The site was clean and well manicured with a good distance away from other campers. Two pools, one for adults, the other children and a hot tub. Ten shower/restrooms that have laundry and a station outside for washing dishes. Overall a very nice campground. My only critique is a little more attention to the restrooms as the garbage was often overflowing. I truly appreciate when a business responds to a review/critique and takes steps measures to make things better. For that, I'm adding a star .

Definitely have to get some homemade pie from the Purple Pie House, blueberry, apple and bumbleberry were delicious warmed ip with a scoop of Vanilla ice cream! The Claw Antler & Hide store had very unique and cool items bought antler whistles for the grandkids. Had the best buffalo burger at Black Hills Burger and Bun but go early its very popular! Renter Beware! Reserved a specific cabin (#7) for this years 2025 Sturgis Rally. I made the…read morereservation 1 yeat in advance with a deposit. Upon arrival, without notification, they Cabin 7 to someone else. I specifically reserved it for the convenience of easy access and ample room to part both my truck and Harley. When the front desk people told me they moved me to another cabin behind #7, they said someone else needed that cabin because of camping gear and closer trailer access. They cabin they moved me to did not even have enough room for both my bike and truck. When asking for an explanation, Twila, the manager said "I dont like your attitude and if you don't like it, stay somewhere else". Even after reserving a specic cabin with a deposit, they don't care. I traveled all the way from California and Twila knew that finding new accommodations under $1000 a night would be impossible. Never trust the cabin you reserved will be available and be prepared to ask to leave if you dont like it!

Steve is SO nice, our stay is very cheap! the campground is very well maintained and clean, bathrooms and showers are very very clean, very beautiful view. Lots of room options ; tent camp, tv, tipi, wagon, cabin, camping keg! The highway wasn't an issue at all, still very quiet from the site. All and all 10/10 for this place. Will definitely come back if I'm ever given the opportunity!

Store has everything you forgot as well as things you just have to buy! Small restaurant open and they have espresso. Pool is clean and easy to sit around or splash around in. Large jump play area that keeps the kids occupied! Laundry and 2 bath houses. A definite spot to return to.

Trails were well marked and scenic. Campsites were beautiful and well planned. Bathhouses were impeccably clean and spacious. We will definitely be returning!
