My review is going to mirror all the other 4 but I am compelled to use this forum to lower my blood pressure and exorcise my pent up rage Here I go..... 2/08/13 - Call American Home Shield to schedule a repair request. The coils on my Jenn Air range top have stopped heating. I was told I would receive a call within 48 business hours from T & T to set up an appointment. 02/09/13 - Received a call from T & T and appointment set for 02/12 between 1300 and 1600. 02/12/13 - Tech calls @ 1615 to say he is on the way. Sorry big guy, but I have to leave @ 1700. Appt rescheduled for 02/13/13 between 0900 and 1300. 02/13/13 - Mikae calls @ 1015 and is on the way. He arrives around 1030 and quickly diagnoses the problem as well as discovering that my downdraft fan is also not working. He will order the parts and I'll be contacted for an install. 02/18/13 - I contact T & T for a status update, and am advised that the parts will be in on 02/21. I request that Mikae be the tech to come out and am assured that he will. Appt scheduled for 02/27 between 0900 and 1300. 02/27/13 - Tech arrives early in time frame, but it's not Mikae. DJ was very professional, diligently attempting to finish the repair, but, long story short, either the wrong parts were ordered or wrong parts were sent.. Arghhhhhhh. 03/05/13 - I call T & T and am told that the new parts have been received and appt scheduled for 03/07. NOTE - I had to make the phone call to get the status update. 03/07/13 - Mikae was the returning tech on this visit and again was early in the time window promised. He installs the parts, coils are heating, BUT, the downdraft fan will not turn off. It just runs, runs, and runs. Mikae determines another problem; the relay switch is bad. Even though the coils are heating, the power to my range still had to be shut off because of the bad relay switch which could short out. Another Arghhhhhh. Off to the order department AGAIN. 03/15/13 - I receive an email from AHS that T & T requested that AHS turn this repair over to another vendor more experienced with Jenn Air. Within minutes of that conversation, I receive a phone call from A1 Appliance to schedule an appointment. Not only did they have incorrect information as to the repair issues, when I advised what the problem was, they stated "oh, we don't work on those kinds of repairs, sorry will turn this back to AHS". That same afternoon, I receive a call from another contractor, American Home Services, to schedule an appointment, which is set for today 03 18 13. (Still waiting for them to show up !) If one reads the other reviews on T & T, it is obvious that this is an unreliable contractor and I have contacted AHS to suggest that they remove this company from their vendor list. Over a month now without a working range top. I haven't figured out how to prepare several foods in the microwave yet. So hungry for some french toast :) UPDATE - 03 18 13, American Home Services tech out today. Discovered that T & T had wired the new parts wrong. 45 minutes later I have a working range top. Just as others stated....This place is horrible. My worthless home warranty company American Home Shield uses them. We had a guy come out to fix our microwave which was shorting out sporadically. A unprofessional looking heavy set guy comes in and looks like he has no clue as to what the problem is. I tell him that I had researched it online and thought I knew what the issue was. Rather than listen, he says he wants to replace the two main components (keypad and board). He has to order them which takes 5-7 days. After 10 days I call T&T to see if my part came in. Sure enough it did and no one called to tell us. I schedule something for that week (another day off work). Same screwball guy comes back out, calling me Dirk (I am tall and white-only resemblance, not like I called him Fat Albert), and his board and keypad did not fix it. I told him again what I thought the issue was. He tells me no, and after 5 phone calls to his boss, he says he has to send a senior master tech out. Oh yeah.....this guy asks me if I had any food he could have and ate brownies my wife had made. I only gave them to him because they were stale as hell. Master tech comes out, says he found the problem (third day off work and he shows up a 6:30pm,....three hours late). Master tech, being the genius that he is says the issue is a door latch. It takes 7 more days for the door latch to come in. I asked if he would be the one to install it......he says he will be, he was not. So 10 days go by.....I call T&T appliance Service. I ask if my part is in, they say yes, then flip the script on me and say "we were wanting to see if we can schedule something for this week". They actually acted like it was them calling me. I say sure I would take a fourth day off work. So sure enough, the Master tech who said he would come out to install the part he was so sure would fix the microwave doesn't come and instead sends a new rookie. Well it looks like the master tech was as big of a joke. The part he said was faulty did not fix the issue. Eventually after two months they give up and tell the home warranty company to send me a new microwave, that it cant be fixed. I get a new microwave, fix the old one myself with a seven dollar part ( the part I researched online and told them about all along). WORTHLESS COMPANY, not sure how they are in business. Horrible, Horrible Unprofessional Company. Please do not utilize the services of T&T Appliance Repair. This company wasted my whole entire day! No one never showed up to my house to fix my repair. My appointment was from 11am-2pm.. All day until 9pm all this company did was lie and say someone was coming to fix my washer and no one ever came. The guy i spoke with even promised that someone would be at my house and no one ever came. The whole day all the technician did was tell me lies on when someone would come to repair my washer. I stayed at home all day, so that I would not miss my appointment. And Nothing. This company doesn't even answer their phone and will only respond to you through text message. Also while responding to me through text message the guy didn't even know who I was or my address, and kept asking me repeatedly for my name and address, when he already had all of that information from Home insurance warranty. This is the worse company that I have ever tried to do business with! PLEASE STAY AWAY!! This review deserves -0 Stars! read more

