We went on a weeknight for dinner and were lucky enough to snag the one available table. The place is small inside, and on one of those rare cold nights, this Florida girl's blood is way too thin to sit outdoors. There was only one server for the entire dining room, but she absolutely nailed it--and did it all with a smile. We started with the saganaki, which was just okay. It was firm, not very hot, and still quite salty. I'm used to saganaki being served hot and melty on the inside, sometimes even flamed tableside. My husband ordered the Greek burger, a regular burger topped with feta. He felt there was a bit too much feta, but said the meat itself had good flavor. For his side, he chose the lemon rice soup--an unusual option, but one he enjoyed. I ordered the moussaka, which comes with two sides. I chose the nicely sized salad with their delicious pink dressing (which I love) and the rice pilaf. The moussaka was really good and served hot over the meat sauce. Years ago, we visited the Spiro's in SLW, but the parking was just too much of an issue. This was our first time trying out the Tradition Spiro's. The service was a little slow. We seemed to have to wait for our salads after finishing our appetizer and also for our check and to-go boxes, but otherwise, we really enjoyed our meal and plan to return. Our waitress was friendly and helped answer some questions about the menu. We shared the grape leaves appetizer. They were warm with a side of pita. The insides were very creamy. My husband had the gyro with fries and ordered a side salad and side of souvlaki. He enjoyed all of it. I had the mahi that came of a bed of rice with a yummy lemon sauce with capers and artichoke hearts, also served with a side of pita. It was served in a bowl versus a plate, so it was a little difficult to eat, but it stayed extremely warm, which isn't a bad thing. This place is tiny. It's where the old Tin Fish used to be by Taco Dive. There are only 7 tables inside. For anyone who can stand the heat, there is ample seating outside. We have visited this restaurant many times in the past and always loved it. We went last night and it was sadly disappointing on so many levels. One waitress had long hair hanging in her face and super long fingernails- I guess it's because I've been a nurse for years but It just looks so unkempt and unsanitary. I had to order a bottle of sparkling water three times before it came to the table. The food was delivered out of order meaning the appetizer and the main courses came back to back, even though the waitress assured us that would not happen. The rice pilaf tasted like it was five days old and had been reheated- part of it was so crunchy you couldn't even eat it. The gyro and chicken kebab were just meh. We moved to Port St. Lucie 3 days ago from Lake Worth. We felt like Greek food so we googled Greek restaurant near me and Spiros showed up on my phone. We first ordered a calamari appetizer that we shared, and it was delicious, not chewy at all, it just melted in my mouth. Then as an entree, my wife ordered the Greek style chicken with lemon potatoes and it came with sides, and she had the Greek salad. I ordered the Souvlaki with a lemon rice soup and lemon potatoes as sides. My pork in the Souvlaki was 50/50 meaning that pieces were juicy with others dry. The soup was okay a little bit gelatinous, and the lemon potatoes good. My wife's chicken was moist, cooked perfectly, she particularly enjoyed her Greek salad. For dessert, we shared a Baklava served a little too cold and stiff, when it should be served room temperature. Our server Jillian was friendly, efficient and professional. The ambiance was pleasant. The prices were reasonable. I can't give it 5 because of the dry pieces of pork and the weird viscosity of the soup. Spiros deserves an honest 4!! read more

I recently visited Spiros' new location after enjoying one of their other spots in Palm city, and I was pleased to find the same level of quality. I ordered the Greek chicken platter, which was bursting with flavor and nicely presented. Our server, Corrine, was attentive and helpful, enhancing our dining experience. I have visited here before and enjoyed this place. After tonight's meal not so sure I would ever go back. Waitress asks me what I want with my meal. She got my dish wrong, a small misunderstanding. Dinner salad arrives no dressing, waitress then says oh you want dressing? Hmmmm....i didn't know I had to say please put dressing on it. Both kids plates we had to remind them of the sides. I ordered the pastitio which was not made recently. It looked like the bechemel, pasta and meat were all made independently of each other. It was dry and cold. Adding marinara to the top to give it a second life is wrong. The side of green beans were cold as well. I see why this place has no wait on a Friday night. The service was poor, with only one other table in the entire restaurant we had to wait to order and I had to remind her of several things. The hummus appetizer was good. My husband had a plate which included 3 meats, he enjoyed the Gyro meat but the other meat was too tough to chew. I had the Greek salad topped with gyro meat. Spiro's is definitely one of our local favorites and we visit often. This time of year it is nice to sit outside in the Tradition location, but the SLW location is always great as well! The Zesty Calamari is one of the best apps on the planet, with plenty of fried calamari and zesty pepperoncini sauce! The Greek Salad with chicken is superb, with plenty for lunch the following day. I love the gyros, which are tasty and filling. Service is always on the money and we have never had a complaint. We'll keep coming back for more! read more

I'd been craving some Greek food, and popped in here for a quick lunch yesterday and it was fantastic! I had a chicken gyro with a Greek salad. The salad was fresh and delicious and the chicken was marinated perfectly! Their homemade Tzatziki was some of the best I've had! It was reasonably priced at $10.95 and a huge portion! My server Jess was a great server, she was so sweet and friendly! I also saw that they have Belly Dancers every 2nd and 4th Friday so I will definitely return for a date night with the hubby, and be sure to try the Baklava next visit! :) read more

I had a Greek salad with grilled chicken. The dressing was a delicious Greek dressing with a pink hue. The salad was huge with olives, feta cheese,cucumber, diced beets, cherry tomatoes. They did not have many options for my gluten allergy, but went above and beyond preparing a delicious salad and kabob for me (no pitas). The food was inedible from the falafel appetizer, cold calamari to the entrees including an awful burger, dry and unseasoned gyro meat and chicken. The total cost of the meal was expensive and inaccurately charged by the waitress who then wanted to charge us more. The manager was rude and dismissive. The red roasted pepper hummus was like water and spilled into the regular hummus! The cucumbers onions and olives also dumped into the compartments. This was not leftovers! Why weren't the dips sent in separate containers? The pita triangles that came with the dip were hard and stale not like the ones that came with the falafel that were warm and grilled. I love this place. This is the place you make your "usual spot". This can be the spot they film FRIENDS or SEINFELD at. Food was good. Environment was good. Service was good. Surrounding was good. Waitress, host, chef, all good and friendly. Close to home. You can enjoy the morning walk to it, and enjoy the walk home. Seems independently owned and a family business, unlike the chain restaurants around that don't really care about your business or pleasing customers anymore. Food is good and consistent, especially breakfast. Ambience is small but quaint. The biggest problem is they always leave the doors open between the inside and outside. I always thought that was a health department No no, but it does not appear in their health inspection. They only close those doors when it's too cold outside. Open doors are opportunities for rodent and bird droppings as well as flies.. Service during breakfast is normally impeccable. I went an hour later than I normally go a few weeks ago and the new servers were subpar. I had to wait 15 minutes for a glass of water and could not get refills on coffee. Our normal servers, Tina and Bella were there but taking care of other people. This week I went to get carry out for dinner, and while waiting there was a staff person sitting at a table, appeared to be sleeping and had her head on the table. Yes head and hair on the table The others were trying to figure out how to open a bottle of wine and it scared me. I thought they were going to hurt themselves.
