We had a fire ring and location is somewhat hilly so difficult for handicap to get around. All in all a great location and easy to find. Nice general store on site. Definitely have to get some homemade pie from the Purple Pie House, blueberry, apple and bumbleberry were delicious warmed ip with a scoop of Vanilla ice cream! The Claw Antler & Hide store had very unique and cool items bought antler whistles for the grandkids. Had the best buffalo burger at Black Hills Burger and Bun but go early its very popular! Sunset RV Park is a small yet spacious park in the Black Hills that's geared for adults and seniors. Back-in sites with full hook-ups offering 30 and 50 amp receptacles, septic, and water. Located an easy 2 miles from downtown Custer. Picnic tables, yard games, community fire pit, and pet friendly. You must be self contained. We stayed in #6 campsite, which has trees, flowers and hanging bird feeders. We woke to birds chirping. We loved Bill and Tami...wonderful hosts. Quiet, peaceful...we felt safe and close to Custer State Park! Can't wait to go back!

Fire rings, volleyball net, propane and excellent water pressure are all big pluses. Two stars are because they say they have WiFi and they do, however it's only available for about 1/2 the property. I complained about it and was told to unplug and enjoy nature and my neighbors. If we had not prepaid our stay we would have been gone. Lots of other parks to choose from in the immediate area. If I didn't feel like I had been conned I would given them 5 stars.

The size was great, the location was easy to find, GPS lead me straight there and there was plenty of signage to make sure I was going to the right spot. The cabin itself was very clean and well stocked with towels, blankets, and pillows. I found the bed very comfortable. We had an issue with the fire alarms, however it was resolved by the owners promptly. The cabin was like one cabin split in 2, so we had the front half and had some neighbors on the back half. It felt very separated though and we never even saw our neighbors. The price was cheap for what you get. They had tons of dishes ready to use and even had some gallons of water ready to go in the fridge. The WiFi was great, lost the tv signal for a bit while it was storming but that is expected. I was impressed and I'd rent this place again in the future if I'm ever in the area again!

It's close to everything we wanted to see. We camped at Custer mountain cabins and campground. It was a gorgeous campground and had some great amenities as well. The employees were absolutely awesomely well. They had a bathhouse with flushing toilets and nice size showers. A campers kitchen with a sink for dishes, microwave, water kettle and a charging station for electronics. There was also a full laundromat.
