    Celery 3/4 of the dish

Ordered their version of Kung Pao Chicken. The dish was 3/4 celery. The picture I am including shows the amount of celery remaining after I ate the chicken and the few peanuts.

A little update!! New paint, new decor, totally fresh. Looks great! Like the colors. Had a terrific lunch. Great, personal service, friendly and efficient. Love the new look and totally enjoyed lunch today!! Highlights: fresh, crispy crab Rangoon, delicious chicken with garlic and finger sauce and super tender, but crispy almond chicken!! Lovely little place with big flavors!! Great local establishment!

    The box look.

Dine-in experience was sub average. Maybe carry out provides a better experience. Waitresses were nice, but clad in street t-shirts and jeans. Mexican music from the kitchen and non-Chinese decor with American tasting dishes just didn't cut it. East to step it up, but didn't.

This place is pretty decent American Chinese Food. It's one of the only ones in the area so the location is kind of a go to for anybody that lives in a 5 mile radius. The prices are a bit high for some of the items but give them the location. I'm sure rent isn't cheap. So my go to here are usually the shrimp fried rice or the chicken fried rice. The baby shrimp fried rice, and particular is well-made, and I usually get a quart, which is about 16 bucks, which is a lot for rice, and a few shrimp when you think about it, but when you had a long day at work, and you don't feel like cooking, well, it fills you up and does so in a tasty fashion. The chicken fried rice is good but you don't really get as much balance of flavor as you do with the shrimp making a significant impact in contrast to the rice where as we are now chicken takes on the flavor of whatever it's cooked in the other item on the menu that I would recommend is the sweet and sour chicken. The sizes are pretty good it's deep fried and with a pint of white rice. The one item I will not recommend is the orange chicken because it is literally all bread and the chicken is so chewy that it's barely edible. I ordered it once and since that experience would not ordered again. This place is good for to go and usually has your order ready within 20 minutes or so which is always a bonus with to go. The inside of the restaurant has painted a nice blue collar. It's got modern touches to it including modern hanging glass. Lights and booths are pretty roomy. I'm personally never eaten inside, but I have sat on a chair, waiting for my order to come through and thought the setting was pleasant and didn't suffer from that situation that can occur at a lot of restaurants where you're like this place doesn't look great. Should I really be eating the food here? So all in all I think this place is worth a try depending on what you get. I've had their lo mein noodles as well. They're pretty good not exactly the texture that I personally like when it comes to lo mein but the flavor of the noodles is pretty good.

Dine in or take-out, this place has quality food and service dialed in. Fresh hot tea brewed to order to complement the wide variety of entrees and sides. Stop in and give these guys your support, you won't regret it.

big chunks of mostly underdone celery + shredded carrots. Then done MILD when a) dish is spicy period b) requested spicy

Everything exceeded expectations. I had the Mongolian beef and chicken fried rice. Highly recommend both of those.

Always a good meal. The cold noddle appetizer is amazing. Just make sure you get extra chili oil to make it extra special.

We ordered some appetizers and an entree with drinks. I had a basil Paloma I did not like and I love Paloma's but this one had some kind of funky taste to it. It was not the basil. Idk. The sugar cookie martini was good but very sweet. The Marguerite flatbread was ok the topping were good but the bread was very doughy like it didn't finish cooking. The truffle fries were amazing. They were crispy and flavorful. The shrimp and risotto were very good. The risotto was gooey, cooked just right and had a lot of flavor. I do recommend the shrimp and risotto. And the truffle fries.

The building itself is very quaint and the decor beautiful, but the food....NO WAY! I didn't think it would be so challenging to get cocktails and pasta right. To start, we waited forever for our drinks. My pomegranate martini tasted like kombucha, and my fiancé's old fashioned had fashionless...no bitters , no flavor. Let's just say...it was a rough start. We started with the calamari, which tasted like it had freezer burn. I ordered a chicken dish with prosciutto and pasta. The entire entrée was just odd. It was severed cold and the chicken was tough. My fiancé had the linguine with seafood and the entire dish was floating in an unidentifiable liquid .....it was so runny! Needless to say, we didn't want to take our left overs home! This was a very disappointing experience. One and done for us!

I opted for the garlic fries upcharge, bringing my total to $19.00. Somehow I justified it because I like these toppings and these toppings weirdly weren't available on a pizza. Or at least I didn't see it via the phone based ordering system. Yes, that's right, this is all of the future check with wrist bands and pour your own beer situation. Don't look for a paper menu, they ain't here. My sandwich wasn't a grilled cheese. It was basically pesto toast with large sun-dried tomatoes and scraps of mozzarella. Baby spinach was just missing. I did inquire to the host (perchance the only actual employee?) and he did talk to the kitchen and I guess they were out. With that information I turned to my friend Robert and said, "You know why we have servers? So they can let you know they're 86 spinach." I suppose I would have adjusted my order had I known this too. What's nuts is, they have ingredients to make a better grilled cheese. I mean, step one: add cheese. Why not mix the ricotta and pesto together and then add like havarti or something that may actually melt and have flavor. The sun-dried tomatoes should be sliced smaller. The garlic fries were fine, but also could have had more flavor. Robert's and neighboring table's pizza looked fine. Is it better than any other place offering Detroit style pizza? Hard to say. I guess I'm not in a hurry to go back. The kind host did make an adjustment to my bill for lack of spinach--but having a server would have prevented that being necessary.
