Tasty pho in a relaxed atmosphere. Stopped by to have a large seafood pho for lunch and I was the only one in the restaurant. Easy free parking in the lot nearby a yummy coffee drive thru stand and other food establishments. Service was quiet which I don't mind but wish maybe they had some music playing. Waitress/cashier gave me a water bottle and menu. I didn't drink the water bottle as I wasn't sure if they charge for bottled water or not and was a bit confused why I didn't get a glass.. Tables only in the restaurant with utensils, napkins, and condiments available. Pho was yummy and satisfying. Broth was flavorful and delightful. Shrimp was good quality and squid is always my favorite part. I would return if in the area as the food is tasty and they have more affordable prices. Relaxing spot for lunch on a cold day.

small but clean and parking, friendly and quick service. we did get Pho. it was good but we like fresh chili sauce not from jar with msg. Taro Bobo was good and veggie fried rice good portion!

Steak pho.. I might have already started on it.

Literally thousands of people drive by this place every day, not realizing it's there. I think it's a family-owned business. The service is prompt, the food is excellent. The servers are friendly and it's reasonably priced. The parking lot seems to get a lot of business for the surrounding businesses, which suits me fine. If you're anywhere near Martha Lake you should definitely check this out. Just don't go at lunch. I don't want to have to wait. I get this place all to myself some days.

Small steak and brisket, which showed up with bonus meatballs! Broth was nice and clear before I rewired it with sambal and sriracha.

In short Neighborhood pho joint with a straightforward menu. They're delivering the goods for a fair price. In long This is a bustling strip mall on an even-more-bustling 4-lane thoroughfare into Mill Creek. The parking lot is always packed. Especially on weekends, you can often assume that the pool hall/sports bar in the corner suite is drawing most of that traffic. But like most of the smaller businesses here, Pho Hoang has some reserved parking and you can hook it straight up. There's pho available at a couple spots within a few miles, but there are a ton of subdivisions and apartment complexes right around here. I was not at all surprised to see well over a dozen takeaway orders leave the dining room while I ate, and to hear a constant clatter from the kitchen, even though I was the only person eating in. You walk in to an open dining room with minimal decor. Dozen tables, acoustic drop ceiling, simple art. No muss, no fuss. Pay station in the back, tell 'em how many in your party and ya have a seat. No TVs I don't think, no music playing. A couple big potted plants. Seemed like the staff was mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, plus somebody in the kitchen and daughter at the pay station. Everyone is super nice, chatting warmly to each other in Vietnamese throughout my visit. I felt like I was visiting people in their home, in the nicest possible way. For my first time in, I got the usual steak and brisket. A small was filling for sure. You get an old teapot with a teabag steeping in it if you ask. They bring you a chilled plastic bottle of water when you sit. The broth was good stuff here. Rich and marrowy, nice and clear, good balanced spices. Everything in it was as it should be--tender meat, chewy noodles, nice flavor to the meatballs. The meatballs were a nice surprise, actually. The condiments were all in good shape--crunchy sprouts, very juicy fresh lime, super-aromatic basil. They don't bring you jalapenos or cilantro, and I didn't ask for any so I don't know if they stock it. But it was a perfectly satisfying bowl of soup as it was. I was out the door with a good tip for barely $20, happily armored against a cold damp day.

Should've taken a photo prior to the veggie toss - but nonetheless one of the delicious tasting bun bo hues ive tried!

First Time Here! The staff was a kind and genuine family owned restaurant. Delicious Bun Bo Hue

It is a bit out of the way, but what a find! It's small, homey, and simple, but the broth is amazing. We had the bun bo hue, and it is as perfect as can be. The broth is rich and umami, and spicy, and just a little bit sour with tamarind, not vinegar. The noodles were perfectly cooked and there was an ample amount of meat. The other highlight was the goat noodle soup. When we ordered it, the server looked at us like "are you sure about that??" It's not for everyone. The taste of goat is much stronger than lamb, but so well balanced with the herbs and spices that it turned out to be a fabulous bowl. It came with a special dipping sauce that worked perfectly. Again, not for everyone, but for us, perfection. The fried egg rolls were flavorful, and full or minced pork and shrimp. But a little over-fried. All-in-all, a wonderful find and I would be willing to make the hour drive again!

Delicious bún suòn bò. Meat seasoned and grilled to perfection. Could add a bit more veggies to the bowl. Fish sauce is a tad bit bland. All that aside this is excellent dish Nice clean generic Viet restaurant dining space The owner is hilariously friendly. Love their hospitality.

