First of all, I didnt think I would find a Meineke so close to where I live. It is literally within walking distance from my home, which made things much easier than I presumed. Its location is in Charlotte's "Plaza Midwood" area, just five minutes from uptown. Now, to paint a description of my car's condition before bringing it in would be a challenge, but lets just say it needed some serious maintenance. Lucky for me, they were running a "rainy day special"..and boy was it raining out that day! As I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly man behind the desk. He walked me through the special, which included an oil change, wind shield wipers, tire rotation, air, and fluids topped off all for 59.00! In my mind, this could not be true because Toyota was charging me the same price for just an oil change. Sure enough I learned that I was getting ripped off at Toyota! The man told me it would take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to finish my car, which was great because I didn't even make an appointment. I ended up spending that time at my friends house that was on the same street. After an hour, I received a phone call letting me know that my car was complete. I am not lying when I tell you that my car drove like it was brand new again. After my wonderful experience, I no longer need to go years without maintenance, and found that they can provide a pleasant experience to the auto care world! I will be back to this location in the future and recommend them to anyone in need of service.

The VW is now at 135,000 miles, King Auto has provided service over 92,000 of those miles. The owner has always been gracious and helpful. He's always advised things to watch out and plan for. Typically can see me same day, if the bays are occupied, I'll return as he's available. Only a few times, I'd leave the auto and return upon completion. I refer friends and clients. That's how much I trust their ability.

My Turbo was falling apart. Had that replaced , gaskets, rings, Cat. Converter, and pipe assembly.. I had went out of town left the car with them.. They worked on it 3 business days. I left it on a Friday, got it back on Wednesday.. It runs like a brand new car. Never knew it could ride so smooth and have such power to it.. I've had my car 8 years and this was the only major money I've put in it.. A lot of other repair shops were racking me over the coals by just guessing why my engine light keeps coming on and wanted to keep my car 2 to 3 days to guess what it was.
