Love that they have Happy Hour prices and menu during lunch. Hard to beat $1 oysters. The small plate options were fantastic. At $10 a pop, you can sample various dishes and create your own custom meal. Loved the raw and fried oysters. Fish and chips were great as well. Service was excellent.

Came in specifically for happy hour for $1 oysters. Cannot go wrong with this. It's a cute spot and had friendly service. I thought the hamachi and lobster risotto were pretty small for the price. Guess we really saved with the oysters Other than that, great experience

We've eaten here several times and it's always good. We also order takeout and really appreciate how they package the food. Our order has always been right. The oysters, lobster risotto, ravioli, shrimp cocktail, desserts, everything we've had has been delicious.

I arrived shortly after 2p on a Saturday and there were a few people at the bar and a few in booths. Looked as if I had just missed the rush which was great! I was greeted warmly and asked if I preferred to sit at the bar, a high top or a booth. I chose a booth and it gave me a great view of all the action in the restaurant. I was given a happy hour menu that had small plates, cocktails and east coast oysters being served Mon-SATURDAY 11a-6p. That's so wonderful and not the norm! The first thing I noticed is how attentive the servers are and how they worked as a team. I ordered the fish and chips and thought it was tasty. Wound up also ordering the clam chowder and it also hit the spot! I'll most definitely be back to this cute and quality spot!

I will add onto this review in the next few days, but this place is outstanding! Great service, nice ambience and killer food! Oh a joy to discover! The waiter was super helpful in guiding us on which raw oysters to select and out order came out in perfect sequence! Fresh Shrimp Cocktail! Yum! Cran Wontons! Perfect with a killer sauce. Calamari! Crispy and delicious. A dozen raw oysters - Bluepoint, Pink Moon and Black Magic - double yum! Without a doubt we will be back again soon! Highly Recommended! Did I mention how tasty the beer was too?

Sweetwater remains a solid performer in Cedar Park! The oysters are fantastic! Cocktails fun and creative, delicious too. We tried the "fried" menu this time ... fried shrimp, fried oysters, fish and chips! All good! Service is consistent!y 5-star. It's not a big place, but nicely decorated, nice music. Great happy hour, with food and drink specials! Highly recommend!

While I am not an Oyster fan my wife enjoyed them. We went during their HH time and ordered off that menu. I had the fish and chips. Imo, the chips were better than the fish. Service was top notch - A+. I'm not sure who was waiting on us, but he was great. Place itself is cozy and tables are well spaced out. Worth a visit.

Finally made it for an anniversary meal. Nice dining area and vibe, a/c blows cold. Started with some delicious east coast oysters and crab fingers. Both very fresh. Then we split the chorizo mussels, also very good. Would have loved some extra bread for the broth. Lastly,,we finished with the halibut florentine. Creamy sauce, wilted spinach, and perfectly cooked halibut. There was half a scallop on top, for the price I wouldn't have minded to see 2 or 3 whole ones but it was all very delicious. We did have two servers, which was fine but a little confusing at times. One of them did offer extra bread after I asked for a spoon to clean the florentine bowl. Appreciated that. Overall it's very high quality, fresh seafood. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for I suppose. Didn't have any alcohol, but the previous concept had good cocktails so I suspect they're solid there. I can't afford to eat here regularly, nor bring the whole family, but I'd return for a special occasion if seafood was the target cuisine.

Great happy hour menu! Food is fresh and portions are just the perfect size. Service is friendly and attentive. Design and general vibe are very Oceanside eatery, just missing that sea breeze. I'll be back to enjoy an afternoon of drinks and fresh seafood.

It's located right off 183 so easy highway access + easy free parking typical of a suburban shopping strip. The restaurant itself is pretty small, maybe about 8 - 10 tables that can seat between 4 - 6 each. We came on a Sunday and even though there weren't huge lines, be prepared to wait 5 - 10 minutes to order and another 15 - 20 minutes until the food comes out. The food itself tastes great - very true to Cajun-Vietnamese seasoning (garlic butter galore) similar to what I've had in Houston. Highly recommend their special sauce which mixes the two other sauces together for maximum flavor. Comes with bibs and gloves for a "clean" eating experience. Pricing is a bit on the higher end for a place in a suburban strip mall and that's the only knock. This is also typical for crawfish boil type restaurants though so didn't knock any stars off.

We came on a friday night around 6:45 pm and ordered their garlic parmesan fries, a margarita, and 3 lbs of happy style sauce crawfish mild that came with 1 potato and 1 corn. Total came out to be $65 with tip. There were no tables available, as the restaurant is quite small, so we were offered to sit at the bar. -The parmesan garlic fries came with the garlic on the side in a little container containing mostly oil and garlic crunches on the bottom. The flavor was good, but it was too oily. I wish they poured the garlic onto the fries vs having us dip it in the oil. Not sure how much these were, as the price wasn't on the menu I took snapshots of. -The margarita was on the smaller side, but my husband enjoyed it. $8 -3lbs crawfish was ehhh. It was definitely frozen so it was harder to peel and honestly, nothing special, which was disappointing. It was also kinda mushy?? which is definitely a first.. The only thing I liked was the happy style sauce. We ordered mild, but can definitely go hotter since the mild wasn't spicy at all. Portions were kinda small, tbh and so we left unsatisfied. The crawfish came out to be $41 with tax, which was kinda expensive.. esp being frozen. Thoughts: -very tiny restaurant with only 8 tables, including 1 large table for 6-7 people -you can't order 1 or 2 lbs of crawfish, the minimum is 3 lbs which I feel is a bit odd.. -kinda expensive with the 3lbs crawfish esp it being frozen cuz you can get fresh crawfish for less than what they're charging at other places Honestly, pretty disappointed with what we ordered. Guess we'll have to keep looking for other seafood boils. I saw that they had crawfish etouffee, which I am looking forward to trying next time I come. Also, come earlier if you want to get a table. **It's kinda a weird setup. Although there are tables, you actually order first at the front and then you sit. There are no table service just fyi!

But I also saw a family with four kids get seated at a big, round table, and the waiters wasted no time getting drinks in foam cups with lids and straws to the kiddos, and for them to be attentive to all kinds of customers like that is worth calling out. As for the food, I ordered an appetizer and the orange roughy with shrimp with a glass of wine, and my wife ordered salmon the way she likes it (not on the menu) and the waiter didn't blink and it came perfectly done. My roughy came on a bed of risotto and very large asparagus I feared would be tough. Not to worry, they were great, though I would have enjoyed three shrimp instead of two. The crab cake is extraordinary, and I urge you to compare it with other bready monsters you get elsewhere. Delicately crusted with a lightly spicy remoulade, it's a terrific starter. The mousse cake is a touch heavy but the crème brûlée is just right. We ate ourselves silly.

The hush puppies, fries, fried shrimp, and fried catfish are all great. I visited for the first time this year during crawfish season and had high hopes, but left severely disappointed. The crawfish are steamed in a bag, which already limits how much flavor can develop. They then add what appears to be an ice cream scoop of seasoning, with herbs, garlic, onions, and whatever else, dropped into the corner of the bag. When I got my order, it was clear no one had shaken or distributed it. The seasoning sat in one clump on top of about four crawfish while the rest were completely bland, tasting like steamed broccoli with no flavor whatsoever. At $13 a pound, this is pretty unacceptable. I do my own crawfish boils and I'll admit I have high standards, but this felt like the bare minimum effort for a seafood restaurant. When I told our server the crawfish were tasteless and that all the seasoning was piled on one side, she just shrugged and said, "Yeah, I'm sorry."