I haven't even given this company the opportunity to come to my house, if I can't trust you to show up on time, I can definitely not trust you to repair an appliance correctly (especially after reading these reviews). They called yesterday and were scheduled to come out today, between 1-5 (1/2 day missed from work) at 4:15 hadn't heard anything so I wanted to make sure someone was coming. The gentleman that answered the phone said the tech was still in the field and he would check to see where he was on his calls and call me back. Around 5:15 I hadn't heard from him so I called him back, office was closed. Then the home warranty company tried to tell me I needed to give them a chance, guess what - they just had it! I told them I would advise them to contact T&T and tell them to not show up at my door, for any reason. I am paying for a service that the home warranty company is not providing, I refuse to take another minute off work and if they can't find someone that can come after 4PM I will find a home warranty service that can. My service was with AHS and because their providers were so bad we switched to First American, we have no problem switching again. From the dates of the reviews, these yahoos were with AHS and probably got kicked to the curb and now their going around the Metro-plex "spreading the love". After reading these reviews (which I kindly shared with the home warranty rep and the supv that I spoke to) these home warranty companies should be ashamed to associate with this trash. You have the nerve to say on your recording what an extensive background check you do on your potential service providers. All I did was google their name and look what I found out, hopefully they didn't spend any money checking these fools out because I did my research for free and by happenstance. They're located at Jim Miller and Military Pkwy, the address speaks for itself! And yes, you can take the "hood" out of the girl. I used T & T for a dishwasher that was not cleaning. The first diagnose was a new motor, the 2nd was that the water line had been crushed by the first repairman, the 3rd was that there was too much soap. They have been out 4 times and for a 1-5 appointment we were not called before 6pm and they showed up between 7-8pm every time. The dishwasher is still not cleaning but since this was covered under a home warranty I am stuck because T & T is telling them there is nothing wrong with my dishwasher. This company is also not a member of the BBB so forget filing any complaint with someone to arbitrate any disagreements. STAY AWAY from this company! read more

More of the same for the other reviews. This place is aweful. I put in a service request through American Home Shield and it went to T&T Appliance. They had to go out two times for a service request on an oven not heating up and generally did not know what they were doing. I had to put in a 3rd service request and now waiting for that debacle. When I talked to them directly, I could tell they were clueless. When I asked who ran the place, she told me "the receptionist runs the place"....Really? I had to ask again, she said the same. American Home Shield is still dispatching this company, T&T Appliance services is completely incompetent. The guy came, didn't call in route as promised, looked at my appliance, said he'd call AHS when he returned to the office, which is where he stated he was going next. He Didn't call AHS until the next morning, called in an invalid part number. 48 hours later I discovered he had written down the incorrect model number, I emailed them informing them of his mistake. He's still not in the office to look up the part to order. If you get assigned this company, cancel your service request and re-request. This company is awful. read more

