Really great guys to work with. There we're a few issues but they were dealt with quickly and to our satisfaction. All the issues were understandable as our original designer had an accident and was unable to work so our job was handed over to another person who did a great job. I am impressed that System Pavees was able to make such a smooth change over. Do not believe all System Pavers multiple 25 year warranties: took 5 months and court intervention to resolve my claim. Court responded "warranty discrepancy, evidence of defective work proven by a preponderance of the evidence ". See attached picture of inferior cement installation after 4 years. Do you want pavers w/ permanent leaf stains that require expensive solvent and much labor to partially remove? A beautiful initial project which has degraded quickly. Our design consultant, Rob, came up with a great patio design that we loved. System Pavers' bid was more than twice the amount of any other company's bid for the job. We were willing to pay top dollar to have a high quality patio without any difficulty or complications. The problems started immediately after we signed the contract. When the project manager, Tyler, came out, he measured our patio incorrectly, shorting us 4 feet off of the original design. We had to inform him of the error. Tyler was sick and did not show up to correct his measurements. When the team came out to build the patio, the work crew had nothing to work with besides incorrect measurements. We talked to the workers to inform them of the error, but we ran into some language barriers communicating the issues. Tyler did not come out until the project was almost done and told us that all of the errors were normal. The team was supposed to remove the concrete pad by the deck steps to build the patio. Instead, they built the patio on top of the concrete pad. One step was only 2 inches high. Our dog and son both fell off the steps. The city said it was a code violation due to safety reasons. System Pavers admitted it was their error, but made us pay extra money to fix it. Tyler pressured me into signing the certificate of completion, without my husband present, before he would allow the team to begin work fixing the steps. Tyler harassed me again to pay more money to fix the steps than what was agreed on. During the project, we noticed they changed the shape and size of the patio, once again cutting corners. They made it smaller than was agreed on. They also removed two zones of our irrigation system and now we will have to have that fixed in the spring. We have put in multiple service requests last month with System Pavers, but no one has contacted us. We started with process in July, signed with System Pavers in August, and here we are in January 2021 without the patio we paid for. Now we are considering hiring an attorney because System Pavers refuses to respond to us. Just days before the project started, we were informed that all of the Colorado crews were busy, so they were sending up crews from south Texas. We paid top dollar and felt very bad for the work crew. They worked 11+ hour days in the middle of winter without any bathroom facility provided. It makes us feel bad that the workers did not seem to be treated very well. read more

