    Banh mi chao!
    Nathan F.

A simple, no-frills Vietnamese restaurant just off the 99 in Lynnwood, we were recommended Pho & Chill by our friends that we wanted to catch up with. We came on a Friday afternoon, and it was not busy at all. I got the Banh Mi Chao. For $20, it was average. The steak was of good quality, but I had a problem with the portion size of the meat, as well as the questionable addition of sausages and fries to the banh mi chao. I did not think the fries and the sausages made sense with the meal. I rate it a 3/5. I'll give this place 4 stars since the service from the staff and overall ambiance of the restaurant were nice (they keep playing funny music on the TV lol). I made good memories catching up with friends here, and I got to enjoy that over good food!

Grilled pork spring roll. As expected, very good.

Finally got a chance to stop by, it was good. The boba, smoothie, & desert selection is a must also.

This place has potential. It was pretty busy when we came so it took awhile to get seated and order food. Which is completely understandable. It's not why I'm giving 3 stars. The dishes all sounded so good but they didn't taste as flavorful as it looked. The Pho special with garlic and egg was pretty good though. I would order that next time instead of the regular pho. This is the first time i've seen them give like 4 pieces of meat and more noodles. The broth was super bland. My friend's bun rieu was missing some type of seasoning. It tasted off. Our appetizers came out super late. The food in general took forever to come out. We couldn't order any drinks because the lady was leaving to the store. So we couldn't order drinks after waiting awhile to order and be seated. Most of the utensils were not restocked. I could see the workers just talking and chilling with each other when you can tell it's busy. I would love to come back another day when it's not as hectic because they have other items that look pretty good. My group probably came on the wrong day.

The shop was pretty busy when we stopped by Sunday afternoon (to go orders & dine in). 2 stars knocked off - 1 due to cleanliness of store & table. The sauce trays were really dirty/gross - looks like they never clean them. Another star due to value/flavor. Small size Pho is pretty small compared to other shops in area for $13.50. It was as small as my hand (photo attached for reference). Husband disliked his Bun Bo Hue which is one of his fav childhood dishes. Broth lacked flavor & the ingredients didn't taste fresh. We prefer the pho at Pho 175 in Mill Creek instead.

Service was horrible. Food was ok. Ordered water for family of 4 and Vietnamese coffee but only got coffee. Ordered B1 pho but got B13 pho. Napkins were not given till asked. Chopsticks were not given till ask. Condiments for pho not provided and they did not care to check in on us. Going inside the floor is sticky as though it was never cleaned since day 1. We went an hour after opening and the sauce bottles were already dirty. As though there were no attention to details. Bun Bo Hue is good. The rest is meh.

Wanted to try this place after seeing some post from my fellow helpers! Wanted to try something different so got the skillet (bahn mi chao). Although what I got didn't look like the other post, it was very tasty and hit the spot. I will come back and try their pho next time ..or maybe get the skillet again.

New ownership? It did say grand opening so I'm unsure if they closed down and reopened or grand opening as under new ownership. The pho did not come out like some of the previous pictures shown. They had some specials going on and it was okay. Their regular pho was okay too. The pho broth was a bit on the sweet side though. Its different for everyone. It might be okay for me and good for someone else.

The food and service was so good! We came in to grab a quick bite to eat and left finding a new regular place for us to grab food from. I asked for chili peppers on the side because I love spicy food and they cut some up and brought it out from the kitchen for me, as pictured. The bread was so good I think they make it here or something. Would recommend to the hungry and looking for stability in their food lives haha. My wife got the bun Bo hue - absolute banger with depth. I got the bangs mi chao - super filling and comes with so many things you eat with your banhmi.

I love coming here to pho and chill :3 The pho here is so hearty and filling. They do not skimp out on the meat here. I like that the meats are slightly undercooked so when it when it comes out to your table, the broth heats up the meat evenly which helps preserve the consistency of the meat without making it taste chewy and overdone. The pho comes in a size small or large. The portions are very big even for a small. They have an extensive menu with all kinds of Vietnamese cuisine. They recently updated their menu and they have some new dishes, including bo kho. Every time I'm here, I'm always in the mood for pho so I haven't had a chance to order much of their other dishes, except for the rice cake dishes and the bubble tea drinks. Everything has tasted delicious so far! The owners are hard at work and they take your order and serve the food promptly. Satisfied with the service overall. This is one of my favorite casual, authentic Vietnamese restaurants in the north end :)

