This is my impression of Tbow. This moving company is next to useless. I contracted with them through Nathan Tooke, employed by Tbow, who assured me several times that within a week after Tbow packed my possessions that there would be a driver available to drive my stuff across country. He assured me the drive would take no more than a week. This would have put my possessions in N Carolina by June 3. I have a witness to several of these conversations. I asked to speak with Tooke's manager. Maria at Tbow said his name was 'Art.' I called for a week and left messages daily. Art never called me. So Tbow presents bad information, demonstrates no initiative to live up to its commitments, and the owner Art is totally unresponsive. I told Tooke that I would retain an attorney, and Tooke said he felt threatened because I indicated one of my legal recourse. Amazingly, when my attorney sent Tbow a letter, Tbow failed to respond -- totally unprofessional. Neither Tbow nor its partner, North American Van Lines, found a driver until long after the promised date of June 3. I wouldn't use Tbow for anything, and recommend that you avoid them as well as National American Van Lines. My furniture was finally delivered July 9 -- almost five weeks late. They offered me a discount for the late delivery, but I would have much preferred the timely delivery of my possessions. read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU USE THIS COMPANY FOR A MOVE. I will say I gave the owner ample time to try and make things right, and take accountability, but he did absolutely NOTHING, so I will share my full experience. This company was used for a move we needed to do for the military. The military reached out to us prior to the move to see if we wanted another company. I wish we would have done more research, and requested to go with someone else. Not only were many items broken/damaged, missing AND stolen, but the owner did not do anything about it. I called to discuss my first issue with someone in charge on a Thursday. I spoke with Marie. She told me that the owner Art was out, and he would give me a call back the next day (Friday). She got some information as to what was going on. She lacked any type of empathy or at least customer service skills for speaking with a customer with concerns of a move that they had done. Close to the end of their business day on Friday, I called back since no one had called me. I spoke with Marie again. She told me she had left him a message and he was busy on a job. She assured me he would call me back on Monday. The same thing happened on Monday, so I called again. Once again I spoke with Marie. She said she had given him the message, and he said he would call me tomorrow (Tuesday). She told me she did all she can do, and she gave him the message. On Tuesday Art did call. He asked me what had happened, and got the details. I explained to him that my controlled prescription medication was empty, and the bottle was placed in a box from another room. Basically they took the bottle of medication from our kitchen, emptied it, and wrapped the bottle in their wrap, and put in a box of lightbulbs from our daughter's vanity. Art said he wanted to speak with his son- his son was one of the packers on the job at our house. He would get back to me after speaking with him. Art called me the next day and explains that his son and him spoke with their associate who packed up our bathroom. He claims that the associate denied taking anything from our bathroom. I asked him about his questioning as to who was in our bathroom. NO ONE was allowed in the bathroom during the move. The room was closed off. He then backtracked and said that his son probably misunderstood. At that moment, I felt as if he was just telling me something to make me think he did something. He told me this associate was now basically 'let go'. I explained to him that at this point that really meant nothing to me. I do not think people who steal things should be packing up homes, but it also does not replace my missing items. I had now also found that a whole bottle of my dog's prescription pain medication was also missing. Since we just have moved out of state, I will have to visit another vet to get more medication. That's an office visit and medication cost. He then said he would call his vet to get the medication filled for me. NO reputable vet would do that. Art went off on a tangent on how no one is punished as children, so this is why they grow up to behave this way. He stated that he does background checks, and there is 'ONLY SO MUCH HE CAN DO'. He then said that he tells his guys 'these things aren't yours. You can't take things that don't belong to you'. SO he is telling me he knows that they steal. He never once apologized and took responsibility. He made it seem like it was my fault for leaving something like that out. (For the record, they were told not to go into that specific cabinet). Art said he would speak with his vet and give me a call back. Art put his office manager Julie on the phone to get more information on the medication stolen. She seemed annoyed to be speaking with me. Again, HORRIBLE customer service all around. I'd expect a company to show some understanding and empathy for a customer who had prescription medication stolen. I did not hear back from him, and that was over 2 weeks ago now. I was hoping he would call back with some type resolution, but he didn't even give me the courtesy of a call back. The invoice was over $7,000 for packing our household, and my husband tipped each packer before they left. We will file the claims for the missing items, broken items and damaged items. I truly hope that anyone considering this company no longer does. read more