While the end result was eventually done exactly to design, the installation process took a little more communication between us and the company than I expected. For the price paid, I thought everything would go perfectly, without any input from us. To be fair, when issues were raised, the project manager addressed them immediately and effectively. But I think there should have been better communication and project oversight between the salesman/designer and project manager. My back patio had a significant step to the ground - particularly at the north end. I called System pavers. We've considered to have our patio extended and decided use System Pavers company. The construction -and cost evaluation was very easy. Finance options and promotions had been explained. Within 1 week the crew was able to start on our project. Alex was the main project manager. He had visited several days before the start-up and evaluated the project proposal. On the day of the project start up, Alex was joined by Javier, who was the onsite manager, in conjunction with Yan, Wilber, and Gabriel, who were the main construction implementation team. The project completion took 4 days, and the crew did a fantastic job, Alex and Javier visited the site every day, sometimes twice, and made sure that any issues and changes that came up during construction were addressed. We could not have been more pleased in the way Alex and his team worked tirelessly to complete the job at hand. We had systems pavers come out today and yesterday, in the freezing cold, and fulfill their warranty agreement on our large patio they installed a few years ago. The patio had settled and sunk in a few areas, and they very willingly agreed to come and repair it. Jamie was our main contact, but Oscar did the amazing work in 29 degrees. I have only provided reviews for a few companies I have particularly liked along the way. System Pavers has earned one of those reviews. My family decided we wanted to remove some broken concrete and an unsightly tree in our front yard in order to make space for a sitting area/front porch. We called about five different vendors for estimates. The estimates varied in price drastically. I had vendors saying they would start the next day and some saying they wouldn't start without a massive down payment. I smelled issues right away with those vendors. System Pavers was the last company I contacted. A designer, Rob, came out to my house, listened to what we were attempting to accomplish. He quickly provided renderings. We went back and forth over a week or so and came to an agreement on the rendering and pricing. It was a joy working with Rob as he was professional and timely. We outlined our budget and he worked with it to design a truly remarkable paver area. I should note that System Pavers was not the cheapest option. They were actually the most expensive option. However, the professionalism, Rob's attention to detail, and 25 year warranty are what sold us on using System Pavers and spending the extra money. We've been burned by contractors in the past. You get what you pay for in this industry for sure. From the time we booked until the time of installation was actually several months. This occurred right during the COVID shutdown, so I did not fault System Pavers for getting backlogged. The demo took about a day and a half, while the building of our patio was about 3 days. The workers on site were truly fantastic. They listened to concerns and did absolutely impeccable work. Our front yard has an uneven grade. They took this into consideration when putting in the pavers and when constructing a pony wall. Tim, the project manager, was at the project daily and answered all questions we had in a timely fashion. He actually suggested a few things different than that of the designer, which we ended up going with to make the project a bit better. We recently replaced our driveway, walkway and front porch with System Pavers in less than two weeks from start to finish! Heavy rains several years ago had caused heaving and sinking, and a dumpster on the driveway had caused the concrete to crack. We called System Pavers after seeing them at the Boat Show and they sent out a sales rep/project designer immediately. The presentation was impressive, and we were offered nice incentives to lower the price, which we accepted. We visited their showroom to be sure we liked our selections. We needed HOA approval. Our rep put all the specs together for them, in addition to a list of nearby addresses they could visit to see how the finished project would look, so the process was efficient and painless. We decided we had so much confidence in the project manager that we left for vacation the day before the project started and returned to a beautiful new driveway and porch a week later. Neighbors tell us they love the look. The 25 year warranty was a big selling point for us. No more living with uneven and hard-to-shovel surfaces. If something goes wrong they just come out and replace the stones that need attention. It was a big investment, and we are happy to have made it. read more

I was enticed by this company's 25 year warranty on pavers because I know pavers can uplift and crack. I was searching for an estimate for a project that I had projected out to the Spring of 2020 so I decided to acquire a free estimate. The salesman Rob showed up for an estimated 1.5 hour appointment. Upon his arrival, he greeted me and told me I was in luck because he was an "architect".He proceeded to show me a video about his company. He asked me several questions about my house siding and asked why I had selected the company to replace the siding. He did not seem to interested in my specific ideas and said he has already googled my property. Rob proceeded to measure and draw the design. Five hours later I was surprised to see him still on the premises after I returned from an appointment. He gave me his sales pitch. He quoted me a price of $122,000 and then said he could decrease the price to about $80,000 with various discounts. He said don't worry about the senior discount because they don't check. Was I ready to sign on to guarantee the price? I said absolutely not. It was really difficult to get him out the door. I told him that I would like to see the products he was recommending at the showroom. My experience at the showroom was rushed. Rob had other clients there. He showed my project to them without my permission. He bragged to the couple that my project was his biggest project of the year. I told Rob that I was not at all satisfied with the plan and that I had other ideas that I wanted to add including plantings etc. I told him that his plan had too many pavers and that I wanted some variety. He assured me that I could make changes at any time. He advised me to sign on to this price quote so we could lock into the price of the pavers. He said my deposit could be refunded up until the time that the pavers were ordered. I reminded him that the project would not be possible until the Spring of 2020. He told me time and time again that that was ok. I left for a two week vacation. While on my vacation, System Paver's project manager called me to schedule a walk through. I thought that an error had been made. We did not even have a concrete plan. The day that I returned from vacation, Xcel came to locate my power lines as directed by System Pavers for a project to be started in the next two weeks. At this point, I finally began to listen to my intuition. This company was not ethical and was not going to meet my needs. I called Rob and told him that I wanted to discontinue working with him. He insisted on meeting with me in person and he explained that I probably would not get my deposit back because the project had proceeded so far along. How could the project have proceeded so far along when we didn't have an approved plan?I told him that he was deceptive and that I would rather not work with a company that had such despicable ethics. It was again difficult to get him out the door as he insisted that my best option was to continue with the project. He said perhaps we could get the project price down to $45,000? Goodbye Rob. A lesson learned for me, even though it cost me $3750. Listen to your gut. Hard sales pitches, vague pricing, and unethical practices don't cover 25 year guarantees. read more

