panda mini cookie packets cost as much as $9.50. Still expensive, which I wait for on my next visit. There's still a lot of sweet looking items to purchase from. But guess what, most of the items are made of artificial sweeteners, flavors, and colors, even the Boozy bears. After learning what candies and sweets are made of, I've decided a while ago that anything fair trade is a righteous choice for my health. I won't mind going after astronaut's freeze dried fruits, but ones truly organic are the best. I only come here to here to buy a non-alcoholic elderflower spritzer which cost $4.50. Not only that this beverage is sweetened with organic cane sugar, it has real elderflower flavor infused with real lemon flavor compared to the so-called blue raspberry. Sweets are fun to consume. If you miss Sweet Factory or yearn for a shop that makes you feel 5 years old again, this is the place! They even have Japanese candies which is pretty awesome. First time coming here can be a little overwhelming but here's a good start. You can sample anything and they will give you a couple pieces to tickle your palette. The empty containers have a base price that includes unlimited refills for $5. Just bring the container back. You also have the option to pay for unlimited refills which can be good if this is a convenient place for you to go to. My favorite thing would have to be the boozy bears, alcohol infused gummy bears. The mai tai and rose champagne are really tasty if you'd like a recommendation. You can't go wrong with any of the chocolate covered bears, whether white or milk chocolate and the staff is very friendly to assist you with your decision. Amazing candy store!!! They have a very large variety of Gummies and chocolates. One thing that I very much enjoy was how organized the store is, and are separated in different categories leading from their company made products, European chocolates, Gluten free, sugar free, vegan and a gummy section . They also have candy from out of the country very enjoyable to look around!!! Also staff is very helpful and understanding and cautious for mischief costumers who are looking to only sample.( which was explained that there's no sampling because of covid unless a staff member is there to assist). Which I asked for and ended up leaving with more then planned. Also very helpful over the phone if you have a product in mind. Called one time for chocolate covered gummy bears which they were out of stock and saved me a trip, and by doing that's been very helpful. Definitely recommend this candy boutique ! read more

I just wanted to make a suggestion, you should place a hand calculator right there for the clerks to use, because they don't know how to subtract. I was there around 4:30 pm. My total purchase was 6.82, I gave the clerk 7.00. since it was 6.82, I Said wait "I have 2 pennies", total given was 7.02, expecting 20 cents back.. However, the clerk gave me a dime and 7 pennies back, I responded, huh!!! I said this is not correct.. he should have told me he didn't have dimes or nickels, but Said that afterwards. Plus he gave me the incorrect change!! He then gave me 2 pennies back.. Are you serious!!! He should have given me my 3 pennies back, since he only return 17 cents, should have been 20 cents in all.