The first time I hired this company, I had a great experience. I recently hired them to move me an hour away. Nate came out looked at everything we had and gave me and not to exceed estimate. They were supposed to bring two moving trucks to move me and I was told all of my things would be moved. Two days before the move date, another representative from the company called me and wanted to know if I was OK with moving half of my things on our original Friday move date, while moving the remaining things on Monday. He was very adamant about making things easy. This would not make things easy for me. I told him that would not work for me, I needed it all moved in one day. I received a call back later from Nate saying no worries, everything would be moved in one day. They arrive the morning of our move with two cargo trailers. I knew everything would not fit in here. Long story short they had to go get another smaller trailer, and told me they would not go get another if they needed to. All of my things were not moved and I had to make several trips back to get my remaining ingredients things. I have called several times and I have gotten no response or resolution from the company. The contract was everything was to be moved, and it was not. They also did not wrap or protect my couch. It was filthy when it was put in the house. They also left my table in my dining room, not put together. They took the handles off of my fridge and also did not put those back on. I hired them to make my move easier and it was anything but easy! read more

I have to be honest that I was extremely nervous about this move because the reviews here aren't that good. I couldn't get another local company to return my emails or calls and the second one wouldn't give me an hourly rate. These guys showed up on time (a little early in fact) were very professional and friendly and they were extremely efficient. I have zero issues at all! I would definitely recommend them! read more

These guys were contracted out for my final military move. Crew of five showed up right on time (despite having to drive up to Redding from Marysville) at 8am and had my 12000 lbs unpacked, unwrapped and assembled by 1pm. Quick, considerate, professional. Horrible job!! My parents had a lot of glass statues. Not one was properly wrapped. no bubble wrap. Many were broken. One glass carousel was demolished. One of the large curio cabinets was banged on a rock and part of the leg broke off. Many pieces of furniture was rubbed together due to not being covered correctly. A ceramic statue was dropped and glued back together. At least 2 boxes missing. A full set of china and a family room box containing a keyboard. A wood ship broken and a very important lamp was broken in half!! And this was a several thousand dollar job!!!! read more

I needed to get moved and I had to transition my move around three or four days as you know how escrow goes. They came in and packed up my stuff in the amount of time they said they would 4 hours two bedrooms one bath full garage and a full huge shed. They were cordial and straightforward. They also paid attention not to damage my newly installed floors for the new home buyer. I would definitely hire them again and they also stored my entire contents for 3 days DHS snap Who real estate agencies and the people buying a house who are moving into another state. I don't understand why they have bad reviews. I am military so the military hired them. I did get nervous reading the reviews before they came. I organized and cleaned everything beforehand. So it makes packing much easier for them. They called a day before to confirm they would be coming and said they would arrive around 0800-0830, which they did. Two guys came - Joe & Felix. Then other two men (the driver and another packer- forgot their names). I bought some refreshments and donuts for them. They started right away. They were very professional and kept working till they were done. I was surprised of the protection they did for all my things, furniture, tv, grill, etc. (see pictures). We also bought them pizza as well. I do not have any complains or problems about them. We are moving across the country (California to Maryland) and I am not worried at all about my items. read more

