I haven't returned my board yet, but I am relieved that they have immediate customer service given that their reviews are negative. I opened the package and to my surprise, I received the items I ordered 3 days prior. And I paid $0 for shipping, I totally didn't expect to get the items this early. Only 3 days after my order. They have a great selection of board shorts (no more heavy cotton) and swim trunks. They do a great job of rotating their clothing so every few weeks you are sure to find new shorts and trunks. They also have a really cool selection of shirts too. Awesome casual stuff where you can just throw something on with a pair of jeans or something if you're hitting the beach or the gym. They offer a lot more than just a surf type store, but if you're looking for that they have that too. I think the prices are pretty reasonable. I'm not sure if they have many sales, but the products are quality and reasonably priced. I find that the clothing they carry here tends to run on the smaller side so be sure to try it on.

They have been around since 1988. Although it wasn't his cup of tea for a skate board shop,they had what he needed. J said that the guys were really nice and they probably were had I not been so impatient that night, I probably would have talked them up too. They asked J if I was mad because it was taking so long and I looked huffy, but I'm sure they get a lot of wives in there who get impatient waiting. J's reply, "nah she just looks mean". Hope we're okay with whittling away our future children's college fund! But low and behold while strolling around Mall of America this past week we stumble across this Quicksilver location. My husband didn't even want to go in at first reminding me of how expensive it is but I spotted a 50% table, we found 2 items. I asked the sales guys whether this sign was too good to be true, I've never seen a 50% sign at Quicksilver. "Nope, everything there is 50% off," he replied. Not wanting to deal with it later (this was the last stop during our full day of shopping) I asked, "You want to check on that before I quote you on it later." He said sure and confirmed it. At that point we looked up to see racks and racks of 50% off clothing, sweaters and jackets. Jackpot! We racked up $300 of half priced, non sales taxed, quality clothing forcing us to buy an additional bag to fly home with. The sales guy who helped us was really friendly and helpful, price checking everything we were unsure of. He had a long day too, having flown in from CO that morning to work the day after Christmas in the largest mall in the area. You would never know it from his helpful attitude and willingness to start up a conversation. This place made our shopping experience!

The website lists the address as 135 Lake St, Excelsior, MN, but based on Apple Maps their location is more accurately described as West Lake Street or First Street, as there is a baseball diamond at 135 Lake Street. We called the company for help as we were lost and to let them know we were running late as a result, and they were unsympathetic but eventually got us to the right spot (albeit late for an only one hour reservation). The two students working said we still ONLY had the time remaining for our hour reservation (i.e. until 5pm) so we had lost the time we couldn't find the location and made no accommodation for us, although they also noted there were no reservations after ours. I completely understand needing to avoid a scheduling conflict, but I certainly wished for a little more understanding after not finding the location since they clarified we wouldn't create an issue by simply pushing our reservation back 20 minutes (if that would have been allowed).

The puffy jacket somehow holds up to my son tearing up playgrounds, climbing all over stuff, rolling around, and generally beating up the coat - and it keeps on going, looks as good as new. So, I am ok with getting another when he outgrew the last one - which is still in great shape and we can re-use for his little sister.
