Tapioca crepe (left), omelette (up), quiche (right)

This might be slight exaggeration, but I think this is the only place in the Ironbound, maybe even all of Newark that serves quiches. Not sure if this is an accurate statement or maybe quiches aren't in demand. Whatever the case, the quiche was so good!! They have different daily quiche specials. Absolutely love their passion fruit cheesecake!! I've been back a couple of times just to grab one to-go!! :P I guess for the most part everything is to-go nowadays (covid), but I'm willing to double park and risk a parking ticket for this cheesecake!! The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the tapioca crepe. I've never had one before. I think it was a bit too crunchy and I guess hard to eat.

[Newark location.] Nice light rooms, nice decorations, nice open kitchen, and helpful/efficient waitress (Thalita) [who apologized for her English (which was way better than my Portuguese/Spanglish!)]. We (two) started with delicious lattes, and then shared the great shrimp soup, a lovely omelette with several add-ons, and a fresh salad with several add-ons. I liked table #10 for the view of both rooms & the action. Nice looking clientele & flow, and clean rest-room. I picked up a couple of brownies, to go, (already wrapped for my grabbing convenience) for my house-mates. Nice a al carte build-your-own scenario, but all that adds up! (Computerized from the table to the kitchen, so there were no mistakes [although they need to update the prices on the (good-looking) website]). I am ambivalent about the "gratuity" [sic] (for table service) being added in (but I wanted to [did] give more than the 15% anyway). I live a little in the past about prices and "worth." It's a little more $ -- but nicer/better -- than a diner (so it was a more special / treat). I think that they have a pasta special on one day of the week... feijoada on another day... and "brunch" on Sundays. I really enjoyed the whole experience--and definitely plan to return...!

Very disappointing. First bite into the cake, very dry. Decided to give it another dry as perhaps it was just the crust, NOPE. You could tell the cake was old. The taste was off. Something in me said to check the cake thoroughly and to my surprise...MOLD. Gross. Sickening.

I walked upon this place trying to find someone that makes cake pops for my daughters Birthday. Then I saw all sorts of sweets. Although they are a bit pricey they are delicious without a doubt. I ended up getting goodies for my family. For 3 slices of cake and a small jar of caramel the total came to $26... but again worth every penny. The interior decorations is super cute. They have tables where you can sit back and eat some sweets or breakfast and drink coffee. I will be back soon

No mask or temperature checks! Panquecas (chicken and beef) were delicious. Teens enjoyed them. Some may consider this pricey, especially if you order the baguette with just butter ($6.50). Very friendly servers. Nice and cool dining area. Really good coffee!

I've had this place bookmarked on my account since moving to Harrison last summer and finally had the opportunity to check them out in March. It was beyond my expectations! Absolutely beautiful, great variety and amazing ambiance. Owner has great energy, professionalism and is extremely down to earth. Chocolate cake and cappuccino was divine! Fireplace table make it extra special. There are so many options to select from so be sure to come with an appetite.

This is the only cafe I can relax and enjoy the coffee and bakery in ironbound. Especially during this pandemic , this place offers comfort. I usually buy a few pieces of cakes to go and have a coffee and a dish. I have tried the ham and cheese croissant and meat lasagna which is surprising to have this in a bakery. The cakes are fresh without additives. So delicious

    Beautiful but small inside.

Oh my Allah. The pudding / mouse with passion fruit are soooo delectable. Sweet and sour with dark chocolate. Great! Writing this review is making me want one right now and it's 1 am. The cappuccino is excellent as well. I'm glad this spot is in another city and not near me because I'd play this spot out!

Churro cake w/warm Carmel sauce. Yummy!!!

OMG amazing and delicious. Darling decor, very nice staff. Very passionate about their food. We had ham/cheese quiche, chicken pot pie, Carmel churro cake w/ warm Carmel sauce and a mocha latte to die for

Beautiful and well decorated local bakery and sweets dedicated spot. Local owned and great atmosphere. You can see thru the glass windows the chefs making some of the best sweets and cakes.

I don't know where to start, the decoration is beautiful, the ambiance amazing, went with my two girls, they have so many options and everything looks great it was hard to decide, I got the passion fruit cheesecake and it was delicious, my daughters got the "taca da felicidade" glass of happiness in English and they loved it, you can see how they bake trough a glass the kitchen is open. Will go back for sure... many times

Front of the house is more restaurant but in the back is a library/sitting area where you can read a book you brought or one that they have available (see pics). I had a cafe con leche and it was perfect as it came. Also I had the shashuka. I don't eat runny eggs but they kindly scrambled my eggs. The tomato sauce was delicious and it comes with bread. I also got a side of bacon. The staff is really nice and I was able to sit and read. If you are ever looking for a really accessible spot near the train station to eat definitely stop here.

My husband ordered a hot chocolate with oat milk, rich and comforting, and my mom had a chai with oat milk. She enjoyed the flavor overall. Food-wise, my husband ordered the chorizo omelette and was very happy with it--hearty, well-seasoned, and satisfying. I had the salmon salad, which was delicious. The dressing was balanced and flavorful, the greens fresh, and the salmon was cooked and seasoned really well. I will note that the salmon portion was a bit smaller than what I'd seen in some Yelp photos, but the quality absolutely made up for it. My mom had the club sandwich, which was generously sized and filling. She also wasn't a fan of the soft-boiled egg that came with her dish, but that's more a personal preference--she's firmly in the "well-done only" camp. Our little one had eggs and fries and was clearly living her best life. A sweet highlight of the visit was when the owner kindly gave her a cookie on the house--such a small gesture, but it really made the experience feel warm and personal. The space itself feels like a true community gathering spot--comfortable, welcoming, and easy to settle into. It's a great place to work or linger, with free WiFi and a relaxed atmosphere that invites you to stay awhile. Overall, this spot feels cozy, thoughtfully run, and rooted in care. The food is well-prepared, the flavors are intentional, and the hospitality really stands out. We'd absolutely come back for brunch and a longer stay next time.

I immediately stopped on the Vietnamese restaurant with almost a perfect rating at 4.9 stars and 500+ reviews. I'm equally excited, and skeptical. NY/NJ residents aren't the easiest to win over. I walked maybe 6 min to the restaurant. It was a nice sized store front with a well lit dining room, and self and full service kiosk. I was immediately greeted by the staff, I chose to do self serve. Even with that, I still felt very welcomed and engaged once I placed my order. All the items were displayed, and looked fresh. The staff carefully put together a teriyaki salad bowl, and pho for me in about 10 minutes. Once I got the food to my hotel room, I was genuinely impressed. The Pho was so rich in flavor, without being too salty. The noodles were the perfect texture. 10/10. A few hours later after the gym I cracked open the salad bowl. This was referred to me by the staff vs the lemon grass chicken. I am glad I listened, the amount of tender juicy chicken is impressive. The crispy lettuce, and robust tomatoes were a great combination of healthy, and hearty. Bahn & Bo deserves the accolades it's earned, and the one I made up at the beginning. Pro tip: The prices are so good, and so are the portion sizes. If you are looking for fresher, lighter, healthier, skip the Chipotle and Qdobas around the corner, and come here.
