Dropping my review to 2 starts because I reached out to the company in attempt to get some information and they never got back. I know they reached read my message because Instagram tells me. Cookies were beautiful and tasted good but I'm a little disappointed... only the cashier was wearing a mask. All of the staff was unmasked which makes me nervous since they are working with the food. We had driven 45 minutes to get the cookies so I was upset that it wasn't up to par with the state mandate and cdc cleanliness. Overall I will be back after the pandemic is over to get cookies because there were so good, but I'll probably wait until things have cleared up or they have their staff wearing masks regularly. read more

Unfortunately, that package was shipped right after ordering which normally would be ideal, but the person the gift was for was still three weeks out. I called the shipping department and they were quick to acknowledge the mistake and make it right by sending another box at no additional cost closer to Christmas. Needless to say, the first package was gobbled up quickly by other relatives. My husband LOVES Süss Cookies (even better than Crumbl!). We stopped in driving through Midway from Heber City back to Park City. Super cute little town! The building is easy to miss, so be sure to watch the map and keep your eyes peeled. We actually had to turn around in a neighborhood just past the shop. Not an awful thing because we got a few for the area. There were many choices, including macaroons! Four stars instead of five because the rest of us enjoyed Süss Coolies but preferred others. Awesome cookies. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is probably just personal taste...and they messed up our order. Oh well. I also couldn't differentiate between a couple of cookies; I wish they were individually labeled. However, if I could give 4.5 stars I would. The coconut joy cookie was my absolute favorite. Didn't care for the salted caramel. But all others were awesome. Received them in the mail and they were thick, dense soft and delicious; just like a cookie should be. We got the coconut joy, sour cream lemon, salted Carmel, chocolate chip and snickerdoodle. Can't wait to try more because I'll for sure be ordering again. read more

This place has the most creative, amazing cookies. We are from Atlanta but come to Park City 5-6 times per year. Do yourself a favor and take a beautiful 15 minute drive to Midway to visit this adorable place. The folks there are so friendly and they give samples of all of their wonderful flavors. We have wanted to try this place for a long time. We live in Salt Lake and decided we'd make the trip this fall so we could enjoy the leaves, stop for some cookies, and head back. When we arrived there was a sign on the door that said they were closed for the day due to staffing shortages. Like many other recent reviewers, a friend shipped my girlfriend and I a box during quarantine. We'd never heard of the company before, but a quick Google search turned up their excellent reviews and we were very excited to enjoy them. The only problem? The cookies come in individual air-sealed packages and after our first bite it was incredibly obvious that they were intended to be heated up before eating (they weren't rock hard, but close to it). The box didn't come with any sort of instructions, so my girlfriend hopped online and spent two hours searching for reheating instructions (on their website, their Facebook page, their instagram page, their Yelp, and TripAdvisor, and Facebook reviews, random articles and blogposts written about their company) but came up empty handed. We finally tried microwaving them and did not have good results. They went from being hard to warm-but-still-pretty -hard to burned without ever hitting the "warm and gooey" stage that's the natural state of homemade cookies fresh out of the oven (and undoubtedly the natural state of these cookies were you to buy them on-site at the store). We then tried microwaving another cookie at a lower heat setting, but had similar results. The next day I sepnt another hour trying to find reheating instructions online, but also came up empty-handed. We finally tried warming them up in the oven and had better results, but they still weren't great. Again, they never came close to achieving the "fresh cookies straight out of the oven" feeling." My friend who ordered the cookies for us said that she thought that they were supposed to come with reheating instructions. Maybe they were supposed to be ours didn't, and at any rate why the hell a company whose entire business revolves around shipping cookies to customers that are specifically intended to be reheated wouldn't have these instructions readily available on their website is truly beyond me. I guess anyone whose order doesn't come with the instructions or anyone who loses them (something I imagine is probably not entirely unheard of) is just plain out of luck. Maybe there really is a very specific way of reheating them that simply eluded us, that when done correctly makes them turn out *just right* but I think there's also a real possibility that this is just another one of those local dessert companies whose cult-following owes more to media hype and a desire to support local businesses than actually being that great (*cough* *cough* Voodoo Doughnuts). read more
