    Traditional breakfast

Been wanting to try this place, it's a small cafe with good reviews. It's small but we got seated right away. They seemed very busy, but attentive as much as they could be. The food took a while, but it came out fresh. For my meal, the food was pretty bland. Just needed some salt and pepper, my eggs came out over hard after asking for over medium, but they had no problem fixing it. The inside is nice and they make do with the space they do have. They serve Press Coffee which I'm a fan of them, so was excited to try some coffee. It was okay! I would be back but try something different from the menu!

I've been wanting to stop by this new spot for a while. I finally made it out of Buckeye recently to do so. If I wasn't looking for it or didn't live in town I'd say it would be hard to find. I'd of driven right by. The previous restaurant here sign is still above the building. While The Heritage name is painted on the front door and side of the building I think it needs a bit more attention for passing cars because it's worth the stop. We were greeted with smiles right away into a cozy old brick building. I love this type of building where old meets new. I love seeing the work being put in to revitalizing Buckeye's Old Town. We arrive later in the day, which technically would've been lunchtime, but we were so pleased to see that they serve breakfast until closing time which is 2 PM. Our server took her drink order and we looked over the menu. I knew right away. I wanted breakfast and their biscuits and gravy sounded so good. My husband got out the typical sausage, eggs, etc. with country potatoes. I chose hashbrowns as my son, our food came out pretty prompt and looked delicious. Good size portions even a half cut strawberry on the plate which by the way tasted straight from a garden not from a store I don't quote me on that, but it tasted like the ones I pick from my garden there seem to be a lot of regulars inside and who I assume the owner walking around giving greetings. I ordered a cup of coffee, which was hot and tasty. No acidic taste with cream on the side. She even added a little bit of vanilla for me. Gravy was good tons of sausage. However, my biscuits were a little bit overcooked. I wish they were a little softer, but food was still good and I would definitely go back. My husband enjoyed his meal, but regretted not getting the hashbrowns and all honesty. That's his fault. He always eats hashbrowns so why he ordered country potatoes I have no idea lol the inside is pretty small, but didn't feel overwhelming or claustrophobic parking in the back for a little bit more history, you'll find hobo Joe back there a statue who is actually designed by a Disney animator back in the 60s cool story if you wanna look it up on how it ended up there all in all I'll definitely be back. Probably try the same thing because of flavor was there just hoping for a little more doughy and less hard biscuit, depending on who you are prices could seem a little higher but for a mom and pop restaurant local to the town I'd pay that any day over a big chain.

My wife and I tried out Heritage on a Saturday morning. The restaurant was very nice atmosphere with the exposed brick. We were waited on immediately and sat where we requested. We ordered a pecan cinnamon role that was delicious. My wife ordered the biscuits and gravy and I ordered the heritage breakfast deluxe. Make sure you come hungry because you get a ton of food. Both meals were delicious , the eggs were the best I have had since moving to Arizona. The service was amazing, as each waitress checked on us during our visit. The only critique I would have is they have canned soda not fountain and it's 2.25 a can. Other than that, a great experience.

I knew nothing of this cute little spot until a group of my friends decided to visit. The food was amazing for all of us and the service was impeccable! There were 20 of us and we took up a whole section but everything went smoothly. This is close to my home so I will definitely check it out again. The manager came out and spoke with us to make sure everything was to our liking as well. If you're ever in Buckeye, stop by this place. There's a lot of parking to be downtown Buckeye so that's a plus. It is quaint and small but very cute inside. They also had homemade chips that were bought out to us and those were great too.

I finally got a chance to make it in to the new local owned restaurant in downtown Buckeye. It has taken over the former 25:35 Cafe and it looks like they have settled in well. The vibe that they aimed for fits the aesthetic of this space perfectly. It's such a a charming place. When we walked in on a Monday morning, there was no one there, but within 10 mins, there were 5 tables going. The young ladies were super attentive and personable. I saw them making their way around, chatting with patrons and they came back to our table several times to make sure we didn't need anything. The place is clean and in good shape. You even have a view into the kitchen, which you can also see is well kept. The food. I was skeptical because of prices. We have so many places coming in to downtown who are setting prices higher and higher, and food portions aren't keeping up. I can say for breakfast here, they definitely gave good portions. I will try them for lunch soon and see if that is consistent with lunch too. I really hope they do well, as we have so few places in downtown. Maybe they'll consider "lighter" menus that are a little more budget friendly for those of us that work downtown and live in the area as well. I think that would be the only downside to this establishment is the pricing.

