SwitchOn Pro came out twice so far and made sure everything works. First, a handyman (sent by residents property management) tried to install our Nest thermostat but crossed the wires and the furnace wouldn't work. Adam worked with me to quickly make an appointment, zeroed in on the problem (a bad fuse and bad wiring) and had all the things with him to fix it. Then, we wanted to put in a video doorbell and a keyless lock and he came back to install it. Even though there were some issues with the old door, he and his team did it. At first I was reluctant to write this review, since Adam is one of my oldest and dearest friends. I didn't want other customers thinking the review was biased, or a favor for a buddy. But I finally realized that knowing Adam for so long is actually a benefit for other customers. My experience with him was not simply over the course of a few days while he installed my system; I've known him for decades. And over that time, I've gotten to know just the kind of man he is. He's been there for me in ways no one else has, and has always been there to support me no matter the hour or effort required. Fortunately for customers of SwitchOn Pro, Adam carries that same ethos to his business. My wife and I recently opened a French bakery and café in San Diego, and we wanted to make sure we had good security, lighting and music systems in place. Adam consulted with us, asking what our needs were, and recommended a system he felt was right for us. To be frank, at first we were a little bit skeptical. Of course we trust Adam completely, but we wanted a system that was easy to use. We were worried it would be difficult to use, or overly complicated. We wanted a light switch to just be a light switch, the music to come on with the push of a button. Since we were unfamiliar with any smart technology, Adam reassured us the system he installed would be simple, even for a Luddite like me. The installation was perfect. Adam is the neatest, cleanest, most organized person I know. Every wire was neatly put away out of sight, every hole patched and painted, every piece of equipment as sleek and unobtrusive as possible. The camera angles are perfect. The speakers sound magnificent, crystal clear and filling the space with warm sound. The lighting scenes are organized in the most logical way possible. Now that it's in, I cannot tell you how often I use our system. Anytime day or night, I can pull up my phone and check the cameras to see if we've had any issues with vandalism, or someone sleeping in our doorway, or I've left the lights or music or AC on. I can control every feature at our establishment from anywhere in the world, all from my phone. When my wife is working there early in the morning rolling out dough, I can check to see if she made it okay and is safe inside. Given the issues we've had with vandalism and break-ins, that gives me tremendous peace of mind. In fact, the police detectives have been tremendously impressed with the quality of our images and videos. And the support from SwitchOn Pro doesn't stop after installation. Adam is always there to answer any questions I have, or help us set up new features. I'd say he's also been there to troubleshoot any problems, but we haven't had any! His installation was masterful. He also stays up to date with all the latest research on the technology, from quality to security, so customers know they're getting the latest and greatest. I cannot recommend SwitchOn Pro highly enough. The entire experience was as easy as it could've possibly been. Adam walked us through every step of the way to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. We live in a very rural area where the cable and internet service is not great. I had cancelled cable service to internet only, bought a new modem and hooked up Eero. We live stream now but I was having problems with my internet in this rural area. Adam was able to assess the problem with cables hooked up that slowed down my internet speed and even changed settings on my television so we have better picture and sound; now everything works great.