Short update: I have seen pictures of other people's moves through T-Bow, but my move looked nothing like theirs. Only one item was even wrapped in moving blankets, while the rest was haphazardly papered. If the destination movers hadn't removed it all, I would have taken pictures. What I take from this is that their quality is wildly inconsistent. If you are an individual or small business looking for long-term storage, T-Bow is not your answer. They were the subcontractor for my military move. I have had several moving companies ship my goods and store them multiple times. This was by far the worst move I have ever even witnessed. I witnessed as much of the packing as I could, but it happened in several rooms, so I couldn't watch it all. Never have I had so many things broken or poorly packed. Even some of my electronics were destroyed, after the box they had been stored in was place underneath my couch. My desk had been placed in a corner of its storage crate, where a nail in the crate had worked its way through a solid 3/4" of a 3-inch-deep piece of wood. Pieces of my goods were sticking out of boxes, and they completely destroyed several larger pieces of furniture. Almost nothing besides my clothes was unscathed. Several of my books had been packed so poorly in boxes that the bindings had come completely undone. Their customer service is very helpful and friendly, but they are terrible movers. read more

It only took a week from the time we called til they moved us. Fast. But the 2 stars is from the amount of broken and damaged items and horrific packing job. The damage has me really angry. They tossed childhood creations into boxes with heavy items smashing them all. Many broken valuables and glassware. Just watch them pack so you don't have the insane amount of heartbreaking damage. Board games packed sideways and spilled out everywhere. What a mess. But they were fast. Guess you have to pick and choose...but I'd have preferred slow to the amount of broken items I cannot replace. Color me annoyed. Editing the review to ONE star. Thanks a goddamned LOT for throwing my Playstation in with some goddamned books. Totally smashed!! Assholes!!!!! Anyone hires these clowns BEWARE!!!!! As a third edit I thought I'd let everyone know that even a box of VHS and DVDs are not safe. When the damned PLASTIC inside of COLLECTOR EDITION TAPES have been knocked out you know the box was handled by an asshole. We are a military family and as such have moved around A LOT. This was by far the worst move we've experienced yet. (For reference, this was my 4th PCS move and my husbands 10th. We've done this a few times). The owner/boss (who we never met) called his staff regularly and asked to speak to my husband and then harangued him for various reasons, including not being able to pack my kitchen on day 1 (of a 3 day pack job with a long holiday weekend in between days 2 and 3). We were told we'd have 3 people packing on day 1, but 2 of them dropped off 1 guy (who was nearly 60 years old) and left to "do another job". We were told we'd have 4 guys on day 2, we had 2. We were constantly told they were short handed due to guys being sent out on jobs for higher ranking personnel, as though they were more important than my family. These jobs are bid on, and if you don't have the staff to cover it, don't bid the job. Move out day included the owners son, who had to repeatedly call his father for help filling out the paperwork, as he didn't seem competent to do it. He marked EVERYTHING as damaged in multiple ways, including things that were not. We had 1 picture box marked as high value, and while it was appropriately marked as such and sealed at the top and bottom, it WAS NOT SEALED IN THE MIDDLE. All I had to do to open the box was lift the 2 pieces apart. We had so many items broken, including a Dyson vacuum that was snapped in half. In fact, on all previous moves we have never filed a damage claim because there is never enough loss to warrant the effort. This is the first time we've had to due to the high dollar value and excessive number of broken items. I would NEVER do business with T-Bow Moving for any reason! If they are assigned as your movers for a PCS, ask for a different company. read more

Pure professionals! This is my ninth military move and I signed up for a Yelp account to ensure this company received proper recognition for the work that they do. The team lead for my move, Mr Joe Benavidez, takes his job very seriously and has a lot of pride in what he does. If other companies that moved the military around had half as much dedication and professionalism as these guys do it would make our moves so much less stressful. read more

What a mess this turned out to be. Since my last review, I've unpacked more boxes that were too heavy for me to carry in from the over stuffed shed. Now I know why. Large boxes were filled with books and heavy objects smashing whatever was near the bottom, like framed family photos. Total disregard when unloading the truck. Boxes that were clearly marked to go in the kitchen, MS bedroom, etc., were shoved into the shed. What the hell ? Do these guys have a brain, or they obviously just don't care. read more

