Meh. I've had better I've had worse froyo. Their banana flavor tasted like fake laffy taffy syrup or something. It was...not good. The peanut butter flavor however was tasty. Very expensive. A drop of froyo with a sprinkle of blueberries was $6 which I think is crazy for 3 spoonfuls of froyo. Maybe it's been a while since I've been to a spot like this but I remember them being really good. Oh well. Maybe I didn't choose the best flavors. Stopped in here minutes before closing time, as I had a sweet tooth on the way back from leaving an amazing Yelp Elite event. Many flavors and toppings to choose from. I got a cup (non weighted) of cake batter and vanilla soft serve. I was a little disappointed the pistachio machine was down, but eh. Any how, I proceeded to go with peanuts and brownies as my topping. Wasn't sure how I was going to like that combo, but it hit the spot! The non weighted cost is $7 and change. Pricey but not bad because you can choose how many flavors and add how much you want in the cup and its the flat $7. I might have to frequent a Swirls and Twirls more often. Hello there my Yelpers. I stumbled onto swirls and twirls today and what luck I had to do this. Today, I went into Swirls and Twirls and was immediately greeted by a Cassie. She was working behind the counter. She was so very present, happy and accommodating to me as she basically offered me a taste of whatever I wanted. I proceeded to try, salted caramel..OMG , espresso...yum, peppermint strachiatell (did I spell that correctly?) And the toasted almond!!! All were so amazingly delicious and stimulating to the pallet. She then made me a medium (overstuffed) cup of the ones I tried.....delicious!!! Afterwards, I got into a talk with Rocco, the owner, who by my luck, was just putting out some strawberry cheesecake gelato. To my luck at being in the right place at the right time....he offered me a taste. I passed due to the fact that my tastebuds were already on a roll....baby! Swirls and twirls in an amazing Icecream, gelato and frozen yogurt place. There selections are too much for someone who gets excited easily!!! Haha. The toppings that they have are plentiful. Went there yesterday. Was horrible. They always have machines that don't work. Don't know which flavor it was, but took spoonful and it tasted spoiled. Asked my child to try it and she said gross. Ruined my finishing it. I will not go back to this place. Am surprised they are still opened. They should have all their flavors working. And check for spoilage. Waste of $$. read more

I have been a regular custom for years at both Oceanside (being that I live here) and Massapequa (when I visit my mom). I used to live to put my own toppings on with the all you can fill deal. Of course they had to put a stop to it when COVID hit so now you have to ask the worker to do it. I prefer to do it myself, but I understand that majority of people probably prefer the way it is now for sanitary reasons. The prices kept increasing, which I completely understand, especially nowadays. I go to get my All You Can Fill cup and when I take the cup out, it's smaller! I just put the cup back and walked right out of the store. So you increase your prices AND decrease the amount of product?? That's where I draw the line. Stop in for dessert. Choices of many flavors, but a few machines were down. Many lower fat choices, only 2 sugar free options. Ordering by weight or a pay one price cup. Many many toppings to select. The place was not super crowded but was a little on the messy side. Its a lot of work for only 2 teenagers to keep serving and cleaning. It seemed a little overwhelming for the staff, they probably need a third worker to make the place more efficiently cared for. Horrible experience at this location. My two year old son and I went in for some froyo and the place was swarming with incredibly rowdy teens (owner's daughter and her friends). They were rude, loud, disruptive, pushed us multiple times. Their bikes (dozens of them) were blocking the entrance (fire hazard) and we couldn't use any of the outdoor seating either. Updating my review bc management was nice enough to contact me apologizing and offering my next yogurt on them. I respect that! I have been here before my past experience and never had a problem. So the all you can fill cup was about $7. The regular cup gets weighted. I got the regular cup because on their yelp there's a dollar off coupon which I was excited to use. Brand new outfit of the popular new fro yo shop. Has basically the same flavors as the other locations. Highlights include the peanut butter yogurt swirled with berry yogurt creating a PBJ. I also liked the seating here. The large padded bench was very comfortable. Berries were fresh, wide selection of fruit, candy toppings to add to your fro yo. Came in here for the first time. Pretty cool place. Trying to figure out what to do. I thought I picked the large cup for like 5 dollars and change. When I went to counter, I had no idea they weigh it on a scale. It came to $9.03 for a cup of yogurt with some toppings. I