    Pretzel bites
    Jen T.

I have never heard of Swig before! It caught my attention when neighbors started talking about it. I've been trying to wean off coffee, so why not have soda instead lol. At Swig, you can create your own soda flavor, or choose from the suggested list. There were so many options to customize your Dr. Pepper. Since it was later in the day, I went for the something caffeine-free: Loop-T-Loop = sprite + strawberry + watermelon + peach. It was tasty, but a little on the sour side. My hubby got the Riptide (sprite + cranberry + raspberry purée + fresh lime), and it was just perfect and delicious. Their pretzel bites came out fresh and warm. The buttery glaze really takes it to the next level; and the white cheddar cheese was warm - definitely a must for dipping the pretzel bites. My puppy came along with a pleasant surprise of a pup cup! I'll certainly be back to try more flavors, and maybe sneak in a cookie or two.

I heard about Swig from a friend as she went on and on about how good their drinks are, but she won me over with two words: butter beer. So I came to visit her today and she once again was like we have to go try out Swig so I ordered the butter beer, she ordered something with raspberry purée - she went on and on about how great it was and I won't lie my butter beer was good as well. However this place missed the mark with the food. We ordered the pretzel bites, cookies and she whoopie pie. As they had been here before they asked that the cookies be warmed a bit and they were happy to do that. However the pretzel bites are a huge MISS! They taste like they were microwaved in the sense that the bread is chewy and greasy. You get a choice of queso or strawberry cream cheese. Meh for both options. The queso lacks flavor, the cream cheese offering is too small for the amount of bites you get. The whoopie pie was hard on the outside versus what I'm accustomed to and I could have do without it. Came back when I was leaving her house and the service I received was phenomenal. I asked for suggestions and the guy suggested something that wasn't on the menu which was delicious. The tea was meh and I will stick with the dirt drinks. So if you are looking for a cool new drink this is by far better that the place down by the highway with the good ice but stick to the drinks and you can thank me later. The saving Grace

Cool mixed soft drink spot. Lots of options, friendly staff. Sweet tea and energy drinks can be picked up here too.

Another incorrect drink- no cream, no lime or syrup. Just Diet Coke. THIS IS THEIR STAPLE DRINK!!!!

I ordered a 44 oz Founder. I received just a Diet Coke. Of course, as usual, there was no cream, no lime and no coconut. You'll notice on the label that I did not customize it. This was at 9:30 in the morning and I was the only person in the drive thru. This is pathetic.

Wish they offered first responder or military discount. Other than that they are always really nice and their drinks are great!

But, a hot tottie always seems to help; and liq-o-Rama did not fail to disappoint at all. Their prices are a little bit higher than other spots and their location is a little sketchy, but they do have some great deals and I was able to walk out with some whiskey, three large shots of fireball, and a large can of spiked seltzer for $20?!? Where else can this happen?!? It is right by my work too, which makes it super convenient to pop by and grab something when I've had a long day. They also have a great beer and wine selection and the lady at the counter was cordial and recommended the pineapple infused whiskey I selected, which turned out to be amazing!! I would recommend checking this spot out!

I took it right back to the store to see if I can exchange it, I let the cashier know what was going on, and I did not feel safe drinking it, she stated there is nothing they can do, no exchange. I went back to the wine section to see if they had any to compare, come to find out all the Sutter Home Chardonnay 4pk they had was dark in color, all expired, the Tito's vodka was watered down!! SAD!! I went to my regular liquor store to ask them if they exchange bottles that are bad and showed him what I purchased. Come to find out, Liq-Q-Rama changed management and changed policies. I would never recommend this store, they are selling expired liquor. If I would have drank that and got sick, I would sue the hell out of them!! Be aware!!

Super friendly staff, ready to answer questions and share drink recipes. I was pleasantly surprised with the huge selections because the store looks small from the outside. The store is clean, inviting, and we'll organized. They have huge discounts on liqueur, champagne, and spirits they will stop carrying in order to make room for new brands. I ended up buying several smaller testers to see what might be good for the thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. I'll be going back once I make a decision. In the meantime, I replenished my home bar with the necessities.

They also have some nice all natural and organic cocktails and liquors. I bought a wide range of items that should satisfy us and any guests for a few weekends. Now that folks are starting to socialize again, I figured I should restock my home bar. Prices are good considering they carry a lot of high quality and hard to find items. Park in the back by the restaurants. There is an entry door on that side as well. If you park on that side of the strip, you don't have to walk up the steps to an entry door. I think the business is family owned. All employees have been nice and friendly when I've been here. If you are looking for typical name brands or something special, check this place out.

The building is a newer renovated building, currently it's in a bit of an odd place, especially with all of the construction going on around it. It's not off the highway nor is it near a main road. Yet, it's a big building with a decent amount of stock. It's the size of an old 7 Eleven, so that gives you some scale. The shelves are all wood and self made. Doesn't look like it has proper support, definitely not where I was looking in the whiskey section. The selection for whiskey wasn't a vast as other locations, yet they did have some rare finds that were still at MSRP, which is a huge plus, they aren't marking items up just because they are sought after. However, the location this store sits in isn't really a harbinger for attracting high end clients that will spend $100-$200 on premium whiskey and spirits. Tho, this is why I search out these stores, as they usually have exactly what I'm looking for, unlike the big stores in the high traffic and high economy locations. They had my Buffalo Trace and Elijah Craig. They did have some more rare brands behind the counter, which is normal. Moving on to the staff, the gentleman that greeted me followed me around like I was either a possible thief or he was just bored. Not sure which. It made me a bit uncomfortable. Being my first visit, I wanted to see what they had and what the overall price points were. I asked if he had a few specific ones, Wellars, Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare, Oregon Trail, First Call, Woodford Reserve, Grangestone .... they had a few of these but not all. Grangeston is a Scotch, and I didn't see any scotch at all. Oregon Trail and First call in all fairness is a not so widely known brand, tho very good, I've only found them at Total Wine, tho they aren't exclusive brands. This isn't my normal stomping grounds, it's likely I won't visit again unless I just happen to pass through and want more Buffalo Trace.

I'm passing through, not from Texas. I called and they told me they had what I was looking for. I…read morehung up and arrived to buy the item they told me they had. Should be investigated for fraud and false/misleading information! I was discriminated against is how it seems. Like car salesman trying to bait me into a crazy purchase to get what I wanted to buy.