Unfortunately I wanted to love this spot! 'Maybe I ordered the wrong items, other guest seemed to enjoy their food. Biscuits and Gravy: for some reason mine came out lukewarm, I order my egg over-hard (yes) but this was burnt. Shredded hash-browns were almost not edible because they were so hard, there was a burnt circle of hash-browns in the middle. I then tried lunch, I ordered the Caesar salad, croutons were great, but the chicken smelled like spoiled cooked chicken (waitress did remove the charge for the chicken). The smell was so pungent that I removed it from my plate. The waitress was excellent. The peach Bellini was better than my food, but I the waitress forgot to charge me happy hour pricing. Sadly, the food was not good. Cracker Barrel is a better option.

I've had their catering food before so I was dying to try this new restaurant. All I have to say is wow!!!!! The flat white came out quick even with full tables and we were a little afraid the single waitress would slow down service. Completely the opposite. Probably faster service than going to Starbucks these days! The food is amazing. My mouth is watering just writing this review remembering what I ate. We will definitely be back. Worth the drive down from I-10 if you're visiting and a must to your frequented breakfast joints. Hopefully it is here to stay!

    Breakfast Burrito

We ordered: Breakfast Burrito, English muffin breakfast sandwich, and a pancake This place is under new ownership now. The menu is smaller and less versatile than previous. They kept prices within reason which was a nice surprise. It has all new staff, who are very friendly. The food was good. I personally think the breakfast burritos were much better and bigger before new ownership. However this burrito was still good. It was advertised with chorizo on the menu but when it came to the table, it had bacon instead. The breakfast sandwich (with sausage) was very good. Would recommend. The pancake was your average mom and pop pancake. It was good but a little overcooked. I'd say this rating is more of a 3.5/5 but I'll be a returning customer

What a cute place in downtown Buckeye! The food was delicious, and the service was top notch. We were so busy enjoying that we forgot pictures of the food. I had the chicken salad croissant and my friend had "The Duke" and kept talking about how amazing the chipotle mayo was. I am picky about my chicken salad and this was great! We will be back!

Unfortunately, It's just the second floor with the only view facing South. Also unfortunately, we were the only ones up there, and the NFL Draft was blaring. The wait staff was nice enough to turn it down, after we thought to ask....and when another table joined us, they agreed to mute it alltogether. My wife, Mary and I both had the 1/2 rack of ribs for about $18 and our 30 something "foodie" granddaughter Erin had the Cubano for about $14. We each tried a different side, between onion rings, regular fries, and a Caesar side salad for me. All the food was done perfectly and top notch seasonings. On a side note, while I excused myself to one of the restrooms, Mary and Erin critiqued the interior as being void of any decorating, especially wall art, which as an artist bothered them a bit. It's a bit too far from our place in Goodyear to make it one of our regular spots, but interesting enough to possibly take visitors. Also once more of the shops open in Verrado, it might end up being more on our way.

So much so that I couldn't taste the other flavors. The wife loved her club sandwich with onion rings. One thing that bothers me most is when servers have zero personality and refuse to even hint at smiling. In Madisyns defense she did smile when dropping off the check. Will I return probably but I'll ask more questions about the food next time.

Everyone else chooses the barstools and hightop tables or the patio. We were only outside once, when my ankle was broken and it was tough to get around. But, I digress. Maybe the cozying adds to the delight of our foodie experience at Sip. We don't drink but they make a lovely Shirley Temple that compliments all that chef-made goodness. Her menu is always shifting and we love the creativity. One of the mainstays, though, is the meatball appetizer. The beef is tender and flavorful and the homemade marinara as complimented by a perfect cheese pull. We'll get that and one other item - a charcuterie board, bread and/or veggies and a dip, or some other interesting app. Sometimes we get a salad, but order dressing on the side because we like it light. As lovely as Sip is, I don't know if people are impractical or enamored enough to drive a half hour up a mountain to enjoy that tiny establishment. So, it feels like a happy place to be around locals. Estrella is growing but not so much that we've ever felt crowded out at Sip. It's homey and warm and a relaxing place to feel at home, on our special couch. Please don't sit at our couch. lol

Our waiter was attentive, but my wife asked for the bottle of wine we ordered to be chilled before it was brought out. The food was excellent as always, but we were both disappointed by the very small menu. We had been there only a few weeks ago and the menu was two pages with many more selections. There were at least 3 burger options on the old menu, and was surprised to only see the Wagyu burger on the new one (the most expensive of the 3 btw).
