I came here December 20 and got a full set for $50 which was completely reasonable considering they took their time to make sure my nails were perfect and that I liked what I had. The first set took them an hour and a half. I received compliments up until the last day! Even with my natural nail being exposed. They lasted me almost an entire month without lifting. I waited this long to write my review so I can really see if they're worth it and they are. The red nails are what I got today. This fill cost $25 and they spent an hour on them. I've switched from my old nail salon to this one, and I love it and do not regret anything. The girl at the front desk is super nice, friendly, and always has dope nails! I love the service here as well as the nail technicians. They understand what I want when it comes to shaping and length and they are super patient. I was sooo surprised in my first visit because their prices are really low. Although, that is a bonus, their prices do not compare to the work, time, and effort they put into nails. I hate driving farther than 10 mins. I was pretty sad when I found out Don moved to long Beach, which is about 35-45 mins away. I tried to find a replacement but had no luck. I dragged myself and my daughter out to his new store and I'm glad I did. I was greeted by a very friendly girl, Julie,and she just made me and my little one very welcomed. A lady at another store did gel nails for my daughter once and it lasted two days. I've been coming here for pedicures for over 3 years and have never had a problem. However, today I came in for a pedicure but my usual lady was not there. I decided to give another woman a try and was completely disappointed. First of all, she cut down my nails without asking, I found it odd but did not say anything as I was going to ask her to cut anyways. She asked me what color I wanted and I said French tip. She said "oh honey" and lifts my toe up for me to see she had completely rounded my nails when she cut them. They usually cut my nails in a squared way so I was confused. I told her it's okay and to add acrylic to my big toes only to give it a squared shape. As she is finishing applying acrylic to my big toes she asks for me to see if the shape was ok I noticed the acrylic was extremely long and told her the nail shape is great but the length is way to long it would hurt to wear shoes! She laughed and said she will file down.... She files for a bit and moves on to apply acrylic to the rest of my toes. I told her oh no just the big toe please and she goes "no it's ok only a lil bit" I was confused as last time I recall I was the one paying for the service and did not want to pay for acrylic on all toes. I paused and told her no thank you just the big toes. She wipes it off and continues filing my big toes. For 5 min straight we are going back and forth, her asking me if the length is ok and me telling her to go shorter. I started getting tired of going back and forth so I told her it's okay just take everything off I will still pay but just take everything off. She says ok and continues working on my nails. I told her once more oh no I don't want pedicure anymore it's okay just take it off. She says okay but I can tell she does not understand. At this point everyone is the salon is looking at me, but nobody offers to translate what I am asking for to her in their language. I ask her one more time to take it off and she continues to work on them. Finally after the 5th time I tell her someone jumps in and translates she speaks to them in their language and looks and me and at my toes and smacks her lips. I did not say anything as I just wanted to get out of there. she finally proceeds to remove the acrylic and burns my toe nails. I let her know it's burning and she just apologizes and continues. I could see her struggling as she applied so much acrylic. I couldn't stand the burning sensation so after 5 min I told her to just leave it. She says okay and stops but continues to grab nail polish and paper to wrap around my toes. I told her it's okay I do not want a pedicure anymore I just want the acrylic off. She says okay thank you and proceeds to wrap the paper on my toes. I told her no I do not want paint and grabbed my purse and started putting my sandals on. She finally understands and says thank you and let's me go. They charged me $29 for burning toes that I'm sure will bruises and the receptionist goes "I'm so sorry for the problem next time you come let me know I'll help you"......I told her thank you I appreciate it and left. I understand many nail salons want to hire family members to work with them in their business, but it is good to have someone who understands English and what a client is asking for. read more

I never get acrylics but decided to get some for my graduation and I loved how they did them. The place is super clean and the people who work there are really nice! I had a picture of what I wanted and they came out even better! People who complain about the prices don't understand all the work that's put into it. This review is solely for the older fellow with the calm disposition who provides the best pedicures with callus removal I've found in LA! I've gone to many places, high end like laque and ghetto dirt cheap places like this salon: at $11 for a reg pedi, it can't be beat! The place is fitting in its neighborhood, and the two Vietnamese women that work here can be very rude. If you can look past that for the end result, and bypass dealing with them, a pedicure with the older Vietnamese gentleman is worth the experience! I bring my own tools and he provides the cleanest callus removal around! He knows how to use metal shaving tools (not sure what they're called) without cutting too much or too fast. He is patient, calm, and speaks little English. This places reeks of fumes, yet it is always bustling with customers. Children can be seen running about, wetting themselves, having their nails painted, or waiting calmly did their parents. It's an interesting experience, and definitely a humbling one. At the end of my service, I get to leave this terribly low socially economic area to my calm home in the armpit of LA, the good ol' SFV. I wanted to get something unique done so I decided to come here. They have so many nice and unique designs shown here as well as Instagram. Walking in I was greeted by Julie who was super friendly and was seated almost instantly. I told them I wanted to make my nails a bit longer and they introduced me to gel extender/builder. Not many shops actually offer this rare form. It is much healthier and lighter (almost natural) feel versus the acrylic. It was done beautifully and I can't ask for a better design. Having an ingrown toe nails is a pain in the butt once when it's a few weeks after a nice pedi. They were able to swiftly yet properly solve the issue for me.