We hired System Pavers to put in a new front walkway and sidewalk, a new walkway w/steps from our side garage door to our workshop, a new retaining wall, and new landing areas at the bottom of our deck stairs. These guys did a fabulous job overall, they were very professional and polite, and some of the hardest workers we've ever seen! The finished product turned out just beautiful. I cannot tell you how many people walking by have stopped and complimented us on the new additions. The employee showed up 8 hours earlier than scheduled as i was leaving for the day so i had to wait until he was finished which caused me to be late for court as a juror!!! He also let himself into our backyard and proceeded to finish the job but my dog could have escaped because he left the gate open. He did ring the door bell but in not ensuring that someone was home he should have came back and or reported to the office that no one was home, that he'd have to return. The plugs were also not very deep as described. Almost as if he was rushed. I'm not happy and will take my business elsewhere. Quite disappointed!!! read more

Original review: I really wish I could make this 0 stars. We contracted with System Pavers to remove our koi pond and create a fire pit where it was located. They gave us an estimate of $20K to just remove the pond which included excavating large stones and some trees. Up to the day before we were supposed to start the project, the sales rep was telling us that they were not sure how they were going to accomplish the pond removal and we should really call an excavator. So we took his advice and found someone who quoted us $2K. At that point, we put a hold on our project because it made us question how much we were over paying for this job. Surprisingly, the paving materials were dropped off outside our house the next day without our consent. We immediately called our sales rep who seemed surprised that the pallets were delivered and contacted the project manager to have them returned. We told the sales rep that we wanted to cancel the project, but he said we should keep our deposit with them so that we could get the discount pricing that he had given us and apply it to a future project. We agreed because we were still considering how we could use the area where our pond was. After more than a year, we are still calling to get an update on why our deposit hasn't been returned. The Denver sales manager is giving us the run around saying that he doesn't know what's going on at the corporate office where the deposits are refunded. He said we may not get our deposit back because materials were delivered. According to our sales rep, our deposit was 100% refundable for any reason. Apparently, that is not true. Be very careful about reading your contract before you sign it and get all details about your project dates, including the process for delivering materials only with your consent. read more

We hired System Pavers in 2015 to put in a paver patio on our new construction home. We have a small yard with a significant slope, posing what we thought was a significant challenge, but they rose to the occasion and got us exactly what we were hoping for. Their level of communication and commitment to our vision was superb, and the workmanship exceeded our expectations at every turn. The patio was installed in three days - impressively efficient (and fun to watch!). We love entertaining and spending time in our yard, but recently decided we were ready for "phase two". Without hesitation, we contacted System Pavers again, and soon after met with Aaron to discuss our ideas for expanding. We had 3D images from him in no time to help us visualize the space, and soon met with Andrew, the PM, to understand the timing and logistics. Phase 2 for us included an extension of the patio itself, but also running a gas line from our basement in order to install a built in grill and firepit. Work started right away (in freezing temps, no less!), and within the week we were making s'mores with the kids over the fire pit. On a handful of occasions, we've noticed a loose paver (usually in high traffic areas), and each time they've sent someone out within 24 hours to repair it. The 25 year warranty has provided a peace of mind we could never have had with another company. System Pavers turned a small backyard into an expansion of our home that we truly enjoy spending time in. We did our homework and know we could have spent a little less, but we believe you get what you pay for. I unfortunately do not have a great review as most others seem to have. I went with paying 3x more than another estimate thinking I would be getting the perfect patio. I am extremely disappointed in the "quantity over quality" experience I received. A month later, and I am still waiting for corrections with a no-show this last week. A 3 inch slope in the wrong direction was corrected with globs of concrete slapped on, gutter was left unattached, even when they came back a second time to correct that. And 90% of the crevasse' lacked sand! A second work order was written up 30 days ago and I have yet to see a follow through. Very sorry to say I can/will not be recommending this company to any friends or family therefore not collecting any $500 referral money. read more
