After good experiences at T&J's were followed by some bad ones, I stopped going there in May 2023. I thought I'd give them a second chance by buying a couple of pizzas. I tend to overtip, and both times tipped the sullen cashier $6 for a $22 pizza - up front before the service one tips for had occurred. Both times, they scrimped on the toppings. Their meat lovers pizza is more of a meat starver's pizza. The sausage I paid for was more of a rumor than a reality and the same with the meatballs. On the last pizza I ordered, one slice had a single paper-thin slice of pepperoni, and three slices had 2. The minimal amount of toppings that were on the two pizzas I purchased came no closer than about 3-1/2 inches from the outside edge. Maybe T&J's saved a dollar or two by shortchanging me on the toppings, but they lost a lot more because I do not intend to return. It's just not a well-run business. I try to support local business, enjoy giving positive reviews, and will continue doing so for better-run businesses in the area, such as Newsome's, right down the road from T&J's. read more

Went to lunch there Saturday with a friend out of town! I was bragging about the food there, but boy was I embarrassed! We both had a burger , fries and onion rings and a drink. There were several things wrong with the meal! 1.. we wanted our toppings on the, but of course that didn't happen.2... buns were Burnt and hard as a rock I tried eating mine I took two bites and I just couldn't do no more. My girlfriend was the way, an employee did bring her another bun! I used to love coming there but after today it will be a long time before I return. I'm pretty sure of the problem, there are too many young people working there.Adult supervision is needed. I was so embarrassed because I brought my friend there and we had these problems. Burgers here are excellent. I'm following a keto diet (basically no carbs, so no bread, nothing fried, no potatoes, no pasta), but they have been great whenever I've made those "weird" orders like "Reuben with extra kraut and no bread" or "BBQ with no bun and extra slaw". T & J's Dairy Barn is one of those places you drive by a hundred times and think to yourself "I've gotta stop and try that place some day." Well - that day finally arrived. A surprisingly diverse menu for such an unassuming building. Rockfish or flounder sandwiches, shrimp, ribs, hush puppies, seafood bisque, she crab soup, paninis, pizza, corn dogs, hamburgers, hot dogs, salads - and of course ICE CREAM! Decisions, decisions. Settled on a Chili Cheese Dog and a Chicago Dog -expecting a couple of mediocre, standard fare dogs - but to my surprise what should appear - but two footlong delicious dogs donned with mass quantities of happiness. Too much food! And too good not to finish. Girlfriend tried the cheesesteak and seasoned fries. Both awesome- though seemed the fries should have been cooked a little longer (a little mushy in the middle). Topped it off with a scoop of salted caramel ice cream - and the girlfriend went for pineapple coconut. So good it made our eyes roll to the back of our heads. Can't pass up the opportunity to take a selfie on the Cowch (a couch / bench shaped like a cow). Hard to beat the bargain of the Dairy Barn. And the friendly staff. We'll be back. Often. read more

Yeah I'm done with this place it had a lot of potential but it has gone downhill fast the last few years. 53.00 for three subs and two fries and only thing they got right were the fries. We've had a home in Reedville for 4 years now. I was always disappointed that there was nowhere to get pizza, I didn't even care if it was great, just gimme some pizza. Hi. My husband and I stopped by the other day for a quick ice cream cup. I have to say it was the worst ice cream I have ever had. Zero flavor! in fact I did something that I have never done with ice cream- I gave it back after 3 spoonfuls!! It wasn't worth eating it and wasting the calories on something that was soooo bad! Last summer while visiting the area, we decided we wanted ice cream for desert. We walked up just as they were closing, the owner took one look at my son and said she couldn't let a child leave with a disappointed face. She let us in and I was pleasantly surprised to see the wide selection of flavors they offer, I chose peppermint patty,it was fresh and tasted like real homemade ice cream! We kelp coming back! We visit the area every summer and made it a point to come back multiple times this year. This has made it to our traditional summer night vacation ice cream spot that we will be coming to year after year. read more

Wow. What a find. In addition to a HUGE variety of ice cream with all the toppings, T&J's offers some very tasty grilled food. We stopped for lunch with the kids and had the rockfish sandwich special -- awesome. The flounder sandwich looked great as well. Next time for me will be either the crabcake sandwich or the chicken parm sandwich. The kids really enjoyed the pizza. Food was hot and fresh; the servers were polite and pleasant. Yummy and diverse flavors here for sure! Birthday cake flavor and Oreo I think are two of the best ones. The peanut butter Oreo has globs of peanut butter and it's not as tasty as I thought, it's really too much. The cookie dough flavor is also a little odd.