AHS offered this contractor to me to repair my oven door. They were supposed to come out on Friday, 12/20, between 1-5 p.m. I called them at 2:30, and the service tech had two calls before me, so I was figuring on near 5:00. At 7:30 p.m., no one had shown up or called. The company has not returned my calls either. I have contacted AHS to let them know about his vendor. Do not use and refuse their service. I just called the office and it's not the job of the office staff to call the customer and let them know when the tech will arrive. read more

This company is a flat-out joke. They are NEVER on time. I just tried to call their office to find out what order I'm in & the phone # is no longer a working #?! The techs think they are the best of the best when in fact they actually BROKE my expensive stainless steel super quiet dishwasher. Ended up having to call out GE repairman. They just couldn't figure it out?! Now the motor leaked & am waiting for parts. They were 1 hour late for the appointment. Sometime between 11:00 & 4:00. The guy showed up 5:00!!! Really? He thought he was just a regular funny guy & kept cracking jokes. Could have been in & out in 15 minutes. Was finally gone 45 minutes later. Shut up & do your job!! I really like our home warranty company but MUST they continue to send out this same crummy company? Avoid them at ALL COSTS!!! the worst ,least reliable ,worst attitude, and refuses to return calls ,calls at 4:56 (close at 5:00) to set a repair time called back at 5:04 no answer. called next morning until 10:30 before i got and answer at that point i was told it would be almost 4 days before they would be out to install a 15 minute part replacement. it is only the timer ,the switch behind the big knob, not brain surgery and with a family of 4 three females and no washer for a month and an office manager with an attitude. i still don't have a washer i hope it happens on monday as promised. ha,ha,ha read more

I just had my oven repaired by T&T and I was very happy with the service that I received. Their receptionist are very kind, and the technician that came to my house was very knowledgeable on what was going on with my unit. He order a control board for it, and got it fixed in less than a week! I recommend this company to anybody! read more

I am in love with T&T Appliance Services. I don't know what happened at the rest of the homes, but I was pleased. I have had them repair my dryer, dishwasher, and my oven. The service Techs were very professional and courteous. I was actually the one that was late for my appointment time, and they waited on me. Overall, I am completely satisfied with T&T. I even recommend them to my friends and family members. read more

The service I received from T & T Appliance confirms every review is right. The technicians don't know what they are doing. This people have come to my home 5 times to repair my appliance and they have not yet fixed anything. every time it takes them a week to schedule and every time they show up after the scheduled time. Their customer service people are very rude, The lady i spoke to today thought I hung up the phone but it was still on because i had not taken off my headphone, she thought she hung up her phone but she must not have. She was talking to her coworker and telling me that I am Asshole, not only she told me that but she was cursing at everyone that she got call so far today. The reason why she was cursing is because I expressed concerned that the tech doesn't show on schedule, if she can asked them to come on time. She was telling her coworker that "I hope the asshole's schedule is delayed again". When i called back and asked to speak to manager and owner, i was told that no one is there and they are all at the field. The person note down my number but I don't believe they will be calling me back just like last time. If there was lesser rating then 1 start. I would have given that to this people. Used T & T for oven repair - the temp was heating properly. Technician arrived wearing a 24 hour fitness t-shirt and sweat pants and headphones around his head - extremely unprofessional dressed to represent an appliance repair company. He didn't do anything other than turn the oven on and off and stated he will order a part and will call when the part is in. Needless to say, I had to call to find out if the part arrived. The next service man came out wearing a uniformed t-shirt (hence my complaint was listened to). he installed the part, did not test it to see if it works and didn't reinstall the oven properly and left me with the display panel gapping an inch from the wall space. he said it was the original installation that was at fault, even though it was installed properly when he arrived to tear the oven apart. Poor service, poor service vendor. Extremely unprofessional. Reported him to American Home Shield as a DO NOT USE vendor. read more
