They very quickly and professionally took care of a small micro-soldering job that was required to fix a damaged speaker connector on my iPad Pro 10.5 that happened during a recent battery replacement by another shop. The other shop took full responsibility for the connector issue and both referred me to Swift Repairs as well as took care of paying for the required fix in advance. I dropped it off and picked it up a couple of hours later. Now I have a fully functional iPad Pro 10.5 with four working speakers and am very pleased. The dude at the front desk was honest and kind. I said that I didn't want to wait for my insurance (I figured I would have to send my phone to them), and he told me that I should absolutely use go through my insurance, because the repair I needed would cost me over $300. I am SO glad I listened, because I ended up only paying $29 to my insurance (instead of the $99 I thought it would be), and still had my phone same-day (took an hour, and t-mobile ended up having an in-house insurance claim center at one location. I will come back and buy accessories here, and reccomend this place to everyone I know, because their honestly saved me a lot of money. Alllllsooo...this store was CLEAN. Super clean. Phone: iPhone XS Repair: Front screen Cost: $115.00 I brought my iPhone here for a screen repair. The price was fair, but not cheap. (They offer $5 off if you leave a Google review). After they fixed my phone, the touchscreen was buggy so I told them. First they told me I was wrong, then they soon admitted it was buggy and re-repaired it (this took an extra 30 minutes). It now works almost as good as new, but it's still slightly harder to use than before. Overall they are competent and quick, but my phone was not repaired to as good as new for the not-cheap price of $115. Not great. Also the customer service is poor and not once did I receive a "Sorry" or an offer of a discount for the fact they had to repair it twice due to their own error. If my wife's iphone was a cat, it would only have 7 lives left. The most recent brush with death was getting a 75 minute hot water wash, including high speed spin, in a front load wash machine. It emerged with a cracked screen, in a continuous reboot cycle, failed backlight and other issues. After learning that Apple and Verizon would not have replacements for a month, I emailed Swift on a Sunday night and got a quick reply saying to bring it in on Monday morning because they could probably fix it. On Moday I was at the door when Aden arrived and explained the issues. I waited while he opened the phone to see what he was up against, and then provided a very reasonable cost estimate to clean and dry the phone, remove corrosion from the motherboard, and hopefully get everything back working. Adan called me about an hour later and explained that the fix would be more expensive because the phone needed a new screen (to fix the failed backlight), and a new camera module because water killed the zoom and wide angle lenses. The quote was very reasonable given the high cost of those parts. Three hours later the phone was as good as new except for the facial recogniation (which is laser-based and not servicable) and the need to install the camera part when it arrives tomorrow. The fact that the phone went from dead and buried to nearly fully functional is amazing, and the cost was less than half of what it would have cost me to replace the phone. Adan explained what was wrong, what he did, what my options were, etc. He was very professional and very fast. I HIGHLY recommend these guys. The repairs are fast, reasonably priced and warranteed. My Google Pixel 3XL phone died and wouldn't power up. I took it to another closer place first. But it turned out to be a problem with the motherboard that the other place couldn't work on. They said Swift repairs was the only place in San Diego that might even look at it. So I gave them a try and they were able to fix it! I got all my pictures and data back and can use my phone again. Swift repairs took a look and called me back that same day. It was a busted power management IC chip that needed to be replaced. They made sure I was really sure about fixing it before going ahead. I wanted my pictures so it was worth the cost. They ordered the part and got it in right away and fixed it. All good now. I would definitely recommend Swift Repairs. Tried to take it to another place and they said they would have to charge me at least 160 just to get the tiny Crack in my screen fixed, then they would see how much the rest would cost. Then I decided to shop around and landed on this place. I believe it was Rafi who helped me.
