In long We stopped in here for an early dinner on the way home from other errands. They already had a couple tables, even at an in-between hour. They've done an awesome job with the place--it was a great pho spot before, too, but they really brightened up the dining room and made it feel clean and inviting. We chatted for a second with the gal at the counter, and we might need to adopt her and take her home. She's so sweet. Turns out the whole staff is great; we chatted about the World Cup game, their specials, and their future addition of vegetarian pho to the menu. Really fun young folks here. We got 2 BYO phos, plus apps. Pork skewers Grilled with nice touches of sweet and savory, and served absolutely dazzlingly moist. We dipped them in the peanut sauce that came with the rolls. Grilled pork fresh rolls Not wrapped tightly enough, but otherwise perfect (and the wrap was our only quibble with the whole experience). Chewy noodles, fresh crunchy veg, awesome moist pork with tons of seasoning and grilling flavors. The peanut sauce is as good as any we've had, and the house chili paste lit it right up. BYO pho Hers--steak and shrimp. Mine--flank and brisket. They have cool sandwich-board signs out front luring you in with promises of delicious pho, and what they serve is every bit as enticing as those photos. The noodles have a clear aroma note to them, they're as fresh (and delightfully chewy) as any I've had. The broth is spectacular. Deep and rich, but light on the seasonings and still very clear. It's a bunch of satisfying umami with no overboard notes. You can season it up at the table, and it complements anything you choose for your soup. The condiments are sparking fresh--basil you can smell at the next table, crunchy sprouts, juicy limes, everything right on point. The $15 regular isn't a huge portion, which might annoy some folks. It's just the right amount of food for us, though, and getting to be the standard pricing around here these days. If this place had a bar, we'd never go anywhere else for pho. We finally got to try this new Vietnamese restaurant that just opened in Mukilteo. It's not a big restaurant, but its food has big, bold flavors. She had the phô and I had the grilled BBQ pork with broken rice. Love what we had today and we can't wait to try the other things on the menu. The Phô was beefy, rich and aromatic. The grilled pork was delicious, tender and had a nice charcoal taste. They have a good drink too, made of kumquat (which is their version of kalamansi and coconut water, with pieces of fresh coconut. It's very refreshing. There are about 10 tables, 4 top. We went around 3 pm and it was moderately busy. You order your food from the front counter. The food came out pretty fast. The servers were super friendly. The restaurant has a clean, bright modern vibe. It's in a strip mall, so there's ample parking outside. The menu is quite limited, but that's fine. read more

Decided to try this place out. Heard good things about it. T House is a new Vietnamese restaurant located in Mukilteo speedway in a strip mall next to Safeway. It has a small menu but could order different ways of ordering the protein either by Bahn mi, with vermicelli or rice. We had the build your own pho and grilled pork with rice. We also had the coconut water with kamquat. Food was on spot! Very delicious! I already want to eat there again! Restaurant has several tables and could do a take out order. Service is great. You pay as you order but you can sit down and wait for your food to be served. They are very friendly. New restaurant so everything is clean and a bit modern. This restaurant is located in a local shopping center and I think it's a popular place . The food looked good but flavors were ok . Three of us ordered four items to share , but somehow the presentation looked different than the menu photos . Overall the food was ok . Service was 5/5. Friendly family run business located in a mall with lots of parking available. They have QR codes at the tables for the menu but I am not sure they work instead they ask that you order up front and have a paper menu there. Food was standard. The fresh rolls have the crunchy wrapper in it and was tasty. The sauce was a bit thin for my preference. A couple other reviews mentioned the filling to bread ratio for the banh mi. The banh mi is on the smaller side but it's the baguette roll itself that is smaller than other places. The ratio of filling to bread when you take into account bread size is actually okay. They may want to consider the price or upgrade to slightly larger rolls with more filling. I wish they put less ice in the drinks. Will ask for less ice next time. read more

I stopped here in the morning after getting off the Clinton-Mukilteo Ferry. It is in the strip mall to the left of the Safeway. The service was great, very friendly and kind. When I asked for the tofu, they asked if I wanted a vegan sauce, which was very thoughtful of them. I forgot to ask about gluten-free and I don't think it was, but I did ok with it. For water they bring you your own bottle. The smoothie had more of a lychee flavor to me than a mango flavor, but I didn't mind that. The restaurant is very clean and new, I hope it stays clean and well cared for for years to come. read more

Stopped by to check out this new spot in the Lynnwood/Mukilteo area--always on the lookout for good Vietnamese bites. I ordered the grilled pork banh mi and egg rolls to enjoy there, plus a grilled chicken banh mi to go. Ended up getting the last two banh mi--score. The grilled pork was really good: tender, flavorful, and finished with a swipe of egg butter, which felt like T-House's own twist. The grilled chicken banh mi was packaged nicely in its own sleeve, with the veggies kept separate in a bag--appreciated that detail. Egg rolls were freshly made and hit the spot too. Food - everything was delicious!!! We ordered the signature banh toasted and it was really savory, I think it's the butter that gives it that extra oomph. The spring roll was super fresh and yummy too, I got the shrimp & pork one. It also has a fried wonton in it and that extra crisp gives it that nice extra texture. Would def order again! The banh uot was also sooo yummy. I've never had that at a viet place but I love fresh steamed noodles and this was exactly what I thought it'd be and it was so good! Loved the pork floss on it, the fried donut pieces. And there was lots of meat. Would order everything again! Not pictured is my husbands pho bc he was heating it up (he likes his soup super hot). He is pretty picky when it comes to pho broth bc of what he grew up with but he likes theirs! We will def be visiting again whenever we have a viet craving. The dine in was laid out perfectly fine. Not squishy at all and music was complimenting. Our first experience for dine in was different than other restaurants. You go in, order at the register, pay and then seat yourselves. The wait wasn't long at all, we got our banh mi sandwich first, which we split in half to enjoy while we wait on our pho. Our Thai tea arrived and then our soup, which we loved because it came steaming HOT. Exactly how we like it. Some places serve the pho but it's more "luke warm" instead of steaming hot. The broth was amazing! I have a hard time deciding which out of the 3 favorite pho places has the best between Pho Laday, Pho Asia or T-house. They're all good. So if you want good pho AND banh mi, maybe come to T-house. If you want a different experience like a boiling hot stone bowl of pho, go to pho laday. Pho Asia has always been a regular to us and it's never been bad so, I guess for me, that's just a quick hit up spot that is closer to me for travel. That Banh Mi has a special house made sauce btw! Food was meh. Ordered shrimp and pork spring rolls, the rolls were soft and fresh, but the peanut sauce was so runny and had no flavor. Only flavor came from the peanuts. My husband ordered the signature banh mi sandwich, he said it was not good. I ordered the grilled pork, lacked flavor. The veggies should be pickled to give it a boost in flavor but it wasn't. Also the bread was soo thick and hard I had to rip some off so i can taste something. When i was waiting for my food a table complained about their pho, couldnt hear completely but the customer was being nice about it. I hope this business reads this so they can improve. All the hard work into opening a business and the food is lacking is a shame.
