    Smoked Turkey
    Wanda H.

The turkey was good, with a bit of smoke flavor. The green beans were void of ANY flavor. The coleslaw was the best of all. A vinegar slaw that wasn't too sweet, but sweet enough. Service was okay. Music being played didn't fit at all. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again, but wouldn't refuse to either.

    Half Rack of Ribs

Grabbed dinner on a weekday an hour before closing and tried a variety of meats off their menu. They serve everything with Missouri style BBQ sauce, which is extremely sweet. Honestly, sweet BBQ is typically not my top choice, but the one here definitely grew on me the more that I had of it. Rack of Ribs (5/5): A MUST GET! Succulent, fatty, flavorful meat that falls off the bone. I would definitely go out of my way for this alone and a standout amongst all the menu items I tried here. Genuinely cannot recommend this enough :) Brisket (2.75/5): This might have been because I went towards the end of the day, but I found the brisket to be extremely dry. Typically, I take that as a sign of not enough fat, but it was okay if you dipped it in the barbecue sauce. Sausage (3/5): Decent sausage that is juicy, but honestly nothing special here. If you're craving sausage, this would satisfy you, but it won't knock your socks off. Potato Salad and Coleslaw (3.5/5): Savory and satisfying. Not the most mind blowing sides I have ever had, but they cut through the fattiness of the BBQ nicely. The coleslaw is not mayonnaise forward as I was expecting, but I enjoyed the freshness and acidity. Potato salad had the satisfying mix of textures between mashed and chunks of potato.

    Combo with 3 meats

Ordered two 3-meat tray to go. 1st one - sausage, turkey, pulled pork with wedges and potato salad. 2nd one - spicy sausage, ribs and brisket with baked beans and green beans. One major issue - the 2nd combo, instead of getting the brisket, they gave us pulled pork (didn't noticed until we got home). This establishment also only offers one kind of BBQ sauce... of all the BBQ joints I've been to, they typically will offer 3+ different BBQ sauces. My favorite was the rib. It was juicy, meat came off the bones easily and it was seasoned well. I also liked their potato salad. I would skip the green beans, as it did not have any seasoning. Their baked beans were ok. I wasn't fan of their regular or hot sausage links. As for the turkey meat, it had the texture of turkey lunch meat. If I made a return visit, I would stick to the ribs, potato salad and their potato wedges.

3 meat combo. Beans and coleslaw sides. Spicy sausage, ribs, and pork.

I was staying at the Best Western next door so Sweetwater was an easy walk. I bought a 3 meat combo and some chicken wings. Cost under $20 and included 2 sides. At 4:30pm there were a few people eating in the dining room. Service was very fast for my take out. I waited perhaps 10 minutes. The spicy sausage wasn't spicy, in your face. It was sneaky spicy. Very nice. Rib meat fell off the bone and were also tasty. Pulled pork was good too. I had regular sauce on the meats and spicy on the wings. Food was good. Service was great. Price was great.

Beef brisket, sausages, bbq beans, fries, toast, & peach cobbler.

Underwhelming place. Im a big fan of small mom/pop locations but this one was very disappointing. I am not a bbq expert but this was not what I was expecting. Ate here based on hotel recommendation so I thought it was going to be ok. Rooting for an improvement. 1). Food. Needs improvement. Not a lot of taste. - beef brisket. Im comparing it to the BBQ I had while visiting Memphis. This one had no taste. Had to drown it with BBQ sauce for it yo taste anything. - sausages. Regular taste. Nice and safe order. - BBQ beans. Not a beans fan but I enjoyed Memphis beans. This one, not so much. Not tasty enough. - fries. Soggy. Disappointing. - peach cobbler. This is not bad. Would be better with ice cream. - sweet tea. Not sweet. Not enough taste. 2). Customer Service. Below average because the wait was very long even though they were not too busy. - check your receipts. They overcharged me for 2 drinks even though I only ordered 1 sweet tea. Didn't argue as I didn't want them to do something to my order. 3). Atmosphere. Decent spot. Homey. Kinda clean. Not bad. 4). Others. Plenty of parking. Off the freeway (44) or what was Route 66. This is the only BBQ place in the area. Don't go here if you want real/good BBQ. Go here if you are hungry and starving really bad. Get your kicks on Route 66 - not just this one. Hope that they improve.

Service was wonderful! Food was delicious, especially the ribs, meat fell right off the bone. Great family owned place. We've been coming here for years every time we pass by!

Wow wow wow!! Best ribs I've ever had in my life! The chicken is fantastic too! I would drive from NJ to Sweetwster again just to have them. Fall off the bone amazement!! Super nice Chef too! You can't miss this stop. And go to Uranus to it's right around the corner!

The real deal BBQ meal I had at Sweetwater. Ribs, Pulled Pork & Brisket Sides of beans & potato salad

By far the best BBQ in St. Robert and one of the better meals, too. Popular "locals" place with the gents stationed at nearby FLW. Quick service, reasonable and good portions. Great place to share a pitcher of beer, some ribs, pulled pork or brisket and unwind, maybe catch a ball game on the TV. Nothing fancy, not a chain, just a good old family run BBQ joint with a smile and great 'Q. Just like it should be! Even better, you pass this big monstrosity of a titty bar complex lit in neon along the highway on the way there that looks like its right out of the Porky's movies. What a way to set the mood for the meal!

Outstanding! Stopped here on our way back to chicago from…read moresoftball tourney in Branson. We love bbq and try to hit the local gems when ever we can. Pig fire sandwich- so good. The salsa was amazing and the fire bbq sauce was perfect. Ribs fell apart and the rub was so flavorful. I added bbq sauce but didn't need too. The sweetness was finger licking good. The beans were very good too. Spicy with a kick Highly recommend stopping here. Its a food truck out side a gun range doesn't look fancy but don't let that deter you. There are picnic tables to eat at. Only suggestion i would have for them is to throw some umbrellas out there. It looked like most people were picking up.

Outstanding BBQ in the heart of Klamath Falls, OR…read more I ordered the rib plate, which comes with slaw, beans and fries, and three ribs. I was worried it wouldn't be enough so I bought two extra ribs. Excellent ribs; fall-off-the-bone meat perfectly spiced, with a nice peppy sauce. The good man running the place said they've been there for about five years. Hopefully, they'll be around for a lot longer! The ribs were huge, and now I've got two in the fridge for tomorrow because three were more than enough. Coleslaw is as close to perfect as it can get. Sweet with a hint of vinegar tang. The beans are sweet, with a generous helping of rib meat. Two sides of these would be a meal unto themselves. The only "complaint" I had was it could have stood a slice of white bread, just for mopping it all up so as to not miss a drop. But that's not really a complaint at all. Price was BELOW what it's worth. I would gladly have paid more for this perfect BBQ meal. I'll be back regularly.
