I am so happy with the work that Perfect Image did on sanding and refinishing our hardwood flooring. We had originally been working with a bigger company because we were on a time crunch and they assured us that they would get the work done on our floors before we moved into our home- but just two weeks before the move they changed their story and said it wouldn't be done in time. Jose was very helpfully and provided us with various options. He explained the process and what worked best for our situation. I can't say enough good things about Perfect Image Floors. Jose came on Sunday to give us an estimate and was able to schedule the job for the next day. Fortunately for us, he had a cancellation. This is a job I started myself, pulling up carpet, tack strips, and surface nails someone else had put in the hardwood. I even started sanding the floors myself and quickly realized I was in over my head. Not once did Jose make me feel like I did anything wrong, but with his experience and skill, sanded and finished the floor to look beautiful, even patching hardwood into a hole left behind by an old floor receptacle. He arrived both days wearing a mask, treating me and my home with respect. He was friendly, courteous, prompt, professional, and quick. Obviously experienced. I just had my floors done by perfect image. after having seen them around the neighborhood a lot, i asked some locals on a blog i belong to for some unbiased comments. nothing but good words. well, i would rate them as a 5 out of 10. we had just two rooms to do on the first floor, the family room and the living room and the stairs leading upstairs and the 2nd floor hallway. where do i start? how about the fact that all tolled, it was one month before our floors were finally done. let's start with the first issue, all the carpets were ripped up in all the rooms including the second floor except the stairs. when i asked jim about it, he pulled the estimate out and said, we don't have the stairs on the estimate. i had to remind him that we also didn't have the second floor hallway when he did the initial estimate, and i had to ask him to put it on after the fact eventhough he had measured both stairs and hallway. and why would i do the hallway but not the stairs leading up to the wood hallway from the wood foyer? so, he gave me a deal on the stairs. then, the finish they put on the floors was much duller than the finish on the rest of our floors. i know the color cannot match, but the finish should. but because they had spilled some finish on our older floors, they had to redo all the first floor because they could not just buff out the bumpiness. so, in the end, they ended up doing our entire first floor at just the rate of the two rooms, hallway and stairs. i can't complain about that. except that it took a whole month to do, rather than the one week we were expecting. and then we got nickel and dimed for the wood registers (not on the estimate), but don't you think that that should have been on there? it's not the first time you're doing floors, you know i'm going to need wood registers. anyways, not the stellar job i was expecting. jim is a nice guy though and easy to work with. the workers that came were funny. so overall, mediocre experience. read more

Noe and his team were awesome. We pulled up carpet to find a previous owner drilled into the joists of the original hardwood floors to stop the creaking. Noe gave us a very competitive quote and came with great recommendations. The work was a little delayed with COVID, but well worth the wait. We had the old floors in the hallway ripped up and the bedrooms refinished. The job took 3 1/2 days. Luckily the warm weather helped the process. I would highly recommend Perfect Image Floors.
