It happened to be a little under twenty minutes away from us so we decided let's do it & they were open late. Hell yeah. There's not a crazy amount of pastries but the selection was great. We got two tiramisus, one vanilla custard lobster tail, some mini cannolis, & the wedding cookies. Everything came out to about $50 so beware, prices aren't exactly cheap. But for one, if you're going to do "bad" then do it right & we also shared with our family of 5 so plenty to go around. & Holy cow, everything was incredible. So indulgent, decadent & rich in flavor. My nephews liked the cannolis, personally they're not my favorite, but if you're into it the mini's are a great option to quench the craving. The lobster tail with the vanilla custard took me by surprise. I didn't think I was going to care for it, but the cold custard was refreshing & the flakiness of the bread was crazy, my taster buds were confused by the textures, but in the best way. They complemented each other well. My ultimate favorite was the tiramisu & the wedding cookies. I honestly wish I had gotten more of the wedding cookies, those things took me back. I grew up eating the Mexican ones & the Italians did it right *applause* But damn, the tiramisu was to die for. I would order that again & again. The service was fine, the girl that helped me was nice, but again I just pointed at desserts I wanted & went home. The location is part of the main restaurant, but it has its own entrance & little room making it feel separate to the Sicilian Butcher. They also carry gelato which I haven't tried yet. I believe they have little tables to sit at also. Highly recommend checking this out so save room for dessert!
