" if you are not white, Don't even try " Very racist, bad customer service, you can't even communicate with them, they are not polite and they are very nasty. ""Be careful ""

Delicious baked goods, pastries, breads. Large variety. They offer traditional old fashioned plain Polish babka which is hard to find. Not the fake chocolate or cinnamon style, but the real deal. Oh, they have those too if that's what you want, but for my Polish side of the family they wanted old school for the Memorial Day weekend.

Grabbed a poppyseed strudel at met food from Syrena Bakery. Thankful for the convenience of having local, fresh baked goods at the market. Strudel was soft, fresh, not too sweet. Perfect accompaniment for morning coffee. Will def grab a babka next time. Rating is for the food only. I did not go in shop.

Good neighborhood Polish bakery. Delicious bread and bagels. Many people come to order breakfast baked goods and lunch sandwiches there. I enjoy their bagels which have a nice chewy texture expected from a bagel and their freshly sliced specialty bread, walnut raisin, cranberry, and rye. I have found the danish and donut were lacking filling; mostly bread like and dry. Maybe it's the Polish style.

If you have a sweet tooth, this place is a trap. Lol For years I would walk past and there was a lone out the door every morning. This morning I bought the apple meringue cake and a sneaky co-worker swiped it when I put it down. I tasted a sliver and it was really good. The cake was a little drier than I'm used to but the flavor was good and not overly sweet like many cakes. The apple filling added just the right amount of sweetness. Bummed that I didnt enjoy the piece from earlier, I doubled back for another piece but I got the fruit cake and apple cake. I got the last piece and I see why. This fruit cake was nothing like the nasty fruit cake we get during holiday season. It was very moist and it fell apart. The only thing is I got the corner piece and it was too hard for my liking but it was so good. The slices are generous and enough to share. Everything is sold by the pound. The coffee was decent. It was as strong as my usual drink but it seemed to be a medium roast. I'll be back.

I found this bakery walking home after work, they were baking at night and the smells were so incredible I had to look it up to come back. The first time I got two cakes and one was this like chocolate cheesecake with fresh fruit on top? My bf says he's thought about it genuinely every day since we had it (it's been a week today) so I went back today and they didn't have it but I got plenty new stuff to try. I didn't want to be bold and say this is one of the best bakeries I've ever been to but then action Bronson walked in and I KNEW I was valid. Plus the women who work here are all very kind (and drop dead gorgeous, like generations of gorgeous). they offer pleasant service in English and polish

Their bread is amazingly fresh always and affordable. What's not to like? It's the only good place for fresh bread this side of Greenpoint.

First time coming in person (I have been spoiled and a fantastic coworker would bring in different…read moretreats from here on occasion). The space is relatively small, with a line inside and outside and a few tables outside. The length of the line and wait time varies based on the time of day and if you go on a weekday vs weekend. Go early if you don't want them to sell out of anything or purposely go a little later if you want one of their lunch sandwiches on focaccia. I have had the tomato and garlic focaccia twice now and each time it has been exceptional. Minor critique, the slices of garlic could be a bit smaller. I also had the shakshuka focaccia which is divine and I would absolutely recommend both. I need to come back to try their sandwiches as well. I am not a sweets person, but everyone I know loves their pastries. Getting someone a gif tcard here makes for a great gift.

I'm usually more of a savory girlie but all the sweet items we tried were great, especially the rhubarb croissant and the earl grey morning bun. I really enjoyed the focaccia sandwiches (smoked salmon and pea/mint/feta were elite) and the artichoke green garlic slice. The flavor of the sesame stirato was excellent but the bread itself was a tad too chewy for the filling we got with it (tuna salad), so that style probably works better with the jambon beurre. Will definitely be on the rotation whenever I'm in the city -- would love to try some of their seasonal/limited edition items one day, though not sure if I have it in me to brave the lines that can form on the weekends, lol! We'll see :)

Radio Bakery... is perfection. I completely understand the line…read more I first ordered the heirloom tomato & feta sandwich, which was unbelievable. It is so clear that they use incredibly high-quality ingredients and carefully curate each component, which is exactly why everything comes together in such an elevated way. The tomatoes reminded me of the ones I grew in my garden during California summers as a teenager. Perfectly salted, layered over soft, not-too-tart feta. The focaccia was made with beautiful olive oil and, while a bit chewier than I usually prefer, gave the sandwich a satisfying bite. I had to close my eyes while eating it just to savor it. The chocolate cherry almond croissant... wow. Such a creative combination, and it did not disappoint. Soft, buttery, and filled with a sour cherry compote that reminded me of a cherry cordial from a box of chocolates. 5/5. Hainsley, who helped me, was exceptionally lovely. Everyone even in line was very nice, the vibes were awesome. I'll definitely be back to try the spicy tofu sandwich and the heirloom tomato tart!

While they didn't have their full selection available, there were still plenty of pastries to choose from. We ended up getting the vanilla kouign amann and the chocolate PB&J croissant. The kouign amann was flaky, buttery, and beautifully caramelized. The chocolate PB&J croissant was easily our favorite. It was filled with rich, decadent chocolate and a layer of jelly that balanced everything out without making it overly sweet. My significant other hasn't stopped talking about it since! We're already looking forward to coming back to try more.