I am easily persuaded by social media. When I saw this restaurant pop up in my feed and realized it was close to home, I immediately scheduled a lunch date with my SO. Upon walking in you're greeted by friendly staff. There are cute decorations on the walls (including the standard millennial grass wall hanging with business name in neon), and there was a counter full of plastic cups with the start of mix fruit desserts in the bottom of each. The dining area is a little tight if you want to dine in. It seemed we avoided the lunch rush because there were several un-bussed tables to avoid when we were told to choose any seat. We came for the street snacks and dessert and it was a lovely day so we didn't order pho. In the spirit of foodie adventures, we ordered two things we had never tried before: Bánh Khọt (on the menu these are described as Vietnamese mini savory pancakes) and a dessert with Milo (essentially a chocolate malt) as the base. We also ordered banh xeo and garlic fries. The garlic fries were my least favorite. Not as much of a garlic taste, a little on the thin side, and no dipping sauce came with them (although there are sauces on the table). But where the garlic fries failed, the banh khot shined. Banh khot, I quickly realized, is just a mini banh xeo with a single shrimp in the middle, which makes eating it so much easier. The banh xeo was equally as delicious, and the accompanying herbs and lettuce were fresh. Pho and Chill has a whole menu page dedicated to drinks and desserts, so I had to try one. I chose the Milo with boba and flan as an homage to a single childhood trip to the Philippines where I discovered Milo chocolate candies and fell in love with the taste. This Milo dessert cup is rich, blended ice with flan on the top and boba at the bottom. The little bits of Milo that form a crust around the rim were a tasty memory of my childhood trip. I'm so happy to find Pho and Chill, especially for the dishes that you can't find at a regular banh mi or pho shop (it's been a while since we found banh xeo since our favorite Vietnamese shop in Everett closed). And I can't wait to return in the summer months for a refreshing dessert or a meal heavy on the herbs and lettuce. Give them a try!

Very potential restaurant with great choices for food. However they need to improve the service and drink. We came around 11.10 a.m like second customer in the store but the service pretty slow. Sat there and waited for like 20 minute without offering the water even the customer came after us has gotten their water already. I ordered Pho, it was good but my husband plate the lamb was raw inside. Maybe they need to cook slightly longer to bring out the taste of lamb otherwise will smell quite gamy. But the sauce over the lamb and egg was really delicious! The drink was not the best if you don't wanna say bland. Can't taste the mango and matcha at all. Just like milk alone. Well you can see by the color of the drink. I don't know others will taste better or not. Service , 3/5 Food variety, 5/5 Food taste, 3.5/5 Drink taste, 3/5 Cleanliness, 4/5

I love all of the above, but I was delighted by how amazing their adobo fried chicken sandwich tasted. If you want something easier to eat that is less rich and messy than their popular lechon kawali roll, I would order the adobo fried chicken sandwich. It tasted super delicious, but more simple and easier to digest. If you want something more tangy and meaty in flavor, you might prefer to try their fili-bistek sandwich instead. For a starter to munch on, side item, or for an easy standalone snack, their lumpia shanghai is perfect for that or the sisig-style fries that you'll need a fork to more easily navigate your way through it. If sandwiches aren't your thing and you prefer rice dishes instead, their kawali bowl is a good one to try. As I briefly mentioned above, I really enjoyed their traditional-style halo-halo that I simply couldn't wait to eat last for dessert. I ate/drank it with my meal, which is actually not that uncommon to do. There are just a few steps you need to take to prepare it before consuming it. First, I kept the lid on (so that none of the overflowing precious ingredients spilled out) and I used my spoon to carefully mix all the ingredients around, reaching to the bottom, up, and around. Yes, seems like a hassle, but the mixing part is a very key and important step! For those who don't know, "halo-halo" literally means "mix-mix" in Tagalog (the main dialect in the Philippines). Once you've patiently mixed everything together, you can use your spoon to start eating it until it is no longer overflowing. Now, you can safely remove the lid without spilling anything and I then can interchangeably use my spoon and also sip directly from the cup. It's fun! ;-) Go to LASA and support an awesome small business!!! I live in Seattle. Yup, it's a bit of a trek, but it's so worth it!!! They have mouthwatering food, free parking, friendly staff, and relaxed vibes.

Every bite had something going on. Highly recommend stopping by, but just be ready for a food coma afterward. Totally worth it!!

I got the Blu Burger, and I took The Hippie Burger (vegetarian, vegan if you remove the Chipotle mayo) home for my partner. The woman at the counter was super friendly and packaged the burger very carefully so I could take it home in one piece! I ordered the Blu Burger & Butterfinger Milkshake - both were solid. Butterfinger shake was delicious, although part of me wishes I got some of their on-tap root beer instead. The burger was tasty, albeit a bit of an adjustment for me since I'm still warming up to blue cheese. The only downside was that the bacon tasted a bit too meaty (if that makes sense) and one of the pieces had a part that couldn't be chewed in it. Regardless, it's a solid burger and I'm excited to go back and try another one! They do not serve beer/alcohol here anymore and have converted the old beer tap to a root beer tap. I highly recommend trying this place out as the new owners/workers are very friendly & the food is delicious!
