This place has been getting worse by the day. I moved to Rosenberg three years ago and they are the only Chinese restaurant and know it. When I order over the phone they have zero people skills...shocker! "What you won order?" Before I can add anything to my order they give you a total and hang up. I order general Tso's chicken tonight and it was ready within 3 minutes. I sent it back because it was cold. She seemed so shocked I did that. All the employees were eating in the main dining area and all looked over to me. Two minutes later it is back on my table. Reheated and tasting terrible. I took two bites and got a check. They made me pay for it! Never again. What a terrible representation of Chinese cuisine with service to match. If anyone opened a Chinese restaurant in town they would certainly put these folks out of business. Save your money and don't eat here. read more

Horrible syrupy food.I complained and there was no recourse. I complained twice , the owner and to the waitress and she asked, Why did you not say you wanted your General chicken no sweet. DON'T EAT HERE!!!!!! I'm posting this again, because for some reason, this place is listed twice in the app with the same address and name. I came here because I saw good reviews. I ordered the Orange Chicken from the Specialty section of the menu. As I started to eat, I cut into a piece of chicken. It was still pink inside! I brought it to the waitress's attention, and she told the manager. They said that it's how they always cook it, and they weren't willing to do anything to correct it. They said they could take it back and cook it longer, but how do you cook something longer that is fried and covered in sauce? Are you going to fry it again? Are you going to scrape the sauce off of each piece, glue the pieces I cut back together, and double fry this food? I'm sure that would taste amazing! After I showed her, the person at the next table looked over and said "yeah I wouldn't eat that either, I can see it is pink from here." What did they do next? They gave me my bill. The vegetable lo mein and the orange chicken are our family favorites. We also get the chicken fried rice. I was surprised to find out that they deliver. It came earlier than the time quoted which was great. The delivery guy seemed a bit confused but I don't fault the restaurant for that. Every time we dine in, the wait staff has been great. I think the food is good here. One review said it was nasty, but let me tell you, no, it is not nasty. Good food in my opinion. People need to understand that they're not going to get Gordon Ramsay for $7 a plate. Other than that, seems like the staff have their heads up their asses. Let me explain. They seat the 5 of us at a booth. There are two sets of silverware. My daughter asked for more. The waitress brought one. We had to ask again, this time we specified that we needed two more sets. The appetizer came out after the entrees did and they did not bring out the whole table together. Little things, really. I'm not going to bash a place for being a little clueless. They have delicious shrimp fried rice and the sweet and sour chicken is also delicious. They cook their shrimp fried in egg which it gives that good flavor. Also recommend the Lo Mein. read more

Order from here many times, food is great, just wish they laid off the MSG. It's overwhelming. The fried rice are a bit on the dry side, so we usually get a side of the pepper steak brown sauce to add to the fried rice. Entrees and soup always show up HOT even with delivery. read more

This is a sit down place and is pricey for the quality of food you get. It has a very fast food feeling and flavor. I had the general chicken and rice and was there at lunch. They are quick, I will give them that but that's about all I can give them. The tables were sticky, the restroom was filthy and I felt very rushed by the staff who hovered and watched to whisk away the dishes to open the table for the next person. I have tried several different Chinese places so far this one is the best of the lot. Prices are average and about the same as the others. Spring rolls were delicate and small but very good. The hot mustard sauce I have to say I think they are adding vinegar to it to thin it out probably to make it go farther. Just not accustomed to it tasting this way. Plum sauce was typical Fried rice I did not care for and while i have been here a couple times I forgot not to order the fried rice with my food. This trip i had the curry chicken which was great. Will order it again as it was very good and spicy. I will eat here again just will not order the fried rice. I've had T Jin twice in the past two years. The first time was in the restaurant, and it was really good! The second time I ordered take out and it was HORRIBLE! I was really surprised too, because I was the one that recommended the place to others! The crab won tons were definitely something they just pulled out of the freezer and made. I ate a meal that was the H2 (lettuce wraps with a chicken and veggie mixture inside), I don't know what was in it but I immediately threw it away. The thought of the taste makes me gag a little. This Chinese diner always has great food and quick service. You can get take-out or dine-in. Dining in you will see a clean restaurant with simple but very nice modern decor. They give huge portions, and the food is consistently good. T. Jins is located in the shopping center between the JCPenneys and the Kroger. They will usually take special orders, even during their lunch special hours to prepare food the way you like it...such as "a little spicy" or "really spicy". Its not all premade like some Chinese places. Their menu has alot of variety and everything we have ever tried we loved. We've tried other Asian places in the Richmond/Rosenberg area before T.Jins and we are so glad we finally have a great Chinese food place! read more