admit the toppings were impressive but not worth the money. I was out to dinner with family and friends and I was the only one who wanted yogurt. It would have been hard to believe paying 40.00 for yogurt. The truth be told, small business cannot survive here in NY without overcharging customers. Taxes, regulations, overhead, labor and food cost. What do you expect here? Had my daughter's 9th birthday here and it was amazing! It's such a cute place to begin with but the added touch of balloons and fun table covers made it that much better! Unfortunately they do not close the shop for birthday parties but it was no biggie since they really don't have high traffic and people tended to stay away when they saw a party going on. Also I think this is why you can save a little on the price. Our hostess was super friendly and attentive. My daughter and her friends did fun things such as face painting and bracelet making. They also enjoyed sampling all the fun flavors and the awesome selection of toppings. I will say that they could use some different flavors. Maybe they can swap out the least popular ones. Big spacious froyo place. There's a deal where you pay $4.50 and get as much as you can stuff in a cup, which is pretty impressive. Lots of toppings. I had raspberry sorbet, which was okay (I don't eat dairy). But I liked the swirling idea, which you can also find other places (ex. graham cracker + marshmallow = s'mores). Amazing! I would recommend using the normal cups and not the decorated ones because they are almost the same, and the normal cups have a definite price and the decorated ones are weighed. The flavors are great and the toppings are also amazing! Sometimes one topping can go into another topping which isn't good if your allergic to something that spilled over into the topping you want. It's easy for someone to sneeze into the toppings because they aren't covered. I ordered an ice cone and asked for blue-raspberry. The worker gave me about half of the cup, and barley gave me any blue-raspberry. The next time I went I asked for the same thing and made sure I got what I payed for. There's a huge selection of toppings and a ton of flavors. They do "swirled" flavors which is a combo of two, nothing different from a bunch of places I've seen, but a good way to market it. Hey yall its me again but this review is not a good one. Customer service is important. Most business when they have a paying customer ready to go they will acknowledge the customer and get them out the store right. Not this place. Me and my children were in Ocean side having a great Sunday, when we entered this location to try the yogurt. First thing, the young female employee was swiping and she was rude because she didnt say excuse me as she came in the area we were ( getting yogurt) and almost swipe my 4 year olds feet. I just moved him out the way. Didnt say anything. Then my daughter finished making her 6 dollar yogurt bowl and we stood in front of the register waiting for someone to assist us with our purchases. The young guy was helping someone else make ice cream. Ok thats cool. He called the same girl with the broom over to ring us up, but she proceeds to make someone else smoothies. So we wait. Neither one of them acknowledged us paying customers standing there for over 10 min. Then he stands in front of the register and instead of him ringing us up he starts ro ring the guy up he was assisting with the ice cream. The guy is walking over to people at the yogurt and says im getting more stuff. And still he proceeds to ring this guy up and he is not ready. I look at my daughter and say put that on the counter and we leave. Red mango we went. People need to learn customer service. This place gets a zero from me. read more

Girl at register didn't give the right special and they were unable to go into the register to cancel the transaction for the correct one. I posted a while back and tonight was the capper. I saw a blob of yogurt on the floor and told one of the girls up front about it. She brought out a broom and swept it up, ignoring all the rest of the toppings on the floor. Then when I reach the counter after I paid the girl just looked at me and I asked for a cover. She put the cover on and just stared at me. I had to ask for a bag and spoon. I guess she thought I would just carry it out in my hand. I don't like to put down a whole generation but some teenagers today are just about the laziest. Don't even get me started about the tip jar. If you want a tipping job then you'll get a tipping salary, which is about $5 an hour. So make up your mind, you can't have it both ways. And what exactly am I tipping for here? I bring my children here often I live in Oceanside when I was there friday a new girl was working SHE WAS AWESOME, she stuck out over the other girls working there the past times I came, so friendly and nice to my children! I forgot her name but I asked her what days she worked and she told me the weekends! I will go there every weekend with my kids just to see her she brightened up me and my children's days!