Damaged collectible items (couldn't fit them in the car) 4 pieces of furniture without any hardware, one damaged 3d printer, one damaged pc -the receiving end movers were astonished that it was packed with no passing and an xbox- damaged wall hanging items, acted like they hated their job the entire time they were in our home. Left the door open on a 111° day, complained the entire time, I actually had to be removed because they said they weren't allowed to close the door and I was suffering heat fatigue symptoms. Almost left various large items behind. Zero stars would be too many for these criminals. Oh yes, only two of them could get on the military base because the rest had criminal histories. No wonder my belongings are in ruins. read more

We just had a military move from NV to VA and T-bow moving was the company assigned to us. When our stuff arrived in VA I was in tears because of how terrible our personal goods were treated! We had 3 pages worth of damages and 3 big items of furniture just missing. They never wrapped a thing so all of our furniture is chipped and scratched along with black grease stains on everything. It was a nightmare and still can cry thinking about it. DO NOT go with this company. read more

They asked questions about items they weren't sure of and made sure we were satisfied with how things were going. Definitely would recommend! I had the pleasure of using T-BOW Moving & Storage for my move in August and had a great experience. Our movers were Doug and Felix, who did an exceptional job from door to door. I was very impressed by the care taken to insure that everything that went on your truck was thoroughly padded and secured. I also had a 'special handling' item in the way of a 100 gallon aquarium, that they handled expertly. They could not have been more accommodating, even when the move entailed more than originally planned. If you want movers to show up on the scheduled day, don't call T-Bow. We had arranged a week in advance for them to come to our storage unit to move all our household to our new home. The time, date and location was arranged. We arrived at our 9 x 20' unit early to move all our stuff out to the loading area to expedite the loading of the truck. The appointed time came and went - NO T - Bow! After several calls to Nate, he assured us he'd "check on it." We had to keep calling to find out the truck status. He finally told us no trucks/movers were available. Here we were with a full house full of furniture and goods in the parking area of the storage unit. We're in our late 60s. We had a couple of family members helping us and 2 men from church. Our choice was to move it all back in storage, or rent a U-Haul. We had another group of helpers waiting at our home an hour away to help offload. What was planned to be an easy move, turned into a nightmare. Don't call T-Bow! We got an apology from Nate saying he didn't know what happened, but they could maybe move us on Monday! Um - thanks, but NO THANKS. read more

I have been very stressed about the whole situation, and these two young men made one of my difficult days a lot easier. They were efficient, can-do young men. If you ever need a cross country mover DO NOT call T-Bow or Stevens Worldwide. I just had the worst move experience of my life. Items lost, broken, poorly packed (such as furnished furniture parts packed in the same box as the garden tools). They took everything apart (I had to put it all back together), and they even destroyed our new BBQ. Then we were over charged for extra boxes. This included things like packing one hat in one box, a bucket in another and lo and behold we have extra boxes! When we complained, the CEO HERSELF told us that she would make it right. We NEVER heard back from her. Then they basically denied our claims. Not even an apology. They were kind enough to send me an order form for replacement parts for our infrared fryer. They were rude, incompetent (they packed their lunch wrappers and orange peels in our drawers!), and wouldn't know customer service if it hit them on the head. I've used most of the major carriers over the years and this one was the worst one ever. Just shockingly poor service. How do they even stay in business? read more

Worse service ever beginning to end. I contacted T-Bow because they got an excellent rating on Angie's List? A representative came to our home in July to review our shipment. We talked for quite a while then, booked a date and everything seemed to be going well. I made a few calls to ask various questions along the way, and did not receive calls back for several days at a time? Also, the week before the move they wound up giving us a "window" of several days for delivery, when it was made VERY CLEAR from the beginning that we needed to be in the other city on a firm date. If they could not have accommodated us, the rep should have said so from the beginning instead, they kept the "window" info until the very end, not fair. The result was a very long stressful couple of months which was completely unnecessary! We wound up calling another mover on very short notice who was more than glad to ship our goods on time! read more