We stopped by here while we were heading north to the outlets. It was a really nice find. The place is clean. The owner is really nice. We had a nice conversation with him. For those who find him rude, I could only think it may be a language barrier. We were given bottled water instead of tap, and were told they're free. The banh xeo was really crispy, even after it's been sitting around while we were eating our other dishes. The bun bo hue was not spicy, but still nice. I have never had a goat noodle soup, so had to order that. I found out it's a dish that's from western/Mekong region of Vietnam. It is gamey, so may not be for everyone. I was glad to have tried it. My niece enjoyed her pho. Is this the best Vietnamese place? Probably not, but I would definitely come back to try more dishes, especially the dried noodles with soup on the side. I appreciate they did not just have the regular pho, vermicelli and rice.

Flavorless noodle dishes during my experience but friendly staff. I would like to revisit and try other dishes on the menu and update the review once that occur. Yummy spring rolls tho and good presentation with the noodle bowls.

This place was like a treasure hunt! If you ever get to go here please do taste Goat Noodle soup & I can bet on anything you won't stop having it ! It's such delicious dish I wanted to post photo before we started eating but oops was a lil late! Then you can also try Shrimp fried rice which is another lovely relish!! Small place but great food! Enjoy!!!

Been looking for a great pho place for 10 years around the area Thats just as good as this one right down the road from this one. This one has beat it! This pho is soooo amazing, the broth is outstanding! The chicken is perfect and so are the noodles. Pork egg rolls have so much flavor and the crisp is so perfect. Highly recommend this Vietnamese restaurant to anyone in the area!

One sentence: If you want AUTHENTIC Vietnamese food... this is the spot. Period. The Pho is so aromatic and their goi cuon (spring rolls) are heavenly. Closest thing to Ba Noi/ngoai's cooking. Homey feeling.

I ordered brisket pho with extra meat to-go, and when I got home and started eating, things were normal at first. HALF OF THE BRISKET was good! And all of the noodles! I noticed that the other half of the meat had this strange texture that didn't seem normal for brisket but I didn't care until I ate some of it. It was terrible, it had no flavor, and the texture made it even worse that I had to spit it out. I still ate the noodles so that I didn't starve, but I left all the weird meat as you can see. Is this what happens when you order at 5:03pm? Did they purposely choose some of the leftover bad meat as the "extra" meat? Or was it maybe an innocent mistake? Maybe it's something normal that should be expected when you order 1 hour before they close? I don't think that one makes sense, though. I probably won't come back for a while and try out a new place instead.

The sandwich isn't as buttery and flavorful as I remembered. Pickles and bread are good, tasted very fresh. But they were lacking flavors for the meat and the butter and pate spread. Ordered the cold cut and pulled pork, flavors are just alright. Overall, just a mediocre banh mi. I've given it a try twice and it still didn't live up to my expectations the way I used to remmeber it sadly.

Fast forward a year later to a Sunday at 12:30pm and I finally made the long drive here without going through Aurora Ave since my GPS randomly decided to give my road rage some grace. This place has plenty parking around the perimeter, so it was easy settling in. Only confusion was finding the entrance to this place, but when I did I was actually surprised where I was stepping into. Inside is laid back and cool with plenty of seating for groups of various sizes. There's tables and booths, and I got booth seating for myself when I walked in. There's a TV playing sports nearby where I was, and Vietnamese pop music was playing in the background too. Menu consists of regular foods in most Vietnamese restaurants, though their provincial noodle soups and banh mi sandwiches caught my eye. They even have bún măng vịt (duck and bamboo shoot noodle soup), my favorite that I gotta try next time I come here! From my IG feeds and as a starting point, I got their bánh mì thịt heo nướng (grilled pork Vietnamese sandwich), which comes with all the works of a regular banh mi sandwich, though I was kinda surprised how brightly orange the grilled pork was. Regardless, it was tasty and the meat was juicy. The pork pate added a nice savory touch to the sandwich, and no other condiment was in excess that it took away taste from the flavorful grilled pork. Staff was very kind throughout, and refilled my water every now and then. It was also nice chatting with one of them about our day and other recommendations from the menu. There's so much to have on their menu so I need to make the drive here again to have more of their stuff!

It tastes just as good and has the same wonderful quality I remember from growing up. I love their vermicelli bowls and their Vietnamese crepe the most. I also love their pho. I hadn't eaten here In years and my wife never. They used to give a nice refreshing lychee water drink with a long dessert spoon for the fruit which I remember loving long ago. Many other tables had them but we were never offered it as service was brisk yet not very friendly. I ordered a Dac Biet pho (my regular choice) but they don't have tripe??? I usually pass on pho restaurants that don't serve tripe and tendon. I was at best average but honestly not near the best I've ever had in the US or Vietnam. At almost $20 for a bowl I wasn't impressed enough to say "let's go back". My wife ordered the pork vermicelli bowl (her usual). She liked it ok and I tried a bit. Again pretty tasty and in my opinion a better dish than their pho, but not worthy of returning over other choices. Overall if you are comfortable parking in a tight little parking lot to eat average food in a little old building it's not a bad choice. But I would not purposefully go back even though we shop often at Costco and Home Depot nearby.
